Another Boring Cop

I don't know, but why does Hong Kong always make these crime films? It's been over done so many many times why can't they take note from Korean Cinema? These Hong Kong crime drama is such an old genre that nobody watches any more. They over done it and it's becoming boring typical of Hong Kong to make these kind of crime films which nobody really cares for. Why waste good talent with these films. I'm serious, every film coming out of Hong Kong and China has just been really stale. The ideas are stale and the this film is stale. I wish they rethink about their way of filmmaking. The next wave is Korean cinema which is refreshing and full of surprises. I hope they learn a lesson from it! Stop making pointless cop drams that nobody watches or cares about!!!

Alien: Covenant (2017)

A brilliant prequel!

I don't know what's up with the low scores and bad reviews, but this is a great thriller/sci - fi. I'm not a big fan of Alien films, but this and Prometheus makes curious for more. In fact after watching this, I might just go back and watch the first Alien film to see the connection. People need to chill out. Ridley Scott did an excellent fleshing out these story lines to make sense of it. The development of David is ridiculous, but aren't most sci-fi over the top? This film deserves a better rating!

What the crap??!! Why does this movie even exist? I really don't understand it. Netflix should stop wasting money on such meaningless projects and make more interesting sci-fi and thrillers. This doesn't make sense at all.

It's a great show! It's very Japanese in terms of the subject matter which is focus on food. The dad is very likable, but his wife and daughter are totally snobs! They are cruel and heartless at times. They don't try to understand his dad at all! Overall it's a very charming show minus the wife and daughter!!!

Red Dot (2021)

Full of idiots!

Tried to watch this movie with an open mind by ignoring the bad reviews, but really there are No likable characters. All of them are selfish idiots making the worst decisions. The title is dumb, just because there was a scene with red dot doesn't make the film about red dot. Pretty much meaningless.

If you want to watched a thriller about people making idiotic choices in life, go ahead and watch it. It's really bad and pointless!

The Ingenuity of the Househusband (2021– )

Where's the joke and the yakuza?

I hate to compare, but if seen the cartoon, it really brings out the yakuza of the main character who is trying very hard to be a househusband. That is the core of the joke.

As for these short live action pieces, I wish they wouldn't take it so serious. The main character doesn't look or feel like a yakuza at all. He just looks like a very serious guy who is in to minimalism and cleans the house neatly. The creators of this series should of went over the top with it. They should of exaggerate the character. I want to like it, but I don't feel it.

Was about to watch this movie until I read the reviews and it's just totally awful. Still wasn't convinced by it, so I checked out the trailer and gosh it is really bad... so I'm not gonna waste my time on this. I only wondered why did Netflix even green light this. Don't they have better taste?

Just by looking at the trailer you can tell that was going to be a waste of your time type of movie. This is like the modern day straight to video type of movie that people used to rent on a weekend just to satisfy their Friday night activities. I don't know Netflix keeps releasing junks like this... it looks loud, but it's boring because of the same old stories that are being told. And why do they need to get all that money during an zombie crisis apocalypse?? They should be worried more about food and water.

I don't get all these bad reviews here... I guess there's a bunch of brilliant filmmakers and film critics that can make a masterpiece and award winning films here reviewing films....

This movie was very fun and entertaining. I never read the book nor did I knew it existed. Since everyone is complaining and comparing that the book is better, well don't! A film is a film and a book is a book.

Please go and watch the whole movie, because it will keep you guessing. I love mystery thrillers, so this is a good one to watch. Get some drinks and snacks ready and smoke a few bowels if your country or states is legal 😬

Midnight Diner is one of the most funny and touching drama. Every dish of food they introduced has got a memory and meaning connected to the character of each story. Every episode is a delight. Do you like "butter rice" with a touch of soy sauce?

Just finished Ep 1 . A bit slow, want to like it but it's kind of boring with too much drama and the story is developing very slowly. Hopefully is it going to get better, cause I kind of want to give up on it. But then again I love sci-fi, so I I'll try to stick with it and see if it really is good or not.

Thunder Force (2021)

I Fell Asleep!

I just wanted to relax and enjoy a good mindless movie, but Thunder Force turned out to be a bad drama with some over the top comedy that used every cliches there is. Fell asleep, woken up by my wife and then fell asleep again. What a waste of money in terms of turning this idea in to a movie. I don't know why Netflix keep turning out craps like this. I hope they don't smoke a joint before they go in to some production meeting, because if they did, they will laugh at anything crap idea that is pitch to them an green light it for production.

Is about life and we have ruined earth because of our greed for everything. And the astronauts are searching for a new planet for us to live. It's a very nice drama and George C. did a great job acting and directing it. Hope we get more sci fi like this

How is this even a show?? It's like magic for kids. It tries to be funny and is NOT!! Don't even waste your time on it. Why did Netflix even bother and waste their money in this? Awful!
