I might be wrong and don't know about Botany

OK. I haven't been there yet and don't understand Botany and ecosystem how it works. But i believe there are Germs that break your waste and manure to make soil more potent etc. I believe the movie is working with some hypothesis about the red planet in terms of Ecosystem or may be I am out of touch with news that Mars had living organisms...Hunidity and fire in the chamber has no affect on the hightech equipment that were sent on mars... he has a greenhouse right in middle of his pad with Mars durt and soil, fire going on for water and humidity in that greenhouse high, which he gladly open on first sprout... man this is sciency of what? PS: Potato is a tough plant will grow even on just Saw Dust, mostly on saw dust so i give that one when he was planting it.

Season 2 and FU accent

I literally hated 2 things overall mostly in season 2: 1. Spacey turning back and giving running commentary.. I would want to see it as a show not narration.. those dialogues can be conveyed in many ways, like in his thoughts just like Dexter... 2. What the... bloody accent he is doing in season02... He is trying too hard in his accent kills the whole character.. I would give rating 9 for Season 01, but Season02 i would say average of 3. Now whole House of Cards Fanatics will go ballistic on me for saying what everyone is thinking... Season 01 was way far better than Season02.. There are lots of things open and so many character coming in without proper introduction or details like the Friend of President who is doing bird hunting... i mean is lacking some flow there.. FU is blunt character but stop that accent you are irritating

Found a Diamond by a fluke

The kid Dan, cracked me up when he says to Mrs. Sharma "Then, lets both run away to India"... HAHA Jokes aside, but its wonderful drama and i came by a fluke trying to search parts of old series. It might be clichéd to some people but I think the drama is enjoyable, I am not from Wales or from UK but I can imagine the old town or county, thought process of people, herd mentality etc... This fits right in with the era of 1960, not xenophobia as such but unwilling to accept something thats not local etc.... but Bhaskar and Ayesha plays pretty good role... Season 2 is really a cracker, as the character builds up from season - 1. I highly recommend, this as a perfect family drama with no bad language, swearing or odd scenes, a nice family drama to watch with kids.

Great job, continue the series if you can...

Kai Po Che (2013)

Till I read your review i was reading the title of this movie as Koi Po Che.. means "Is someone asking" so got curious after watching movie, that title did not make sense.. :) but thanks for the brief, it was really good... good job. Now this IMDb asks me to write 10 lines... and i don't have words... so i am going to just blah blah to fill in the blanks.. But frankly, the movie was good with non famous stars, couldn't have been better... It seemed to me like a Art film than commercial.. and it has touched lot of aspects of Gujarat and Gujaratis... Thepla & other dishes... I could distinctly smell of the food when the the actor says that and the atmosphere of temple in Gujarat, how it is there.. The first five mins gets you really grounded, i should say

An end title card reads: "Traps and snares are illegal in Tasmania"

Really? not allowed... Bear Gryls came to Aus and did the same who is there to stop him or some explorer who is doing purely for entertainment under name of Education, science etc... Such laws should be enforced very hard and punitively ... stop this atrocities... go country or outback, traps and snares are used for foxes.. did that mean Bear claw is not allowed? I think the End credit is a joke too, if these folks were serious, it should be both at the start and at the end of the movie - not somewhere like a disclaimer notice written in 1 pt font on smoking pack...

Tribute to M Shelly

Forced to Survive in the real world, a man-made creature losses his Child- like innocence and transforms into an adult with bitterness, lust, vengeance - and deadly reasoning.

