Il Mare (2000)

Love conquers time

This beautiful film, has a beautiful story, love set in a magical place, a house that sits on stilts, when the tide comes in the house floats on water. I cried as I watched the love play out between the two people separated by time. This truly beautiful film should be seen by as many people as possible. It has left me thinking about it for days after viewing it. I loved the ending and kept thinking of what changes there lives would now hold. A wonderful film!

Great fun!

I loved this film, the audience I was part of loved this film, and the little 7 year old girl who was with me loved this film. We all laughed at the puns, the visual humour, and the good feeling you left the cinema with when it ended. I could easily see why it was such a huge box-office success in France. I am planning on buying the DVD, so I can see it again and laugh at all the bits I missed as I was laughing so hard the first time.

Half a Chance (1998)

Such fun

This is like the French James Bond. It was such fun, yet thrilling too.The story of a girl looking for a father, finding two and so very much more. Lots of bullets and high speed car chases. I really enjoyed it.
