Everything Sucks! (2018)

I seen some previews of this show ,ads, and right then i knew it should be good , i mean.. its retro 90s.. its teens aka so called coming of age ,tho i never understood why its called that way.. like they dont have age before that or what?.. Anyway , im shocked that this show didnt have season two, it was very different, very very fast pased, too fast for my taste but i guess it was done on purpuse cause its almost like a comedy show rather then classing high/school drama things, so its not a dull moment in this one for sure, good acting, some things i wouldnt expect from an American show in this day and age (very xxx rated language by the teens ect) some hm.. not really realistic things aka the ill take the school bus and drive you somewhere to show you something.. but ya..they show has everything you liked in Stranger Things eccept the theme is different ,the ending was/is dying for season two .. it has nice videography scenes..and as the show goes on it gets more and more interesting ,so sad it didnt get a praise it deserved.

O my lord..i can understand and i agree.. they cant make movies like before.. no discussion about it,but this movie hooked me cause i saw ,and by pure accident lol, a scene where the kid is in the pool and that hand comes after him.. so as i saw it has an old school vibe to it and thats what made me watch it.

I dont understand why ppl complain so much here about it .. its a good idea, pretty good acting ,very good videography i really enjoyed that.

All in all i made a the call and i kinda guessed what i saw ,so im overall happy about it. For example i liked it WAY WAY more then Halloween Ends ...and i LOVE Halloween (the old school tho).

Hard to start this so .. lets go.. First of all i find it interesting how others do their rews, its like all the same, i dont understand that ...anyway , im not into new movies at all..i like old ones, better actors, better directors, and call it more freedom in them ,meaning you dont have to watch your mouth, or if something is moral enough ,legal ect .. i mean who gets to decide whats all of that anyway and with what rights??!?

So anyway , by pure accident i saw a clip of this on Instagram, and not even a movie trailer just a small clip.. i already then loved the videography ,i knew that this aint something some one just made for insta, but that its professionaly done, so i knew its from a movie, then i had the task to find out what movie .. ectect, i got to check the storyline of it and liked it so, i had videography that is VERY important for me in a movie, and i liked to story so , i was ok lets do it.

I generally love movies that are on the edge or over of the usual vanila things that are triggering ,provocating in every sense.

This movie aps passed the test ! Amazing story amazing settings , and acting that made the movie look more like a documentary real life thing.

The Dad was fantastic. I learned in the comments that its based on hes real life experiences ,so no wonder he did such an impressive preformance.

Otis the kid was nothing shy of it ! Brilliant emotions , stunning to act in a role as this for someone that ..well in reality wouldnt be able to understand the role he as to play.

Also was involved in some.. to say as i said before, provocative situations.

Really realistic looking movie, real vibey/moody, and as i like details, ..well usually in movies cause its a movie and is made for ppl to watch, natrually to correspondences are always made in , i talk u listen u talk i listen so the audience can clearly hear every dialog.

In this movie on many occasions ,you can clearly hear while the Dad is talking, Otis is as well....makes it look sooooo much more real ,cause thats the way it is in reality.

Same was with some other ppl in the movie as well.

Really impressed by everything, and looking back to how i even found out about it makes it even more valuable to me.

Probably the top 3 movies i saw made in 21th cent, since i said, i dont like new movies.

OK, how to start .. i noticed this movie as a suggestion when i was writing a review for Les Textiles. I noticed its a short movie so i was like ..naa.. but since there arent many nudist movies made, i just figured what the hell why not.. Note that i dont understand French so that might effect my perception of the movie.

Anyhow, the movie starts off with the mom undressing , so that was a big LOL right away, and all in all the movie started gooofy just as i learned it is.

The kid dressed like hes going to a ski resort not a nudist camp (that looked badass ,love the old school vibe) so that was a LOL too.

All up untill he met that girl and he started to be more confy with naked, that to me is almost like the part two of the movie.

What i mean is that till that time the movie was like a comedy, but from that point on , the movie took a real strange twist.

Im not sure if that was on purpuse or not, but it was very odd to me.

That girl right from the start acted really oddly , had strange moves, ect .. then the mushroom part, that was also a wth moment to me, it actually made me think that the girl wasnt even real , and that the boy was just imagining things... Then later on when the boy touches hes moms boobs in the tent, (ok i know, its a French movie haha) but yea.. and then at the end, the girl, acting like a creep ?!? Having that evilish kinda simply .. creepy look on her face, but then again , they waved to each other.. Im very confused about the my vision of the "second part" of the movie.

