Iraivan (2023)
A decent thriller completely ruined by reviewers
This movie does what it sets out to do. Showcase a decent thriller. Sure there are questionable moments and scenes or even logic.
But, really people? You want to question those things when movies like Jailer, Leo, KGF etc which have far more worse logic, can be supported to massive box office successes.
You want to talk about the gore aspect of this movie, I don't think they showed anything way too much compared to any previous thrillers.
Sure this movie has issues, but it's worth a watch nonetheless. You negative reviewers really need to broaden your horizon and watch much much more movies before coming here to comment about this one.
My praises to all those who played their role well.
Monica O My Darling (2022)
Nice Story Bad Choice Of Actress
They absolutely didn't need to plant the oldies music every single damn time they got the chance to. Up to a point it became VERY IRRITATING.
The hero does his role well. But what's with Radhika Apte's role though. What the heck is she even going for? Were you trying to be sarcastic? Or just not bothered or what? Every time she talks to the hero she has this smirk on her face that just doesn't quite explain her emotions. It was very annoying! And it was no big surprise of who she actually worked for towards the end. I get it you are talented actress but you really messed your role up in this movie.
Bottom line. All actors fit into their roles. Radhika. She just sucked at playing her role!
Black Adam (2022)
6/10 For Trying
I appreciate the fact that they really tried to make this one stand out from the rest. For that, I give it 6/10. Two things got me, how Black Adam was just brutal, and also how they revealed Teth was actually the father. BUT, those were the only 2 things nice.
Sadly, other than that, it's became one of the cliche flicks that we have seen over and over again.
Yeah sure The Rock acts well in this. But he has also acted the same for every other movie in the past 10 years. I miss the old Rock. That man used to take some interesting stories. These days he's just pumping iron and acting in any movie that can shoot within the walls of greenscreen. Not much own muscle action.
Black Adam has everything every other superhero movie has and that is about it. Nothing new here. Oh oh, and also. Everyone in Kandhaq speaks with an accent, but Teth Adam is so awesome that he can immediately fluently speak American English the moment he is revived. ROFL!
Glass Onion (2022)
Disappointed Reveal
It starts off well. Picks up well. How things are unveiled, how there is drama and some silly jokes.
But from the moment the twin sister was revealed, it all started becoming rather slow and unnecessary. I appreciate the director trying to connect the dots, one scene from earlier connects to a scene later on, but it didn't really matter either. Nothing really interesting was unfolded. The best part was how the twin conveniently moved across people and places without being noticed.
Also, how Blanc just decided to leave the scene towards the end. I mean, seriously?? Isn't he the main character??!
And the final reveal was ABSOLUTELY lame. Really?? I should have been any of the other destroyers but it didn't. That, really spoiled it for me.
Beast (2022)
Enjoy It Without Questioning Logic
Don't question the logic and you will enjoy this movie. The lion's CGI is not bad, I said not bad. Didn't say it was great.
It's amazing how many breaks the lion gave Idris Elba from the time he encountered it. It's like, "no worries bro you can roam around I won't attack you for a bit".
Also unfortunately, just like most Hollywood action movies, the hero doesn't seem to get much scars on his pretty face. I mean, the lion literally mauled him...few minor scratches? LOL. Cute.
Lastly, the lion did not look mean enough nor big enough. He just looked beaten. But not scary or big. Oh well.
Nevertheless can watch it one time.
Jurassic World Dominion (2022)
Don't watch it on Imax!
It's the worst of all the Jurassic installments. They seem to have gotten confused with highlighting the biggest carnivore on land with a wafer thin plot and unthreatening creatures. Nothing is really a "wow" factor in this Dominion.
K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022)
Overrated Yet Entertaining
The problem with this franchise is the "build up". They build up on everything they can get. Every person they introduce needs a build up with grand music and wow shots.
The story, there are loopholes. There are mistakes here and there but nobody seems to bat an eye. The CGI works is quite poor for a lot of the parts. The editing is just so so.
Also, Adheera's role is such a waste. Such a villainous build up since Chapter 1 that ends up being useless. He isn't terrifying neither does he do something really impactful. Sanju bhaiya just looks uninterested in most of his scenes. Perhaps could have gotten a more terrifying looking actor instead of just roping a big name from Bollywood?
However, the music score is spot on and all the actors pull off their characters undeniably well. Hats off for that.
In the end, everyone is just mad crazy of the grandiose of this movie that they are giving it 10/10. Nobody wants to sit and talk about the breakdown of it.
