Midsomer Murders (1997)
Is this the perfect show?
Yes. Yes it is. There are an average of 3 murders per show. The ideal amount of deaths.
Iron Chef America: The Series (2004)
Why don't the sous chefs win?
I'm watching Iron Chef America tonight and the most masterful dishes gushed over by the judges were 100% prepared by the sous chefs. Not sure why the Iron Chef gets the credit....
Forensic Files (1996)
We need new episodes
I've seen them all! Over and over! We need new episodes.
Chopped (2007)
Still love Chopped
I have watched Chopped for a long time, and I still really enjoyed the show. Sometimes it's obvious that the wrong person wins, but again I didn't have a chance to taste the food. Sometimes it does seem as if the person with the worst sob story is the winner, maybe out of pity.
Unlike some, I do think that leaving out a basket ingredient should be a reason to be automatically Chopped. Although they do you eliminate those who have blood the food because they can't eat the dish, sometimes they give the contestant rave reviews about the appearance of the food when really the person shouldn't even be up there for judging.
Overall it's a fun show and feel most of the judging is fair.
Beat Bobby Flay (2013)
Staged against the contestants
It was a fun show at first, but has become predictable. If the contestant chooses a traditional comfort dish, the judges know Bobby will make a non traditional version or make it southwest inspired. I wouldn't even need to see the show to guess which dish is his. You can't tell me the judge don't know.
He also seems to consistently win even when he has never prepared a dish before. Like the scotch egg episode. I swear I was going by to throw my TV off a mountain if he won the chicken and dumplings competition. The judge who said his disasterous deep fried dumplings were perfect was so full of it. Luckily for my TV he lost.