All in all , i've seen ... Rambo 6 .. lasty i've seen Halloween Ends, both dissapointed me and wasnt thinking about them for a minute after i got done with them, but this one still makes me wonder , wth was the second part of the movie about?? Maybe its my not knowing French to blame .i dont know.

Anyway, still good to know they can make a movie like this , of course in Europe, ..or they did anyway 2009 .. and even have it show on TV, many Americans fake moralists would be outraged lol to see something like this.

Im not sure why so many ppl dont like this movie ..??

1st of all the fact thats its based on real events makes it that more special, 2nd, yes,its a movie, not a documentary , so one cant make it last for 10 hours, gotta cut stuff, and yeah.. add one or two movie things that dont have much to do with reality.

Other then that, the acting was fantastic, the vibe of the movie trully brings emotions that you are actually watching something that really happened.

And i must not forget to mention the stunning videography , done to perfection. I honestly cant believe i found out about this movie by accident and that it wasnt bigger then it is.

Its like this ...

Few years ago, i went out to watch Rambo 6 and Terminator. Dark Faith.. They were ok movies , fact is our heroes are getting real old now .. and movies are running out of ideads anyway.. So with that kind of mindset i went in to see Top Gun 2 .. and i have to say , that Top Gun blows away both of the movies mentioned!

It had better acting, better producing, the scenes were done with more pation , and overall vibes are just simply better.

The story is pretty good too. The jet fights and all were damn awesomely done !! The fact that this movie is a vibe even tho ive seen part one back in the days just says how pretty good they done here.

Maybe the young viewers it will be even better.

Now it aint better then part 1 .. but still better then i tought it would be.

What can i say.. i only seen this movie now.. i never knew what it was about ,and wow im SO GLAD i saw it,its deffo one the fav list of all the ones i saw.

Interestingly i never knew it was made in the 90s cause it looks so damn good for the 70s era, very well done.

I cant believe all the comments i see here about NO PLOT no this no what, it was never like this when i was in school ect ... guys who the F cares?!?!?

1st of all im from Europe, so movies as this that are free minded, eventho this one is on the conservative side of it for my taste from what i used to, being from Europe anyway, it dont matter if this was or wasnt happening to u when u were a schoolkid in USA in the 70s , this movie is FUN ,and there IS a plot!

The plot is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL ! And everything that that brings ,and here we can see all different types of views, the aholes,the badasses, the dorks, the young teens getting into stuff for the first time ,ect , i just love it ! The vibes, the craziness , randomness, the music, the videography... fantastic! You really have to be a hardcore bummperson to not enjoy movies like this that literally make you feel young while watching it.

Holly crap!!! I watched 2 episodes and deleted it.

BY FAR this has to be the worst thing ive watched in my life.

I just cannot get the ppl that give 10/10 for this ..i dont have even the right word how to call it.. have u ever seen a real TV show if u can find something like this good quality???

Horrible scenarios, overly fake situations ,every 2nd word is swearing, every 2nd scene is something overy visually disgusting.

And if someone can really relate to this, then Houston, ..u have a REAL problem with American kids ..speaking of kids.. another horrible aspect .."teens" being played by 25yos ..

OK ..this movie with out any doubts is the best scifi movie ever made. AMAZING acting, VERY realistic, and that realistic tone sets it appart from any other scifi movie. Its in many ways almost like a documentary its sooo goodly done. Had a huge impact on me when i was a kid when i saw it, i think that realness made it stick in my mind foverer. The part where hes riding his car up to the hill, with the fake dead animals beside the road.. woo .. that scene was stuck in my head for years back then. They dont make movies anymore like in the 20th cent .. today its all about stupid CGI ,no class, no acting, no effort.

Id say that this is the most magical movie i have ever seen! Im not sure when was it when i saw it, id say late teens perhaps, but it still took me away like non other fiction movie. It even then actually scared me at some parts i was that taken away , not many movies can do that with me. I loved the music, the set, the idea, everything was badass. Of course, at that time Jennifer was a wow as well. Amazingly good and content movie to watch, its hard even to find the word for it.

