Bom yeoreum gaeul gyeoul geurigo bom (2003)
M a s t e r p i e c e . . .
It's about life. A movie so beautiful exactly because of its simplicity.
It reflects the burden of religions and beliefs on human life.
What we believe is what drags us to the ground (or the bottom of a river ) and in order to get rid of it we must climb WITH it to a point were we can see far and beyond that. From there we will be able to see the world with a different perspective and observe as mankind repeats itself through the very same mistakes that we did...
PS.
Do not see this movie on a small screen with poor visibility and with outside fuss/background noise. It will eliminate all your necessary attention.
There Will Be Blood (2007)
A Bunuellisque abrupt ending in an excellent political-philosophical movie
An ode to neoliberalism.
The whole movie reeks from head to toe with two pillars of neoliberal ideology.
1st : There is no such thing as a free meal.
2nd: You snooze , you loose (explicitly said in the last minute by it's main character)
Now there are a lot of other notions the misanthropist leading character emits such as racism towards orphans and everyone who is not successful like him, but no more spoilers. Enjoy.
Manbiki kazoku (2018)
Masterpiece
Not enough words in the english language to describe this...
Describes the family institution, society as an institution, and the consequences of these two in what we call their continuity.
The main idea that in a society, we should be able to choose our family many times explicitly expressed in this movie. This idea produces many other implications which can change the fabric of society. But in the real world, this is not the case. In the real world the above institutions reproduce themselves in a orderly and strict way and people pertain to this way of life because of the selfish gene which is very powerful in human beings...
The Office (2005)
this is invaluable...
No words for this show...
Most of the times its just crude humour and there are some moments where you merely grasp the wit of the writers. But when you do, it's so sublime that it wins your heart instantly...
Sameblod (2016)
11/10 at least...
Among the top films I have ever seen.
It regards so many and so deep issues...
You can find this thematology in many countries.. but this one is so well depicted in this movie.
Foxtrot (2017)

Dark Waters (2019)
a definetely must see movie
This is corporate America and its practices. Even if someone claims that this is no longer the case, history must be told and the numbers must be presented to all public view. Along with Dupont there are also some "jewels" of the industry that are mentioned. These include Exxon and Union Carbide. Now if one makes a simple google search about these last two companies, one may find the Exxon Valdez oil spill , and Union Carbide Bhopal disaster in India. These are the biggest industrial non radioactive disasters up to today...
Stowaway (2021)
not a review
A 10 not because it deserves a 10byt because there are a lot of 1.
What is a grave problem in the scriptis that you can have a stowaway in the spacecraft , stuck in the ship's hull and after lift off he didn't turn into minced meat.
I mean, after all the spacesuits and all the specifically designed seats for this procedure and you still see a lot of rocking and shaking during lift-off and the phase after witch involves a big acceleration. I mean the scientist literally threw up because of the 5g acceleration and he was strapped tight and comfortably in his nice chair and his bulletproof-like spacesuit. And the stowaway survives this like a mother? Come on people!!
Breaking Bad: Ozymandias (2013)
Of course 10/10 even 6 years after I first watched it
Hands down , the best episode of the best series on TV.
