JLO - Haters

If the JLO haters would put aside their issues with her in real life one could see that this was a good movie! People say; it's boring, JLO is all about hair and make-up blah blah..come on people stop trying to see actors as real life people. They are working! And Ms Lopez did a great job! There should be more female action out there! I would recommend this movie. Again people need to stop hating and see the movie separate from her real life actions. But i'm sure that is going to be hard to do in this day and age since most people cannot separate their negative feelings from those that would require to give a more accurate review. Oh and for those that say it's boring or it's been done before come on how many missin impossible are there? Fast and furious; how many are there?? Please as if there is anything original out there anymore.

Medium (2005–2011)

Really Love It

I really liked this show. i stumbled across it because i completed ghost whisperer and hulu suggested this one. i know it's rather dated but the story lines were good and the actors were really good! except the attitude, unreasonable anger and all around hypocrisy of Allision Dubois .. :) i know some may not agree but she was ridiculous half the time. otherwise this is an awesome show and i'm seriously almost done with all the seasons.

Gang Related (2014)

2 episodes in and it's good!

Very hard to put Mexican characters on TV and make them believable ... Even better that Curtis C is part of the cast (of course he's not real :) but rocks his role) .. Personally I watch TV and/or read a book to get away from real life so if there are inconsistencies and as long as they are not TOO far off the mark then it's OK ... This is a good show so far .. Lots of action, different character types, villains ... Yea it pretty much has it all .... 'Ryan' is trying to keep his 'familia' happy which makes him unhappy .. He second guesses himself which also leads to trouble .. He's trying to balance both sides of the law and it's a bumpy road.... Try it out I don't think you'll be disappointed .

Malibu Country (2012–2013)

The show is good :)

I never watched Reba's first show, Reba! I'm glad I didn't because according to everyone I've talked to so far, Malibu Country is good but not as good as Reba. Of course this is the same whenever there is a follow up show, movie or whatever the case may be for a character/actor.

I've watched the show and it's good. I agree that right now it's new and some jokes fall flat others do not. But Lily, Jai and Reba are very good and so are the kids. I guess I could do without the neighbor but other than that, I'll keep watching. I really like Jai, he adds some zest to some scenes and the fact that he is of Latin heritage is a plus for me.

The Wedding Date (2005)

Debra can pull it off

was able to catch this movie yesterday. i like Debra messing from will and grace and wasn't really sure if she could carry a movie (since she really hasn't had a lead in a while). Anyway, i think she did a great job and i didn't think of her as grace at all while watching the moving. Dermot Mulroney was quite and not to mention easy on the eyes, what a hottie. the movie started out a bit slow but had good one liners that were funny and kept your eyes on the screen. Sarah Parish was hilarious and kept you wondering what she was going to say next. i agree that i was not particularly sure why the weeding took place where it did and just stop trying to figure it out since the scenery was awesome. all in all i'm a sucker for romantic comedies so i say an 8 out of 10.

Showgirls (1995)

not as bad as one would think!

granted the movie was a bit racey for it's time but it had a good plot and the heroin had enough mystery surrounding her that the movie kept you until the end. however, being someone that does NOT expect reality when going to the movies i felt that the end could have been better, perhaps a 'happily ever after' type ending. otherwise the movie was good.

Maid in Manhattan (2002)

I got a chance to view this movie opening night. I want to say that it is another romance novel brought to the big screen. J-Lo and Ralph Finnes really clicked and had you believe they were in love. This movie isn't for the disbelieving, no, rather for the one who wants confirmation that love still exists even if it isn't "for real".
