Weird filming in dark lighting

The director, cameraman of this series seems to hate daylight or tube light. The entire series, ALL scenes are shot in weird ultra dark lighting conditions, where you are hardly able to see the faces of people. Some sort of utopian world without bright light.

The story is presented well, but this is the first series which put me off because of continuous staring at dark screen, with just voices coming out of it. One might as well present the story on radio.

Prisoners (2013)

Not as good as it is hyped

The start was quite promising, even the build up in the middle felt as if it was leading somewhere. But ultimately, it was unfathomable to believe that the old lady would leave her house unlocked for anyone to come in and find her admistering an injection into her kidnapping victim.

There was so much build up, the maze was just used symbolically, but never meant anything much substantive. They left too many loose ends to make it flawless. I would have rather liked a more subtle uncovering of the actual suspect than such open and shut ending.

Simply a waste of a nice script. A 6 out of 10 is more appropriate than a 8.1 IMDb rating.

Fuss over nothing

I read all the rave reviews, watched the movie with a lot of interest and attention. Dragged myself through 1:30 hours of the movie, with the eternal hope that it would become interesting at some point in time. And yet, even after watching the ending I failed to understand why all the fuss about this movie and acclaimed reviews. This one is a total dud for me.

The movie keeps rambling through sequences which do not have link towards next and could have been totally removed without affecting the story. The story does not lead anywhere at all. Just typical macho image of a south Indian hero is on display throughout the movie. No substance.

You would not believe this movie is made by the same guy who made Dil Se...

Such a mediocre movie. Right from the overall plot / script to the childish video game themes. A teenager who has just recently discovered the feelings of love and infatuation can relate to this movie.

Who else agrees with me that this is arguably the most overrated movie of all times?

This movie is full of coincidences. Why does the Ugly keeps waiting patiently before killing the Blondie for something miraculous saving the Blondie every time!

The 3 stooges(Good, Bad and especially the Ugly) walk through the open spaces as if they are covered head-to-toe with an invisible, impregnable shield and no bullet will touch them! That's Bull!

How does an old man operate a gun store in the middle of a dessert, when clearly he is incapable of defending himself?