This is one of those u grew up with!! It was just like being in the show in those days! By far the best Aussies have made ,of course, i love BH90210 as well., ,but these two shows are totaly different, while BH is showing a tipical American way of things where everything is shiny and $$$$$ , HH shows more reality ,of how life actually really is for 99% of the ppl. Ill for sure never forget this show,and i always prefer the old days cause everything was better then, and i always say how everything sucks today, from music movies tv shows, ppl in general .. im kinda actually happy its like that cause that way ,things like HH and such get to be even more special. The only new thing thats making me have those old feelings is Stranger Things ... nothing else.

ps i forgot to say the only one thing i dont like about both HH and BH90210 .. its that the actors in both were cc 10 years older then the roles they were playing ,and thats one thing that REALLY bothers me in shows and movies .. ,..now , luckily it didnt bother me back in the days

As always, sertan movies draw attention of people, for various reasons... Some for the great acting some for the scenery, some for the "names" of the actors in it, some for a sexy chick in it .. some for the theme.. Well this one is deffo drawing attention cause of the theme. Having that in mind , it waaaas a brave movie to make, spec considering it was an American movie, as we all know how hypocrite Americans are about things. In Europe, you'd see movies like this back in the days as a total normal thing. Sadly ,we are becoming more and more America ,, Having that in mind ,i "love" the comments of other ppl that say ddamnn horrible movie.. this n that .. ,well wake up ppl ,you have NO IDEA what your kids actually do , yes YOUR kid, the one that looks like an angel to you! Lol .. funny thing is, you arent any better then they are ,but still you want to ban them everything... When you see a movie like this, ppl that react badly are those , that wouldnt wanna see their kid in something like this, so they arent mad at the movie, they are scared of what can actually happen , and in 50% it actually does, even if you think it isnt.

Another of those movies made in the 70s ,pretty special era for movies, alots of things were made then that would never be allowed today ,and thats kinda odd, considering how "tolerant" todays society claims to be ,not to mention that this was just a movie, but regardless ,movie or not.

This movie .. i tell you .. everytime i wanna feel like a teen again , i just pop this one up hehe. This movie is the definition of the 80s ,GREAT amazing music, real Cali vibe, if there was a time travel id pop here in no time! I dont even know how many times i've seen this one, and i always watch it with the same passion. Corey is a "good guy" while Tommy is a badass hahah ,btw i love Robert Russler, i dunno why but he had the chance to be a true movie star back in the days, sad that it never happened, hes a great actor. All in all ,i love this movie, without any doubts one of my top 10 of all times.

Well.. seem few comments, and i have to say that i dont understand ppl that this verison as same as i dont understand ppl that love it and then give it like 6/10 or 7/10 ...

I've seen this in the 90s ,and ive seen the new verison as well. Its really hard to say that the new is better when u grew up with this one. Now. i havent read the book nor do i plan to,but i heard theres a part in the book that both movies missed to show lol .. maybe if it was made in the 70s or if ppl wouldnt freak out about everything in this day and age, it would have made it on the big screen ..anyhow, i dont wanna talk about the plot it self .. makes no sence to do that ,theres tons of trailers on youtube for any1 that hasnt seen it yet.

But i do wanna talk about the difference between the old and the new .. i with out any doubts prefer the old one. 1.waaaaaaay better actors 2.way better soundtrack and movie music in general 3.the fact that the story is set in the 60s if a recon, fits it way better then the 80s in the new one 4.just the overall feeling, the acting, the scenery the music, the looks of the actors, the way they talk, everything beats the new one everything, it has a soul that the new movies of today cant ever have, u can tell its made with love and passion , it really brings u the overall feeling of Derry it self and what the teens are going trough ,the movie is more realistic not in the sence that it can be real lol but in the sence of how its made, it looks more real ,more human

Overall a great movie that is for sure hard to beat ,without any doubts the best horror movie where kids are involved as the main caracters.

I like this movie, it has all sorts of stuff in it, a nice dose of humor, and pretty good acting ,i would say not like acting acting but more on the realistic side of acting, and thats always nice to see ,makes it look more real. I aint no nudie so i wouldnt know really but was so funny to me when the lady was meeting one of the owners of the appartment, and when she asked if its a good place to raise kids, that dude said its a great place lol yet its a swinger community ,wonder what was the message of that.

This is one of those movies ,where nothing special is happening and then theres that one scene where your jaws drop lol.. and you're like WOW did i really saw what i just saw? Amazing how in those days people were more free and less judging then now , its almost like we are going backwards rather then forward with being more free. That special part of the movie ,in my eyes in that one little thing people always seem to somehow forget, that no matter how cute and adorable or innocent your or whos ever child may look , when they come to thay age, they arent really much different then you (the adult). Its hard to accept that fact ,but thats the way it is. Yes, one could say ,well they could have made that part be less obvious, we'd still get it, .. yes true, they could have, but as then and specially now, there are soo many disgusting murders and whatnot in todays movies, but somehow that is accepted and normal ,even when your 8yo is watching it, you dont mind it? Just think about it.. what is more normal to see or know about , that movie part or butchering movies. I loved the JMJ soundtracks in it ,and alos that airal part where you can see Stockholm from the choppa together with JMJ's music is a perfect fit! As far as acting goes, well.. i've seen better but its a pass. As far as the plot goes, i'd do it differently some parts of the movie were too fast , and needed to be more slow, while others that were slow, could have been more faster.

