Colors (1988)
PTSD from a time that once again is here
Ever lived in LA in the 90's? No? Watch this movie. Suddenly, you know and can see the parallels from today. I think this is a mandatory movie to show your child if you're a minority to make them understand why and how fear is the greatest enemy of society. It's important to come together as nation but its important to remember what atrocities that have happened and still happen when people in positions of power use their power for their selfish reasons.
Lean Like a Cholo (2010)
Its fun and entertaining for what it is
By no means is this movie... good. It's not. It's actually really bad to the point that it circles back to being fun... only if you are from the hood and actually seen fools act this way and believe me, there are and they do, could you possibly even enjoy this. I'd recommend watching this with some plant based treats and vitamins and possibly with some birria tacos and a couple of Tecates on the side. It's fun.. as long as you don't take entertainment like this too seriously and don't have any expectations whatsoever at all. The extra's do be fine af tho.
