Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)
Mind Blowing!
I don't know what else to say other that it was mind blowing. I never read the comics and each and every twists and turns were amazing for me. I am not sure if I can say that this is the best super hero movie I have ever seen (and I am a huge super hero movies fan - until Infinity Wars and subsequent Spider Man movies alone).
The only issue with this movie is how it ends. It ends on a cliff hanger, like Infinity Wars, but kind of feels like sudden and abrupt. But it is forgivable. Now, we will just have to wait for the next part to be released. I have seen this twice in theatres and would waste my broadband happily and heavily when it is released in OTT platforms.
Yaanai Mugathaan (2023)
Too. Damn. Slow. Unnecessarily.
This movie is actually garbage. Even for a fantasy movie, in which we shouldn't ask for logic and ask any questions, there is no explanation of most of the things that happen. Like why suddenly things happen. What actually was the hero's issue with money. Etc. But my issue is, this movie is just too damn slow. The second half is absolutely unwatchable. Hardly anything happens and there is just tooooooooo many slow motions and slow shots and scenes dragging like hell for no reason at all.
Was it supposed to be a comedy movie? Was it supposed to be a spiritual movie? I don't know what the director thought/wanted the movie to be. If the director didn't have content, he could have made it a 1.5 hours movie or even 1 hour 15 mins movie. There is no need to forcibly inject songs which were unbearable and drag the movie like "javvu muttai". Seriously, please do yourself a favour and save 2 hours of your time as this movie has 0 substance, 0 originality, and 0 creativity. Huge fan of Yogi Babu and Thilak, but this movie is a big let down and even they can't save this junk movie.
Blockbuster (2022)
Very Very Painful to Watch
After watching B99 twice back to back, I wanted something to help me from the B99 withdrawal effects and saw this trailer which said something like it is from B99 makers or something and I immediately jumped into it. But damn it was very bad. I hardly laughed 10 times in the entire 10 episodes. It was painfully predictable and cliche. Timmy was the only likeable character. Amy Santiago.. sorry Eliza is just Amy, but married to a wrong guy. Other characters were not memorable at all. Timmy's friend is annoying and not likeable to all. By the end of the serial, I couldn't care less for what would happen between Timmy and Eliza. May be I had huge expectation coming from B99, but this is just an uninspiring, cliched, unfunny painful serial to watch. I watched all 10 episodes to see if it will get better, but nope. Three stars for Timmy and 0 stars for everything else.
The Man from Toronto (2022)
Watch Central Intelligence once again instead of watching this
I am big fan of Kevin Hart, but man, this movie sucks. It makes no sense at all and I know this is a comedy movie and we shouldn't expect logic, but even for a comedy movie, it is unbearably illogical. There are some fancy action sequences, but doesn't justify the movie. There are a very few scenes which are funny. Do yourself a favor and skip this movie. You can watch Central Intelligence (if you had already watched it, watch it again) as this is just a copy of that movie which is just extremely worse than that.
The Good Place (2016)
One of the best comedy shows I have seen
What more to say? Just finished the finale and I am just feeling at peace. I am so happy that they didn't want to push it another season and finished it at the exact moment to leave the audience at total peace.
The acting, the writing and everything about this show is top notch. Definitely recommend this to every one. I don't want to spoil anything, but the season finale is one of the heaviest finale of a comedy show I have ever seen. So sad, so funny, and so satisfying bittersweet end. Just for the finale, this show should get a lot of awards.
Do yourself a favor and watch the full show!

Alex in Wonderland (2019)
Mind Blowing Performance
The show is completely mind blowing. Alex is so talented that he can impress with his extra-ordinary singing and playing music instruments at the same time make us laugh. The variety he shows in his singing is simply mind blowing. Some of his comments/imagination on songs are extremely hilarious (like his comment on "Karnan"). Eagerly waiting for what he comes up with next.
