Noi siamo leggenda (2023)

The Italian version of Hero

Think about Hero, the American famous tv serie of early 2000. Translate to suburbs of Rome, in a working class scenario. Add very good young actors, so good that if you are Italian and watch them playing, it looks just like reality. Add some other talented adult actors. Place everything in Rome, with breathtaking views, inspiring buildings, ancient places to add pathos to the plot. Script is really ok, enough intriguing to compete with all other European production. If you compare tian American production the development of the story is slow, but it's ok, because it gives you a deep insight of characters. I think it will have a second serie.

Heartstopper (2022– )

The sweetest and nicest gay teenage serie

This serie is lovely. This is the most delicate and sweetest serie narrating a love story between 2 teenage males. So smart, without excessive but a real level of drama. Actors are amazing.

Beforeigners (2019– )

Intriguing and very well made plot and execution.

Rarely I vote 10, but my expectations had been fulfilled by this serie. The plot is really original, actors and actresses are amazing. CGI is great and Sci Fi explainations are ok. This is an high level product, totally unexpected. I know the "woke political" narrative about migrants and so on could be boring, but I have to say it's managed in a proper, good sense, way so i really enjoyed it.

Rita (2012–2020)

10 for seasons from 1 to 3

Mille is a great actress and the whole series deserves the best because of her.

Season 4 is more about her past and we miss Mille any single second.

Mille as Rita gives you the really best a teacher can be for your children at any school.

I enjoyed any single episode because any story depicts the problems occuring teachers to relate with students, parents of students, other teachers and burocracy. Rita shows to be brilliant in solving problems well beyond the rule of a teacher. Mille is gorgeous.

Stalk (2019– )

Unmatchable high quality, super plot, excellent actors, top protagonist short term drama serie

This french TV series deserves the highest rank. The quality of the plot beats easily any other of this kind. Actors are all at the very top. The protagonist is incredibly excellent, he commands the whole 2 seasons serie with a level unseen from Gossip Girl. I do think it's the top of teen, super high quality, tech-oriented, series. Gorgeous.

The Wheel of Time (2021– )

Worth watching, interesting and catching

1) I haven't read the books, so I don't care about those disappointed watchers.

2) I watched 3 episodes and I like them. Rosamund Pike is always great. Main characters are very good, finally not the typical limp actors of Canada casted because of low cost cheap filming in boring British Columbia. This is a European production and it's a magnitude better. Settings in Croatia and Czech republic are magnificent, casting is credible and nice, with Hollywood level of quality.. the storyline is catching. I think the plot will get better and better.

Another Life (2019–2021)

Original script with some very good actors and some flaws

The script and the plot is remarkable. Sci Fi series usually are kinda of same stuff, this time I perceive something different. Are there flaws and mistakes? Yes, alot, but it's worthy to watch and entertaining. Not credible at all Justin Watchin, Lina Renna and the usual robots taken by the Canadian castings, expressionless, boring. By the way, is it possible that any single planet of galaxy resemble British Columbia,? BBBBOOORRRING.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016)

An excellent sequel for an old school action movie. You will love and enjoy it

Tom Cruise is just like excellent wine, the older the better. All the actors and stuntmen are very very good. Lee Child's original script is less intriguing than previous movie, nonetheless is pure action... Money really well spent.

Jack Reacher (2012)

Absolutely a very great old school action movie with great great actors

A must of this kind. Tom Cruise is excellent, really. Rosamund Pike is gorgeous, she is an understimated great actress. Action is solid, fast, real. The plot is intriguing. I loved this movie.

Nine Perfect Strangers (2021)

To watch because of actors and original script

Nicole Kidman is great in this very difficult part. She could have acted very bad but instead the level of carachterization is so high that even the few uneven moment are forgotten easily. I underline that her part is extremely difficult. In general all actors are very good. I love Melissa McCarthy, Bobby Cannavale, Like Ewans, Manny Jacinto and Grace Van Patten.

