The film still focuses on the choices, reactions and emotions of the characters in extreme circumstances. Although the story is indeed very drama, Lou Ye's film language still gives it a strange charm, and the portrayal of the sexual relationship in crisis is particularly impresive. In addition, Qin Hao contributed a very impressive and real man image of cheating and playing with women's feelings.

The producer or director of this movie once complained that he didn't understand why this brillant plot with extraordinary art design and Holloywood stars failed in terms of box office. The answer: the pointless 2hour30min length.
