An exciting look at the end of the world according to Prophecy
26 September 2001
Megiddo, is a fictionalized interpretation of the End of the world according to Prophecies in Revelation, Daniel and other Books of the Bible. It is refreshing to see such a fine motion picture deal with this subject matter. The special effects are world class, and the story hold's the viewer's interest. The only thing I would have changed is the Cartoonish rendering of the Devil. It is obviously computer generated and Walt Disney-like in appearance. I would have used a more transparent, or shaddowlike Image to represent this ultimate evil force.

The end is never-the-less exciting, and will cause the viewer to think about Heaven and Hell. I recommend it to everyone, including children above the age of 10 with parental guidance.

The Fly (1958)
As a child in the theater I screamed and had bad dreams....

As a child in the theater I screamed and had bad dreams.... Then as a teenager I watched the "Fly" on TV and still Jumped back in fear at the sight of that horrible face! A few years later my friends and I watched it on TV again, but this time I turned down the sound at the scary scenes ( theorizing that the music was the cause of the fear) but even at low volume the haunting cries of "Help me...Help me" gave me the chills. A MUST SEE DF.

The 39 Steps (1935)
Exciting Spy Story that keeps you guessing till the end!
15 May 2001
Though obviously dated and tame by today's standards, Hitchcock "keeps you guessing until the end" in this black and white spy drama. The secondary plot line, (A romance) adds some interesting sexual tension as the couple is handcuffed together by the enemy agents, and subsequently pose as husband and wife while checking into the Inn.

Without nudity or gratuitous sex,it is sensual and playful. Hitchcock makes us want to see these two fall in love. >
