Late Night with the Devil (2023)
Lookup Bohemian Grove! Movie is somewhat of a true story!
If you look up Bohemian Grove. It's a real place and it's the private club that the elites gather in and allegedly do satanic rituals. It's a real place but who knows what goes on in there. They show it exactly as it is in the movie. Supposedly that the elites (politicians, celebs, athletes, royals, super successful businessmen, etc) gather there and sacrifice things (read about it) so they can become more powerful and wealthy.
The story of the movie that this guy wanted fame and success so he sacrificed his wife in order to attain that! He did that at this club! Crazy they showed you that in a movie form where they're hiding in plain sight what could be really going on in that place!
Some extra theatrics for show but I'm shocked they showed the real place with its alleged story behind it in a movie form! Going down the rabbit hole!
A Murder at the End of the World (2023)
Great series. Unique and not basic
The series is wonderful! I am gifted with excellent taste in series and this is one of the best I've seen in a long time. The characters, the writing, plot and storyline. It kept me guessing at every turn and for someone who instantly solves a good mystery I couldn't see the ending of this one. The show is deep so what seemed like the obvious answer was very doubtful that it is. On top of everything else the fact that it speaks of what AI is and the fears of what if could become. It's modern techy murder mystery romantic dramatic and scary all in one.... Watching it felt like a wonderful ride.
Maestro (2023)
Bradley is a very overrated actor!
I never understood why he took such big leading roles when there are actors like Jake Gyllenhaal and Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver who can do a much better job. To focus on this movie particularly, he lacks the charisma that naturally makes him Bernstein. Charm and charisma cannot be taught and cannot be imitated I guess! He's very stiff and comes off arrogant as a I'm a lead so I'm automatically great. He doesn't seem to really feel his character in the movie and others. He comes off as an actor and not the real character. He is directing the movie so might as well be the main actor too! PASS! The movie industry is in the toilet since 2020.
Elvis (2022)
Something weak and lacking
Kinda shallow, cute and a simple movie. Expected a deeper portrayal and a stronger dialog for Butler. He is amazing though and could've been squeezed for more if given a better script and storyline.
X (2022)
More funny than scary
I was laughing at how ridiculous it is. How did this even make it to production. Cheesy and very low budget. Don't waste your money, it's a joke. The sex scenes are stupid and not even that R.
The Batman (2022)
Pattinson is a good actor but not Batman
The movie is too long. Pattinson didn't really do it for me. He looked emo with almost sad puppy teary eyes most of the movie. I didn't like the long all over his face hair again made him look emo. He didn't do it for me as the Batman. Worth seeing tho. Since Hollywood movies are just terrible now it's better than a lot in the past couple of years.
Nightmare Alley (2021)
Bradley Cooper is handsome but boring
This man is great to look at but never good enough to lead a big picture. He's flat in this one and I believe the movie has potential but if it were someone else as a lead with more depth and talent.
You (2018)
Whiny love ruined the season! Why is she in it!
Love is whiny bratty and an insecure mess. A lot of focus on her in this season making it painful to watch. Joe should've remained the primary focus of the show. This actress is always acting the same in all her characters, crying, whiny and annoying. I hope they kill her character by the next season or the show is over!
Dune (2021)
Weak!!
I'm all about these types of movies but this was weak. Cast is weak. Story weak. Presentation and production super weak. Waste of money and I feel like Hollywood is kinda done.
