Atlanta: Sinterklaas Is Coming to Town (2022)
Atlanta at its best
SPOILERS:
Everything about this ep is great. Showing the racist history of some of the European traditions like black pete. Van finding herself and having a character arc instead of being just a romantic interest for Earn. The Tupac scene was terrifyingly hilarious. Donald is a genius. Couldn't of asked for more. I like how Earn is actually becoming a better manager slightly. The guy beating up the kid in black face thinkings it's Earn was the perfect ending for this masterpiece of a follow up to a such a dark opening episode. Rip devonte hart and the rest of the hart family who episode 1 was based.
Enterprice (2017)
Funny Show
I love Kayode's previous work with the hood documentary but I wasn't too sure about this show at first. BOI was I wrong, it's weirdddd but jokes. Honestly like the UK equivalent of Atlanta in terms of the weird humour it has, it's not as intricate as Atlanta but doesn't need to be because it works perfectly as it is. It's funny and light hearted with a good story & a great writer in Kayode. Big w of a show. Give it a watch for sure, I liked it a lot. Only downside is that the seasons are short and there is only two lmfao.
The Shrink Next Door (2021)
I like it.
The reviews are really mixed but I am three episodes in and I am enjoying it. It is nice to see Will taking on a different role. It is very well written and well shot especially. I am intrigued to see where the show is going. Rudd is playing his role. Definitely worth a watch. D.
