Karnan (2021)
No words
I just can't express the emotions I am going through after watching this masterpiece. I am teary eyed and all that's going on in my head is "kya movie tha yaar"
Downton Abbey (2019)
In love
I hadn't watched the series before this. For the whole runtime of this film I had a smile on my face.
Loved it. Every character brought depth to the film.
Abhay (2019)
Very Underrated!
This show has to be one of the darkest & chilling ones I've ever watched.
Excellent cinematography & background score.
Kunal Khemu & every character has done justice to this show. Worth watching!
Breathe: Into the Shadows (2020)
Terrific Show💯
Superb concept. Impactful performances by every character. Cinematography captured the scenes so nicely. The music was jsit awesome too.
This show is proof that if Abhishek Bachan gets a good script he'll give an excellent performance.
Aarya (2020)
Excellent Filmmaking.
It's hard to find web series in India that only focusses on pure quality filmmaking like Aarya unlike other propaganda series.
Every aspect of this show was nicely done. Loved the beautiful integration of the teachings of Bhagwad Gita in this show.
Kudos to hotstar for roping in quality directors for their shows. First Special Ops now Aarya. Looking forward to more shows from Hotstar.
Gulabo Sitabo (2020)
Excellent acting shadowed by unnecessary slow pace.
Every actor in this movie did justice to their respective roles. The cinematography was done elegantly to capture the rawness. Music was inciting calmness.
But all of this was dragged down by an extremely slow pace. Watch this if you can be patient or iur are gonna loose interest in first 30-40 mins.
Paatal Lok (2020)
Propaganda wrapped in excellent film-making.
Started this show & was quite impressed with the acting, screenplay & cinematography. It kept me engrossed. But as I moved to further episodes, the same old Hindu Bashing & Muslim victimisation started. Showing unnecessary scenes to malign Hindus. Netflix did this with Leila & Sacred games. Now even Amazon is doing it now. This show just became another mouthpiece of Leftist propaganda.
The Forgotten Army - Azaadi ke liye (2020)
Can pass on this
Props/set look unrealistic. Putting in Japanese seppuku traditions has no point. The cinematography isn't impressive. CGI is okayish. High on emotion zero on realism. The 1996 plot is stupid af.
A show that had great potential but got ruined.
