Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: Furious Fu (2021)
Fu's back baby
This episode was... Interesting, it brought Master Fu and Marianne back; it presented to us Su-han, the original guardian; and it answered some questions, like will Marinette forget Chat Noir? And unfortunately the answer is yes.
I loved the highlight that they gave on the Kwamis, especially Barkk, we got to know a lot more about their personalities; Master Fu coming back was a lot of fun; the battle was great; the animation is good; Su-Han seems to have a lot of potential for the series; and, yes, Marinette will have her memory deleted it, let's cry
This episode presented us to a new important character and a lot of new information, but I don't know why, it's not as good as others, it's just a okay, not a wow, or a great episode but is still good; and Furious Fu design is meh, that's literally all.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: Psycomedian (2022)
What every filler episode should be
For a filler episode this one is preety good, the humour is great, it added a new character and an evolution of characters, so it wasn't really useless, (unlike a Simple episode I know), and we got a lot of Adrien/Chat screen time
I absolutely love Psychomedian's design, omg, It's so cool; his powers are great; Ladybug/Marinette/Tikki being mad is really funny; Adrienette scenes are actually good, it made me ship them more to be honest; Chat Noir vison was shown to us like LB's, when she's trying to solve her Lucky Charm; the Animations is gorgeous, the lighting is just as good as the same as SAMG, I didn't know that was possible since we are talking about the same studio that brought Guiltrip to us; Chat Noir being not affected by the villain, but yes Ladybug was everything to me; Ladybug's angry facial expressions when she's de-evilizing the Akuma, summoning her Lucky Charm, and using the Miraculous Ladybug were priceless
I don't think there is actually something I didn't like in this episode, I mean, It's a filler episode, is not like a Wishmaker episode, stil a very good episode to relax from the other ones, a good pause, unlike other filler episode from this season, don't watch Simpleman if you still want the Adrienette scenes good.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: Rocketear (2021)
Nino's Playlist on Spotify: SOUR on loop
I LOVED this episode, it touched on the relationship of Alya and Nino; and Ladybug and Chat noir's, Adrien's depression, Chat Noir has more screen time and I absolutely love the fact that they are showing how Alya is adjusting to her new paper in the team.
The few things that I didn't liked, are how Alya confronts Marinette in relation to never lie to her boyfriend, like, girl, Marinette spend her relationship with Luka lying to him, it probably is a sensitive topic to her; Rocketear's design is okay?; and the fact that Nino REVEALED to Adrien his and Alya's identity, and that Alya ALSO REVEALED to Nino that she is Rena Furtive, I'm gonna recap just so you can see it how messed up this is:
Adrien/Chat Noir knows Carapace and Rena Rouge's identity but Marinette/Ladybug, Alya/Rena Rouge, and Nino/Carapace don't know he knows, except for Nino that knows that Adrien knows, BUT HE DOES NOT KNOW THAT CHAT KNOWS, but Marinette/Ladybug also doesn't know that Nino now knows that Alya is Rena Furtive, and Chat Noir doesn't even have knowledge of Rena Furtive, so he still thinks that Alya is Rena Rouge, can you see how this is going?
Everything else is great: Both Rena Furtive designs are awesome; the animation is good; I love the way they're constructing Adrien's depression arc; Alyno relationship just showed us what Lukanette could have been, perfect; the battle; everything.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: Optigami (2021)
SHADOWMOTH HAS A BRAIN?
This episode is by far one of the best episodes season 4 has brought to us, comparing to previous ones, I think only Truth, Lies, Gang of Secrets, Psychomedian(it doesn't reach the others but its still very good), Gabriel Agreste are on It's level, it focused on the plot and let people around the globe feeling dumb next to Gabriel Agreste.
I loved that Style Queen and Mayura hade returned, they're one of my favorite villains; LadyBee's design is gorgeous, absolutely stunning; the animation is great; the plot; Nathalie being the villain with brain; Shadowmoth's plan was genious, I felt dumb seeing it in action; Optigami is cute; Sentimonsters can use Miraculous; Adrien's expressions arc just keeps going; everything
I just didn't like Marinette being all clumsy around Adrien just because he's Adrien; the fact that the heroes wanted to transform after seeing the Optigami; the didn't told us how can Kwamis talk throughout the phone; and the fact that Mari gave Alya the miraculous permanently, like after what happened in the tower, was the moment for you to don't gave her more the miraculous, but okay.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: Ephemeral (2021)
I mean... Yeah
Okay, let's start by the good things of the episode: Cosmobug and Astrocat transformation is finnaly here and is absolutely gorgeous, it's by far one of my favorite transformations; Shadows Noir's outfit is what it what's suposed to be, terrifying but good and gives us the information that they can fuse more than 2 miraculous; Luka and Marinete relationship just went better, even tho is not romantic (cries in Lukanette Stan), and they didn't make Gabriel do the same thing they did in Cat Blanc, like, "Oh, let me throw my SON across all Paris" (#bestdad), no they make him talk with Adrien, make him understand his point, AND NOT ALMOST KILL HIM; Sass uses his power and it was just awesome; Joane d'Arc was a Ladybug, just yes and the Animations is good
Now the bad parts... Oh God: Everything went very fast, we can't even process what is happening, it's like this: Bob Roth akumatized - Every hero - No Cat - Gabriel touches his RING (WHY GOD) - Moolak defeated thanks to Viperion, Polymouse, Carapace, Vesperia and a FIRETRUCK - Su-han reappears and want's Ladybug to know Cat's identity - Ladybug and Viperion make a plan - Adrien reveals and the plan fails - Marinete is being tormented because she knows his identity - Marinete reveals - Adrinette canon - Gabriel finds out that Adrien is Cat Noite - Adrien finds his mother corpse - Adrien discovers that Gabriel is ShadowMoth - Adrien akumatized after Gabriel touches his RING (WHY GOD) - ShadowNoir appears and KILLS Marinete - Marinete reveals herself to Luka (because she doesn't know he knows yet) - Sass uses his powers - No one remembers anything - Chaos - Astrocat and Cosmobug transformation - they save the day - Cat sadder - Su-han accepts Ladybug decision of not knowing Cat's identity - End cards, like IT'S TO MUCH.
Moolak's design is horrible; the blushing is SO BAD, like Gorizilla was an episode with BEAUTIFUL BLUSHING here... No; Adrien doesn't have pyjamas (HE SLEEPS WITH SHOES); nothing really happens unlike in Cat Blanc and Oblivio, they were still what if episodes but still add something to the story, Ephemeral design is a grape; Adrien suddenly fell in love with Marinete, like we didn't even saw him fell in love it was just: It's Marinette, I'm gonna date her; It's easily discardable and forgetable.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: Simpleman (2021)
What happened here?
Is there actually someone who likes this episode?
Everything that could went bad, IT WENT: the animation is horrible, omg the Adrinette scene are just garbage; Marinette development was forgotten and Marinette of season 1 returned, season 4 Marinette would never try to sabotage Adrien's photoshot; NOTHING HAPPENS; the battle is literaly NOTHING; the episode is focused on 5 of the most annoying characters ever: Roland, Manon, Chris, Ella and Etta; it feels like they lauched the episode now just because Rolland only appeared on season 3.
The only good thing that came from this episode is the foreshadowing: After beating Simpleman, Ladybug says: "I didn't know such Simple power could be the most dangerous" but after that Cat Noir says: "My power is really simple".
Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles (2021)