The script is something unusual and could be really opinioned, so I think you must judge by yourself.

Il vegetale (2018)

Brilliant and kinda of poetic movie on young italiand

Fabio Rovazzi, main character, main actor, in this movie is simply gorgeous. He depicts the contemporary absurd situation of Italian youth. This movie is funny, absurd, poetic, fresh, optimistic but at the same time really deep.

Away (2020)

Not worthy. Space soap opera with woke attitude

Come on, NetFlix, do you think we are so stupid to bear this stuff? You, watchers, please skip this serie. Queen drama, fake space woke team, not so smart feminist behaviour. Wokeness at its worst for a plot which is like a deja Vu... I stopped watching after the first 2 episodes.

The Rain (2018–2020)

Don't waste your time

3 seasons. First is ok, quick and interesting. Second is so slow and boring with just few interesting spots. Third: I watched first episode, tried second one then fast forwarded to last 20 minutes of last episode.

Suggest you not to watch and not to waste your time. Nonsense of plot and boring characters don't help to follow the initial smart idea.

The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)

117 minutes of fun with gorgeous actresses and actors

Watch this action comedy and enjoy 2 hours of a well filmed, super well written movie. Mila and Kate are simply perfect in their characters, and script made me really have a lot of fun. This action comedy isn't stupid at all, on the contrary is a perfectly made very difficult to write original script. Ironic, smart, quick, clever, the story takes place in different cities of mittel Europe and Paris and uses the "geographic stereotypes" in a fresh way. I am European and visited the cities several times, believe me when I say you the authors really kept the spirits of a spy story linked to those places. Actresses are fantastic. You will enjoy and love it.

Burraco fatale (2020)

A new breath in contemporary Italian Mediterranean comedy

I am Italian so believe me when I say this comedy is really funny, smart and depicts perfectly Italy in the 2020s. All 4 main actresses are at their best. Obviously watching the movie in the original language helps to catch the greatness of dialogues. Claudia Gerini is older and even better than ever, nonetheless a beautiful, elegant lady. Angela Finocchiaro is absolutely nailing, her look and face expressions makes you laugh and think. Caterina Guzzanti kills you with her facial expressions and unbeatible mis-speaks only mother language Italian could appreciate till the end. Paola Minaccioni is really great to balance the group with her flavour of crazyness. The old madame, Loretta Goggi, is an Italian institution, and in this tiny cozy lovely comedy is at her best. Actors are very good and credible. Moroccan actor and actresses are incredibly beautiful and elegant. Enjoyable, funny, realistic comedy. You will laugh and think about love and mix of different cultures.

Lost in Space (2018–2021)

Almost perfect space-action and family-drama serie

I have been amazed. The concept is really good, characters are almost all really developed, the story held the suspension of reality absolutely well. I do like it, it's involving and surprising. A MUST WATCH, like THE EXPANSE, for people who love sci-fi

Story could be interesting. Execution and realization are really poor, absolutely not worthy. Don't waste your time, because this stuff will not stand any of your expectations. Acting is quite boring, actors and actresses are over teathrical, not believable. One of the worst experience of 2020.

WoW, when you think 2 supposedly good actresses could make a good show and realize they cooked a bad cake that makes you get colesterol. Reese Witherspoon is... Not her. Her face expression are simply pointless, her actions as mother, as wife and as woman in career simply make no sense. Kerry Washington shows the very same only 3 face expressions she did in Scandal... She's getting old and still can't improve to 4? Even a washing machine has more washing programs... The "forgot the name" lesbian daughter actress probably could improve, but actually i will never be interested in knowing it. The whole story is really stupid, characters are terribles, especially the 2 couples of mother/ daughter.. both of them are the quintessential of females problems without a clue. Even the most brainless person could solve it all using just plain good sense. The only person able to show some good sense seems the father. Females show to be egoist, selfish, brainwashed, greedy. If you really want to watch the worst 2 mothers and 2 daughters can get, up to you. A total waste of time
