Friendship
5 September 2023
To be an adventurous and complicated boy to meet a romanticist and sensible boy.

A lovely tale about friendship, the green scenarios of a small village in japan, the blue ocean and the meaning to go see dolphins in Boomerang Island.

It's not a complicated story, but it achieves this childhood nostalgia vibe. The dynamics of each of the boys families are different, but they still have parents who loved them and supported them no matter of the faults they have.

The writer and the drawer. I loved the insight of how they growed up and the meaning behind of the mackerel can, still I felt there wasn't like a loottt of meaning about it, but it does serves as the element of introduction to the story and the symbolism it had.

Great job, to this debutante filmmaker, will check out his upcoming works! And a good job casting to wonderful and talenteous child actors!

Besides, that there is a lot of yelling and the words f##k and cousin. The food looks incredible S1 was GREAt, the building of everything and the construction of the characters really let us go inside about their traumas and who they are, we can really feel them as real people.

S2 was I don't know I felt like how was all getting together I mean I bingee watch it in two days, but idknow it felt a little bit empty with all the Claire personage, I didn't like her, was she supposed to be likeable?

I just LOVEE Richie and Fak for they are hilarious.

I don't know whats Carmen problem, I mean horrible.

S2EP6 was CRAZY!!!

U can identify with her, ans that's what matters

To this film be released in 2002, probably was a big hug for so many women, a film needed to show that we can accept ourselves and body.

Because, just like the mother in the film, it's like many older women think, sadly, because of the brain washin media, male validation and root of misandry. *mostly, hispanic women

If you are a 18 mexican teenager, you probably understand and see some ways of thinking in the film, oldfashioned but realistic.*personally me, I saw it & laughed about it, this film is for a specific viewer, so If u didn't like it, it's bz is not for you

Me as a teenager, I felt her, what a lot films sometimes missed is that there are periods of life that we have,as girls or woman have a complicated relationship with our mothers.

And to see this movie, was just really nice, to see her embrace herself and never back to what she values and thinks.
