Jirisan (2021)

Compelling Story

Beautifully filmed, mother nature at her cruel worst and lovely best. Gorgeous scenery makes it a breath of fresh air over all the city dramas we watch. You feel like you are on a retreat while roughing it in dangerous but breathtakingly beautiful rugged natural surroundings.

The mysterious story was very interesting. The actors, including the support cast did a great job.

It did tend to be draggy in places where the director took us back over old territory to revisit a story part through new eyes. For that reason it does not get full marks.

This is a bit goofy and silly and has every genre rolled into a ball of laughs! Something for everyone!

A strong female lead, please excuse the pun, this drama brings out your inner child!

Awakening same gender attraction with a cast of adorably sweet and pretty young men. Throw in a bit of a triangle for jealousy. Who could ask for more?

A great sound track? Yup! It has that as well!

One of the best Taiwanese romances I have seen.

Kingone, is a very talented actor. His is a most sensitive portrayal of a handicaped man who is wrestling with guilt and depression.

The soundtrack was beautiful.

This is the Korean Drama I will recommend to my family and friends who have never watched Korean drama. It will captivate you right from the beginning!

Full of heart and humor and morals of the story foundation for a healthy psyche!

Do you need something that is appropriate for the kiddies? This is it.

It is a very cute and sweet Idol Drama with pretty people and a little bit of romance and I promise that it will not raise your anxiety levels at all.

It is a happy little drama but watch it fully awake or you just might find yourself napping involuntarily.

Well Worth Your Time

This will be more than twenty well spent hours of your life.

It seems a first to be just another post Prince Sado in the rice box costume piece, however, don't let the subject matter fool you, you have not seen this story before. It will even have you laughing out loud for many episodes! But warning here it will get more serious so be prepared with tissues toward the end!

I can not say enough good about this drama. It will knock your socks right off! You will fall in love with the ML Lee Joon Gi!

You want thrilling? This is the fulfillment of your every desire to be awed and will fill your watching anxiety to the max!

Great writing. Great directing. Great acting. Do not watch it alone!

A Cute Little Web Drama

This is a very happy and upbeat little drama. It is definitely worth a watch. Not long enough to be draggy, it is fun.

The young actors did well with the material given. The story was cute.

This little romance was very well done. Unlike many Japanese BL drama It had some very relatable and interesting characters, they were definitely not cookie cutter, and had a bit of depth for such a short story.

A GLORIOUSLY ABSURD FARCE

Be ready to throw things in desparate loathing at those characters you love to hate! (I suggest socks so as not to harm your screen). Looking for a serious down to earth drama? Go elsewhere. This ludicrous piece is totally for fun.

Please don't dis the actors for doing the phenomenal job of portraying well the malicious and conniving and just aweful humans in this soapiest of soaps. We all hate those characters for good reason and one of them is the actors are doing great at their craft!

The writer will leave no trope unturned, this is ridiculously funny. Just when you think to yourself at any place in the story,"Finally, finally, this is getting back on track and going the way I want it to"... well, forget it! Got a character you think is kind of okay? Hah, don't even try to make a connection. The writer pulls the rug out from under you every single time you wish to have even a little bit of satisfaction!

A rollicking great satire! Move away quickly if you can not take human beings being exposed in all their wretched flaws!