Again this is one of those movies that one either loves or literally hates it cause of the subject. The acting was pretty good, seen better tho.. The set is AMAZING !!! Totaly have that vibe of those times, not that i would know how it really was lol .. but it has that thing, just has. Also in many ways it shows how prostitution ,or as today they love to call it, escorting or sex work ... was so much different, it was more human ,more down to earth , not slutty ,whoresih ,glamour like it is today. Simply it had CLASS,as the borthels as the prostitutes. As far as Brooke goes aka Violet, she was amazing, prolly her best movie ever and thats so strange consideting it was done so so long ago, but the way she acted ,her speach, facial expressions, and how she didnt seem botered at all doing and acting a kid prostitute ,is someting to be admired about for sure. As a matter a fact i bet that if this was remade 10 times with nowadays 12yo actors, non would be able to do such a great job as Brooke did! Not to say that theres no way a movie like this would be ever made in this day and age sadly , and specially not with a real 12yo playing a 12yo whore. And of course , her beauty ,cuteness ,adds to it as well, shes with out a doubt one of the prettiest child actors EVER ,if not THE. Of course, there will be people that will play the Virgin Mary here and act like they wanna puke or something , being disgusted by a movie like this and the fact that a 12yo plays a whore, and there are nude scenes of her as well. Well, if a 20yo would play a 12yo that would look funny as hell ,nor it would be able to bring the reality of it. Secondly , i dont understand whats the big deal about seing a naked 12yo?? I mean like , you guys dont have kids? You never seen them naked? You dont know that there are actually nudist families where everyone is naked including the kids and they go out and see 1000 of others and are being seen? I just dont get all the freaking out about it ... besides, i challenge everyone with those morals that has a 12yo dau or son , to check their Instagram acc ..just dont get schocked. At the end of the day , on Instagram today , you can find hundreds of young girl models even younger then 10!!! that model , some 12-13yo ,well... almost nude ,some in very very provocative clothing and poses, all done by managing companies with the amen of the parents of course, they have 10s and 100s of thousands of followers, some of the cooments are hey sexy , hey hottie , no one seemz to be bothered by that tho? They all making big $ of it. Some people even leave comments that would be like, well.. maybe you should wait with those kind of pictures, and then they get bashed by that 13yo saying to those adult persons that they are too convservative lol .. So please stop being hypocrites , this was just a movie, yes she was naked yes she played a whore ,key word ,played , yes she was exploited in those times in general , but it was just her! but these models im talking about are REAL ,and there are thousands of them ,yet no one says anything about that?? Maybe cause the same ppl that bash on this movie are too oldish now and they know even have a clue what kind of stuff is out there on social media ,because they dont use that , and when you have a 13yo telling you that you are too conservative ,you must really think twice. Specially if you are from the States, cause you guys freak too much about stuff like this,yet you are all about diversity and acceptance.

Ok , this movie is one of those that you will not watch over and over and over again. Its kinda goofy , has it all, fantasy ,taboo, action,romance, and AMAZING scenery to see! One of the best parts of the movie is the scenery. As far as the plot and acting goes, well.. i aint too impressed, its not bad but too much fantasy in it, maybe it would look way better if it was made to be more realistic. As far as the taboo part goes, well... someone already said it, age doesnt really show maturity. Age is like a road sight that says , next city is in 100 miles, it doesnt and cannot say how much time you'll need to get there, that is up to you how fast you can/wanna drive. And im always glad i mean was,cause today its rare that they make a 13yo caracter be played by a real 13yo,when theres a "mature" subject in the movie,.. well at least thats how it is in Hollywood now ... too bad. I totaly love it when the actors are really the age they are playing. What to say about Brooke? .. trully one of a kind. All in all , not so well acted movie, with a tabooish story in it ,and a great scenery all around.

This is for sure one of the most realistic movies i have ever seen ! Great stuff from the 70s , VERY GOOD acting , and simply its almost as if watching a documentary rather then a Hollywood movie.

This is my first reviw ever so .. :) All i wanna say basicly that when a movie is based on real event, it cannot be bad ,cannot go wrong. Pretty good acting ,a great story , and a realistic feal. Love it.
