Independence Day: Resurgence (2016)
Seriously?
No, just no. There is NO possibility of getting our Independence back if aliens should ever desire to take it away from us in the first place. They fight with much more advanced weapons. There would literally be no fight as the aliens would simply kill us all in a moment if they so wished. Am I saying anything you didn't already know?
Evil (2019)
The brats from hell ruin it
I think I would enjoy this show if not for the four bratty screaming girls. I understand the reasoning behind having them do what they do...essentially being very annoying in all their scenes. The main protagonist of the show stated something about low-level - but constant - irritation being the most effective tool in his arsenal. If you are immune to teen-age girls noisily arguing all at once then this show is probably worth the watch. Otherwise...
The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch (2020)
This Show Has HUGE Potential
I give tons of respect to all the people involved with this show. It covers a subject that tends to be difficult to understand...even with a scientific approach. And that's only because science hasn't fully caught up to this subject-matter yet. I'm so grateful that the scientists on this show are giving this mystery their best attempt knowing they are up against something way beyond us at the moment. I hope to see this show for many more years!

A Journey Into The Soul
This is a spiritual documentary involving people of varied religious backgrounds. What they have in common is the desire to be in alignment with their deepest spiritual selves as they go about their daily existence. One of the "mystics" as referred to by narrator Peter Coyote made a point about our focus throughout the day and how that affects our inner well-being...our true sense of peace. I thought that point was especially illuminating as I know I have a habit of doing something spiritual for an hour perhaps and then letting the rest of my day go to more selfish pursuits.
There was also a point made about serving others as a way to stay centered in ones true self. One suggested helping people be less fearful. Another focused on the inner wealth of peace, compassion, and generosity. Whatever their message or approach, each sought the same inner destination of love. Really knowing yourself or getting completely honest with yourself was the popular method of attaining this inner love state.
I've had my own spiritual experiences and was both relieved and inspired to hear similar stories of spiritual seeing, if you will, from the mystics in this documentary. It was very affirming that way.
