Crocodile Hunter (1996)
A great show
This is a wonderful show, hosted by a wonderful man. Firstly, I'd like to say that anybody who thinks Steve Irwin does an over-the-top "Aussie Impression" is dead wrong. That is who he is at heart, he does not act. He has more balls than Stephen Colbert, more energy and life and spunk than anybody anywhere, and has a great persona for a nature show. Many think hes "hurting" or disturbing animals, and while yes sometimes he has disturbed animals, he gives us a great understanding of animals lives, and why we should all work to protect natures wonders. Steve Irwin is great, a lovable character, a great guy in real life, a true lover of nature, and we will all miss him greatly. Bye Steve, thank you for entertaining and educating all of us for the past decade. You will be missed by millions.
South Park (1997)
Sheer Genius
There is no better show than South Park on TV. People have clearly judged it by its early years, when Trey and Matt mainly did fart jokes, which I still found hilarious, but they have blossomed since those years. They have taken the show in many new directions, from their early years of youngster oriented comedy, to the satirical look on the Western world,to integrating their own love of musicals into the show, with their constantly hilarious songs they write themselves, to proving great points on the American goings on, such as the Scientology episode, as well as giving us all life lessons in an EXTREMELY comedic way, such as the episode where Randy Marsh becomes an alcoholic. South Park is great, I've been an avid watcher since it first started, and am now considering a career as a writer thanks to in large part to this show and it's creators. Trey Parker and Matt Stone, I will say again, are comic geniuses, with some great voice over work, despite the disclaimer at the start of every show which says voices are impersonated...poorly.They do great work, from Stans dads voice, to Mr Garrison, right on to Dr Mephesto, the voices just work so well. For anybody who fancies comedy, this show has it all and more, so give it a watch. I can't think of enough good things to say about this creative masterpiece.
Comedy Inc. (2002)
I'm thinking of a word that starts with R...
and that word is, Retarded. Comedy Inc. is a show that calls itself a comedy, but simply does not make people laugh. It has a totally lame cast, with Roman Danylo constantly over-acting his parts, and making up REALLY stupid characters for which to do his sketches. The girls on the show, quite frankly, have no comedic talent. They are just horrible at impressions, for those of you who have seen the judge Judy skit, you know what I'm talking about. Also, it is a Canadian show, so why do they try and tackle so many American issues? Americans do not want to see a bunch of no talent Canadians making American jokes, just as Canadians don't want to see a bunch of slack jawed Americans making Canadian jokes. It just doesn't flow. Anybody thinking of watching this show, you might as well take a fork and jab yourself in the eye, that would be a lot more entertaining then watching this dreg. Bottom line: over acting, bad impressions, lame skit ideas, terrible show.
