Together, Batman and Dent face the crime: when Gambol, the main mob boss, decides to pool all the mob money (billions of dollars) in China and sends Lau (a crooked accountant) to Hong Kong, Batman is able to follow Lau and bring him to Gotham. Dent uses the information taken after his capture to round up a lot of criminals (even Sal Maroni!): a great victory for justice.
But peace does not last: The Joker, a new criminal, reveals himself asking Batman to take his mask off or he'll start killing people. He says he does it for the mob: he wants their money back, and in exchange wants half of it for himself.
The Joker kills some people, but decides to go higher and kidnaps both Rachel Dawes and Harvey Dent: Batman has to decide which one to save.
As part of his plan, Joker gets captured; batman rushes to Rachel to save her, but the Joker has lied, and he ends up saving Harvey Dent, who loses his mind completely when he discovers that not only Joker escaped, but has set on fire the money and the police building.
Joker announces that the Mayor has to die, or he'll blow up Gotham's Hospital. Dent decides to hunt down anyone who was involved in Rachel's kidnap, and kills people too: he finds Maroni and kills him, just after Maroni (worried about Joker's crazyness) has said to Batman where to find the Joker. Meanwhile, the clown blows up the hospital.
Now Joker actually runs Gotham City, so he tells people that they have to deal whit him or to leave. Two ships of pepole leave the metropolis: one full of criminals, and one full of innocents. Joker stops the ships and announces that he'll blow both the ships up at midnight, unless one ship blows the other up (they both have detonators).
Dent finds Commissioner Gordon, who got corrupted (but is still "good") and inevitably led to Rachel's kidnap. Dent threatens him with his gun, but Batman arrives and dives him into a hole in the floor, apparently killing him. Then Batman decides to go on the run: he wants to pretend he killed the people Dent killed, because he thinks Gotham needs it's ex-D.A.'s image untarnished.
Meanwhile, Joker has failed, and he goes in prison. The End...

Uncertainty (2008)
One Bridge, Two Ways.
I was quite bored when I watched this movie Uncertainty. I found on Joseph Gordon Levitt list of movies, and thought this would pass the time for a boring Sunday. The two main actors in this movie is obviously Joseph who played Bobby and Lynn Collins who played Kate, she was in Wolverine. I thought it was going to be chick flick, because of Joseph being in 500 days of Summer. Not a very good justification but that was the first thing that popped in my head. The introduction of the movie is pretty clever with a what if situation for Bobby and Katy if they had done something else. Though the movie it transition from both sides of their what if situation. It really seemed realistic in most areas of this movie. Joseph and Lynn had chemistry, if this was not movie I would assume they were a real couple off stage. Adding to that the angles of New York City and music gave it indie/ documentary. The ending of the movie did not really satisfy me, but if you looking for a movie for some kind of insight in the challenges of life you should check this movie.
Kick-Ass (2010)
Kickass, you mean Asskick
I have never thought a movie like this would so bad ass. I must admit, I was never really anything in high school of course I knew how to draw, but that really can't count in anything in the popularity status for me. Adding to that I read comics whenever I could, especially those batman comics.
So when I heard this movie last year I was curious what a movie like this would be. Obviously I knew a movie like this would based on a graphic novel. Didn't expect that it was written by the author of The Ultimates, Mark Millar. All I am going to say about the graphic novel, that was hell of bloody. Sure the movie didn't follow exactly like the movie but it had its true essence, it was bloody.
Hit-girl is compared to Punisher in the essence of how far they will go, sure she was eleven years old, and her dad is called Big Daddy ironically, recruited her for his mission to gain vengeance on the drug lord Frank A'mica. Kickass, truthfully is a lame superhero, especially without having superpowers. If I was going to be a superhero I would not just get a suit and then expect to kick butt which Dave Lizewski did. He should have thought well what he was going to do, but the thrill of dressing up in tights has a certain aroma that can not be denied.
To sum it up I liked it the movie and I'll give a two thumbs up if you want something that has a good soundtrack and explosions to satisfied your eyes
World's Greatest Dad (2009)
Beware it is funny!
Suddenly today was the day I wanted to watch a movie. Not a typical everyday thriller/action flick with all the explosives and hot babes. I just wanted to watch a movie that made me chuckle and think at the same time.
So I searched through Google for indie movies. I prefer watching indie movies. They have this kind of weird, but cool feel to it while you are watching it. So I found a list of 25 indie movies for 2009, and I found a nifty trailer for this movie. I must say it had me laughing out loud like a fool, but it was great.
That inspired me to watch this dark humor film. Robin Willians as the meek, gentle Lance, and Daryl Sabara as the douchebag son Kyle. From what I seen this was one of Robin Williams tamed roles. None other less he played the character very well. Wow; I was surprise Daryl Sabara was in this movie. The last movie I saw him was in Spy kids; his role in this movie was jaw dropping. Considering how his character was portrayed.
In overall this movie was funny as hell, but also in some parts made you widen your eyes and gasp. I would recommend this movie very much.
The Dark Knight (2008)
Excellent movie
This movie is dream come true for comic-book fans, also mine too, it was fantastic, even my sister liked it, how incredible is that. If you haven't seen it, then you should. It will blow you away with everybody's performance. Heath as the joker, Wowww, I didn't even think it was Heath, To me he was the joker. Batman was awesome as usual. The fight scenes are much better, and the story is more complex and more intelligent. So if you just a casual movie watcher, than beware you might get lost, also this movie is not for children below the age 10. At first when heath was announce as the joker, I had some sceptism, but after I saw the 1st photo of him, i knew he was gonna be excellent, but when I watched the movie, he surpass my expectations and i felt like I was reading comic book. It's a shame that he died, and there never be an actor like Heath. Some people say the movie was too long, but for me the movie should have been more longer because I would have enjoyed even more. Christopher Nolan has once again set the bar for the comic book movie genre.
I give this movie 10/10