This movie is a great tribute to Mary Shelly's novel. I read the novel when i was a kid, this movie just great, Robert DN plays the awesome monster, who longs for worldly things like normal human after being artificially created - a possible reference to Genetic engineering gone to waste like Terminator seeds (by Monsanto).

other references or rip-off made by Time Burton Frankweenie in 1984 i think and then again animation in 2013

Leo Tolstoy's stolen theme

Little Girls Wiser than Man... I think that was a good read from Leo Tolstoy which i must have read when i was kid.. This movie is something similar on same lines with ditto characters and people... parents squabble over kids fight and kids in the end play again together.. while parents carry the burden of the fight/night. anyway.. nothing new but funny the way things are depicted, but its stretched out and actors with their performance keeps us interested but nothing much about duologue's.. kinda confusion event in all.. Its a very low cost movie. Not sure which person or people will take this kind of insult hurled at each other, which is shown throughout the movie.. Also, show parents are superficial don't really care about their own parents or kids. I think the characters are confused, they don't even know why they are married or have married at first place

Life of Pi (2012)

Summary of the whole Drama

I suppose, In the end whole of life becomes act of Letting Go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.\

I think he is living everyday with that thing in his heart as a Son and as a friend to Richard Parker. I personally believe it was a slow movie, pictured in age old India, talking a bit here and there about faith (but not questioning religion), but a different perspective to the approach of Goodbyes, what we perceive as reality v/s what is one that you will believe. I wish I was not Pi or suffer to any of his situation be it with RParker or with his family or his issues with faith, the ordeal, watching one by one his companion go in the ship by brutal animal and lastly never had to say goodbye... its quite a load one carries.

I took the movie "Cowboys and Aliens" on the face and enjoyed it and some pretty weird and confusing scenes still a joy to watch..

1. This movie is quite terrible. Sometimes The bad Queen sucks beauty out of beautiful women, later she is sulking in horrid appearance when she could very well suck beauty out of other women... 2. No idea what was the reference to his brother and her, when he was dying.. 3. Why was his brother, who was a sissy suddenly become so brave and fight even the huntsman... 4. Last but not the least, shouldn't the Snow White was a good heart, clean hearted angel who touched everything turned beautiful; this character from initially lacked substance sincerity (except the scene about troll) and not to mention to avenge her parents death and reclaim the throne she even encourages people to wage a war and lastly rides the horse in lead and fights like a true fighter... i thought snow white hated war and death and blood - as initially portrayed ...she was blood thirsty I am now scared of Snow White in general...

The Experiment (2010)

A flop German remake

Its a flop Hollywood remake of German movie Das Experiment. As usual both Broody and Forest were great with their acting, but i wish i hadn't seen German movie to give bias review of this movie. This is a proof of how Hollywood some times spoils the remake of good foreign films. For first timers watching this movie comes as treat - as it talks about human psychology and question the evolution from animal to humans. The Hollywood narrated whole movie with the concept of larger animal, or powerful animal prey on weaker ones. But, actually the whole idea of the movie is about "how power corrupts" - bring in people from same background, friends, or siblings; once given a power it tends to corrupt, which is powerfully demonstrated in this experiment. pretty interesting book "black box"

Malabar Princess (2004)

Amazing movie

Hi, I have seen this movie and it impresses me from all the degrees and angles. The beauty of direction, acting of the kid (Jules) and the grand father; the school teacher his dad etc...

I was really touched by the entire movie; all scenes are nicely crafted. Ahh when the horse dies.... "I want to cry... You are not the only one, kid".

hmm the kids also talk Bin Laden.. and then how they sneak in the chopper to the mountain :)

and many more small scene makes the film a great piece of work.

The Butterfly (I) (2002)

A Class movie...

I saw the movie and totally engrossed in the movie. The innocence of Elsa and the stern old man. You can make out the Director was not apt in direction but my view is he directed good; in addition to that the script, character and story line was just class. The innocence of Elsa was just cute; when she says that his name was wrongly registered with missing i in Elsa. And the old man caring for the girl in-spite of she spoiling the party to find find the Butterfly, Isabel.

The ending sequence was most rewarding in addition to the innocent talks in the whole movie between the two, when the old man is being taken away by Police.

And the ending song...I would love to watch over the movie again and again... God Bless for presenting such a good movie. Thank you. Regards, Mukesh Pandya - India.