Saani Kaayidham (2022)
Awsome Gruesome Thriller!!!
Absolutely amazing acting from Keerty Suresh & Selvaraghavan. They literally dived deep into the world of their respective characters and the chemistry they have is subtly explained throughout the movie.
Gruesome revenge story that does not leave you hanging or confused with its plot. Screw the critics and their comments about how the plot could be better. It doesn't need to be. It's fine as how it is.
Hats off to the director for coming up with a simple yet powerfully executed movie! Wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Multiverse of Blankness & Convenient Storytelling
It was nice to see Sam Raimi's classical touch infused in this installment but you can also see how much limitations he had.
Really expected to see appearances of more prominent characters from the multiverse. But we end up being stuck with the same familiar faces and nothing really big to talk about. Just recycled and rehashed dialogues and scenarios.
Also, suddenly Scarlett Witch is extremely powerful. But she couldn't make a dent against Thanos. Also she wants kids. Suddenly she doesn't think about Vision anymore. Convenient storytelling.
Saaho (2019)
A Big Budget Nonsense
While the story was just ok, the execution was very poor. Camera work was poor, action sequences were poor. All this despite the massive budget given. I mean, why do you even resort to below the average CGI works when you know you are making a big budget movie. The graphic works made me wanna vomit! I stopped myself 4 times watching this movie. Didn't have the stomach to finish it because the visual works was that bad.

Nice Simple Movie
Nice movie. Grant Gustin has played his role well. Don't care about the haters. If you like a feel good movie, this is one of it. Although some minor plots of details seem to be missing, they do cover overall everything that is needed.
Good job to all who were involved in making this movie.
Army of the Dead (2021)
A waste of time
When you read the passion Snyder puts into this movie you feel like oh wow. But when you actually watch it, you feel you've wasted 2hrs 30mins of your life that you can never get back. An absolute waste of film. Wonder why even Bautista agreed to act in it. Then again, when you become a renowned hollywood director, you can make any movie you want even if it can be real crappy ones. Useless movie. Pointless storytelling and Ella Purnell is so damn annoying with her bad acting and arrogantly placed emotions.
The Harder They Fall (2021)
Lead Character Should Have Been Someone Else
This movie is nice with the way it was directed and music was scored. Story was not too bad although certain parts were predictable.
However my major concern is how Jonathon Majors does not major his role at all in this movie. I mean seriously, they guy looks like he is about to cry every 10mins or so with his facial expressions. Sighs, they really should have found a better lead character. His portrayal of Nat Love really is a turn off with his constant look of wanting to cry.
Annaatthe (2021)
Thiruppachi Remake & Attempt To Make Thalaivar Look Younger And Younger
I guess it has crossed the mind of everyone who has watched this story that it is very much similar to Thiruppachi. Seems like Siva was running out of ideas by the time he was done with Ajith and their "quattro" venture.
This is a nice movie on a nutshell but if you break the nutshell then you start seeing the problems in it. I mean a brother character? And Nayanthara really? You still wanna play his love interest? Come on people.
Why can't you just accept your age and do movies accordingly Thalaivaa? We won't stop supporting you any lesser, if that is what you are worried about.
I really think Tamil cinema needs to rethink how they play out their stories especially when big stars are involved in it. Thailavar seems desperate to be taking any kind of stories off lately. Hope he really chooses well for his next.
Sweet Girl (2021)
Really Not Worth Your Time
Nothing interesting or new here to see. Sweet girl more? More like sour girl. The only thing holding this movie together was Jason and the moment I realized it was actually the daughter doing everything I just skipped to the end. I mean come on, she doesn't even look menacing to be donning the role of a vengeful daughter. So lame so boring. Is there one better movie Jason has acted in? Putting aside Aquaman.
Joji (2021)
It's Good But Can Be Better
Story feels like it's going somewhere but really doesn't. The titular character portrayed by FF is amazing. He nails it! However story is lacking some powerful impacts.
Love and Monsters (2020)
Nice
A very decent, nicely done movie. Dylan is just great portraying his titular role and the rest of the cast fill in the blanks well. Good story and something slightly different for a change.
My only question was, if the entire world went into hiding, why weren't the so many monsters when he traveled to go find Aimee? Seems like the whole world purposely went into hiding coz the amount of monsters he encountered didn't seem like much. Lol.
Irul (2021)
Starts Out Decently Then...
Starts out decently and it pick ups well with the suspense and all, but from the second half of the movie it starts to get less interesting (boring). The final reveal wasn't something to WOW either. Average FF movie.
