Finally talking about this??
20 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This young lady is clearly a victim of this teacher, but please don't pass this show off as her finally talking about the ordeal. I have seen numerous documentaries about this where she has spoken out.

Having said this, the show does an adequate job of showing the viewers the perpetrator, the police who conducted the investigation and the federal prosecutor. A lot of the interview with the teacher raised a lot of questions for the viewer and gave the assumption he was not being truthful. We know now, after they were on the run for several weeks, that he was not being truthful. Sad how he can cry about this now.

Very hard movie to watch
25 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was very difficult to watch for a number of reasons, Aside from the storyline, the camera was all over the place. It made me nauseous watching it. Switching gears, the fact that it was about a child, her drug addict mother and the homeless population made it quite painful to watch. The acting was spot on and the storyline was as real as it gets. I had to keep reminding myself it was just a movie . Prepare your heart before you watch this. The sadness I feel right now is overwhelming. This movie is not for everyone but honestly, I would have given it more stars if it hadn't been for the shaky cameras.

Bad...just bad!!!
24 August 2022
First of all, they should have gotten actors to do this movie. It would probably have been better. Secondly, it should be unlawful to say that a movie is based on a true story when it clearly is not. I think if I were part of the Brown or Goldman families, there would be a lawsuit, which would probably be useless because I doubt the movie made enough to even cover attorney fees. And thirdly, this was nothing resembling a good movie. I only watched it until the end just to see how much more ridiculous it could get. I have never written a bad review before, but I am angry that I wasted my time with this one.

Kinda enjoyed it
9 March 2022
I don't get the negative reviews. It was a lot better than other shows I have seen on Netflix. I thought the storyline was great, even though it's kind of been done before. It was well cast and the acting was acceptable. Maybe it could have been done in less episodes but I think it would have taken away from the dramatic effect. Overall, it was okay good.

I so wanted to like this movie.
31 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I read the book and was hoping the movie would be different. I wanted to experience the 90 Minutes in Heaven that this minister lived as he died. The movie, as well as the book, was about his accident and Recovery. It's a beautiful story, but the title is very deceptive. If you want to watch a movie about a man who gives up and eventually fights back to live, then watch this one. However, if you want to watch a movie about a man spending 90 Minutes in Heaven, then this one is a hard pass.

Incredibly fun to watch!
10 June 2021
I was not sure what to expect, but I enjoyed watching it so very much. The actors were amazing, the character development was on point, and the storyline was well done. There are several different stories to follow but you wait for a connection, which you can see coming, but not in a bad way. The animations and the talking stuffed animals were ridiculously bad, but it didn't seem to take away from the series. I watched episode 1 with my grandkids and was planning on watching the series with them. Whoops! I did not mean to watch the whole first season in one night, and yet here I am. A must-see!

The story of overcoming obstacles for the blind to use seeing eye dogs, and of the first seeing eye dog and the relationship with her handler
7 October 2006
What a beautiful, loving movie! It's the story of a blind man's attempt to get legislation passed to allow seeing eye dogs into public places, like restaurants and offices--things that we, today, just take for granted. It has many sub-plots as well, though, like the relationship between Morris and his parents and between him and his fiancé. My favorite is the relationship that develops between Morris and Buddy. It shows the work that goes into training a dog to work with the blind, and makes us appreciate what these dogs are capable of. It's a "feel-good" movie--one that everyone who has ever loved a dog would appreciate.
