The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror XXXIII (2022)
Better than last year
I think that this was a pretty well done Treehouse of Horror episode. It definitely wasn't their best work, but an improvement from last year. There was no opening, which is a change from other years, but that was fine with me. The Pookadook segment was pretty good. Some funny parts, mostly by Homer, and it had me at the edge of my seat, and, it was honestly a little scary. I thought that was a strong segment. The next one, the Death Note parody, I thought was well done, not as good as the last one, with a much more serious tone, but still a good story, and I thought the change of art style was cool, anime isn't really my thing but I imagine a select amount of fans really liked that. The last segment showed The Simpsons being in a universe of the characters at theme parks. I thought that was the strongest segment, with the funniest moments and best plot, and it was original as well. I also liked the call back to Marge and the Monorail. I thought that was a very good segment. Overall, this was a good year for Treehouse of Horror, and I hope this show goes on forever!
The Simpsons: Habeas Tortoise (2022)
Funny take on current topics
I really enjoyed this episode. Sometimes the show can not hit the mark when it try's to take on a current topic, but I think they hit the mark on this one. There were some really funny jokes, especially in the opening, and the couch gag was cool, I'm glad they started doing those again. Overall, this was a very solid episodes, with funny, relatable jokes relating to conspiracy theorists. Don't let the current rating fool you (as I am rating this the rating is a 4.3), I got here as the episode ended, so likely these people didn't watch the episode and are just hating on the current episodes and seasons.
The Simpsons: A Serious Flanders: Part 2 (2021)
Even better then part 1!
Part 1 was an amazing episode, one of the best in years! But this was just as amazing, maybe even better! The writing was great, and so was the plot, the simpsons are on a role this season! This might be the best 2 part episode since who shot Mr. Burns! I strongly recommend that you give this a try, because you will most likely love it!
The Simpsons: A Serious Flanders (2021)
I rushed here to write a review
Right as the episode ended, I rushed here to write a review, this is the best episode made in a while! It allows lots of side characters to come back, and has a wonderful plot to it! If your not a fan of modern Simpsons, I still suggest you give it a try, because you very well might like it!
The Simpsons: The Wayz We Were (2021)
I loved it!!!
One of the best episodes in modern years! Plenty of laughs, Maya was back, who was a great character! I hope she is in it more now that she is engaged with Moe! Nothing good ever happens to Moe, so I am glad for a change!!!
The Simpsons: Three Dreams Denied (2020)
Pretty Solid Episode
I think that this was a solid episode. My favorite Storyline was Comic book guy at Comic-Con. I loved the Paul Rudd Cameo and the Dinner for Schmucks joke (And I definitely agree with Comic book guy on that one!). My second favorite storyline was the one where Bart became a voice over actor. I loved the references their and I thought it was funny because Bart didn't know that he was voicing a girl! Then my least favorite segment was with Lisa and Blake. That one was interesting but a little bit confusing. Overall, I think that this was a good simpsons episode. I think that it was a great episode for this era of the simpsons and this show will be running forever if they can keep making episodes like this!
Bob's Burgers: Heartbreak Hotel-oween (2020)
Solid episode
I think that this was a very solid episode. I do not think that it was as funny as the other Halloween episodes on animation domination but I still think it was funny. I liked the story with Louise trying to get revenge, Bob donating blood, and the conjur. I thought that the jokes were very funny and the plot was very interesting, and I loved the Spartacus reference. Overall, this was a very solid episode.
The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror XXXI (2020)
Best Treehouse of horror in a while!
This was just an all around great episode. Like all of the treehouse of horrors, it started with a hilarious opening with the election and added to the running gag of hans moleman dieing. He died right after saying the hilarious line "That's what I get for voting for Kanye!". Then after the opening there was the first segment Toy Gory, which was hilarious and dark at the same time. After that first segment I had the song "You put a death in me" stuck in my head! Then it was into the Homerverse which in my opinion was the weakest one but it was still great. There were multiple jokes like with Mr Burns and Hansel and Gretel. It had a good story and a funny ending. I also liked the Hannah-Barbera reference. The last segment was very strong. It was called Be nine Rewind. It was very funny and I thought that it was cool how it kept repeating. Overall, I think that this was a great episode. Unlike most modern simpsons episodes, there was not one joke that fell flat the whole episode. This shows is gonna go forever if they keep making episodes like this!
Bless the Harts: Dead Mall (2020)
Great episode
Season 2 was the first season I started watching this show but I have to say I am impressed with it. This episode was the best one that I have seen, there was tons of action and suspense. This had tons of surprises instead of just blood and gore. The voice acting and story was great. Same with the jokes. This was just an all around great episode.
The Simpsons: Now Museum, Now You Don't (2020)
Good episode
This episode was not great, but it was pretty good. A nice storyline and good pacing of the story. Some good jokes especially the Bernie Sanders joke. I think that it was clever too. Not the best of the season, but still a pretty good episode!
The Simpsons: Undercover Burns (2020)
One Of The Best SImpsons episodes in a while!
This was a great episode. It had a nice plot with Mr. Burns going undercover to see what everybody thinks about him. The Couch Gag was great. Most of the jokes were great, like the Moe's drive thru joke. And also the part while Burns was in the bathroom. The only bad joke in my opinion was the part where Bart wanted to go to school. That joke was not good but other then that it was a great episode with great references. This is my favorite show on the block! Please keep watching this show! It is doing a lot better sense season 30 and 29. Now a days all Simpsons episodes are either a hit or miss and this one was a hit!
