+Fun little comedy that sheds light on an actual case +Matt Damon plays his role well as most of the film you can't tell if he's lying or not

-A little longer than I would've liked and had trouble holding my attention

+So bad it's good +Plot twist that actually made me laugh out loud in theaters +Anne Hathaway delivers such a stiff performance it got a chuckle out of me +Matthew McConaughey tries so hard to make this movie worth watching that he gets the kudos

-It's obvious a terrible film but if you don't take it seriously and just want a laugh I'd say give it ONE viewing

+Deep dive into psychological disorders and the overlooking of government programs to help those in desperate need +Joaquin steals the show and does create a sympathetic psycho that you don't root for but you do feel his pain +Robert DeNiro is brilliant with his limited time on screen and makes for a villain archetype that the crowd can either hate or love

-Small plot twist that doesn't actually feel like it hooked me or enticed a "gotcha" moment.
