The Fall Guy (2024)
Started off good got overwhelming in the middle. Finished good.
Looong movie. Thought it was only 1hr 30... But no anywho it has a great budget
Loved how the movie within a movie thing was like mad max
Its releasing a month before mad max will. Weird but cool shoutput
The product placements esp the taylor swift song was cringe.
Movie is a emotional rollercoaster but the time the first hour sets.
I think for a young 15yr old me it would have been fun but as a real adult now it was simply overwhelming the love story and dialogue was cool as the humor too but i just found the emotional rollercoaster too much. Maybe im dead inside. But yeah. Also didnt help the oldies in my crowd didnt really laugh or cackle but there were genuinely funny moments in film.
Film seems like a love letter to stuntmen, men and humans. Worth a watch but the middle can be overwhelming despite the high wuality budget and tight scenes.
Clever writing and gotchas however didnt save the messy middle much. At the end just felt like nothing truly special but im glsd i watched it. Waiting to see what others think.
Both leads were really solid. Will edit.
Demetrius and the Gladiators (1954)
Cant believe it but there was a time where sequals didnt suck!
This film got me good its just amazing the woman is phenomenal in her sin. Let me just gloat about this film for a good minute. Its got so much charm its got humor its got romance. And its got a decent dose of reality thrown in. Its human in ways modern films tend to gloss over. Its raw its honest and its complete. I cant believe this film is from the 50s! It holds up way better than expected. Some of the fighting choreogrpahy was a bit ... Interesting or lacking at certain points you could tell hilaripusly how they messed up but other than that this film was engaging and quite stunning. Honestly if you just like movies from this era you'll find something here! They dont make em like this anymore! Its just pure entertainment. This and the robe which i saw days before are some of the best films that have anything to do with the word christian. Ill stand by that. These films are classics and for me this one is on par and just as rewatchable as the robe. Im just surprised i was not let down at all by this film.
And its so amazing to see the range of emotions played out on screen by the leads.. They dont hold back.. Unlike modern films of today that feel strangely one note or even monotone by comparison.
Black Mirror: Nosedive (2016)
On pure intrigue, enjoyment and acting i was engaged entirely
That ending was amazing. Left me wishing i had another 30mins to watch... :((
If youre joe average youll enjoy it just like me!
The girl is uncannily good at keeping the viewer.engaged. Sensational acting. Shes a beauty too.. This episode just paced very well very intriguing good direction good use of
This episode is just perfect as any good black mirrior.episode personally i found it a cut above due to her acting chops.
Wouldve loved to see the brother more.on screen his contrast was too good but the ending theyve chosen regardless elevated this to a whole nother level. This is a 10/10 for me but yall can watch it blind and make your own minds up. I will stand by my high rating.
Vacancy 2: The First Cut (2008)
It's like a AMC TV movie in quality(sad), but has the magic of the first Vacancy film
If this film had the overall polish/quality of the first it'd be surely a 8/10 film at minimum.
But why only a 6/10? Well I think some areas of the film were a little too dark and it's just somehow not on par with the first film, but still worth a cheap watch if you're a fan of the first! Only found some of the dialogue can be better and delivered much better but it sorts itself out if you push through it.
Would I watch it again? You know it's not as bad as I thought it would be. First few mins and I was sure I'd hate how cheap looking n feeling it was.. but within 20mins it started gaining my interest then halfway through the film I was ready to watch it to the end. It delivered and didn't make guessing things easy! So great.
Give it a shot, may not be exactly on par with the first film, but it's decent for a tv movie. It actually surprised me, much like the first film. Except I think the first film is more scary and more, polished and rewatchable, since everywhere the quality is just higher there personally! That film was like a 8.7/10
But this film, they did the best with the budget they had here! It's not a boring film either and totally subverts what you think will happen, much like the first film. Greatful I watched both back to back. First one is just better IMO but this ain't a slouch either. If you, loved the first, then give this a try!
Ultimately whilst I liked this one and think they smartly did well given the lower budget, it's just not as memorable as the first for me.
All that said the fact they didn't entirely disappoint with this (being a tv movie budget etc), makes me wish for a Vacancy 3, I'd like to see it. Since watching this was better use of my time than watching filler episodes of "the walking dead seasons 7-9 etc"
Deadgirl (2008)
You know what's really weird? The film is a good time but now (after the dust settled) I like it even more. Pretty good. 9.1/10
If you're a thinker like me... It's got a great vibe. The film is smart and makes smart usage of all things it needs to. Not really sure what else to say, the films just an adventure and a good time for those into these types of films! Give it a shot. For me to explain why would take the enjoyment out of it for me, go read other reviews!. I really like this film. I didn't think I would like it so much, but after seeing it, it's been more and more on my mind. It's both a bold and original take on your typical "zombie" teen film. I can't decide if this film is a 8/10 or a 9/10. The ending absolutely fascinated me. Perfect ending. One so horrific, that I find realistic. This will probably not be the same case for you as many MANY seem to not like the ending, but me, I can't find a better one, unless it was even more sexed up. But keep an open mind when going in.
This was recommended on a reddit thread as being "underrated film that I like". And I do agree it's clever and underrated. Dying to rewatch this as much as I'm dying to rewatch Dune part 1 and dune part 2.
Dune: Part Two (2024)
My 8/10 rating might be a little on the low side here's why.
The pacing and love story was a bit annoying for me. Particularly the scenes which felt like you're watching a teen love story at times. Retrospectively, since I watched this a week or so ago, they still do annoy me and it hurt's the rewatch I reckon. I feel as though the scenes are just filler for what's to come. It does make sense but I don't know that having the love story, and having so many scenes dedicated to it is really necessary for the audience to understand their relationship. There are better ways of doing this.
For me to give this film a 10/10 there would need to be better, more visual and thought provoking interest in the scenes where they are with each other, for the first half of the film it feels like it's just about two teens in love. The entire first half of dune can feel a little slim on content because of the focus on these two. The last half makes up for it, to be clear. No doubt the lack of dialog at times is a great thing..But I still wish... anywho. 8/10.
Will do a rewatch. The beauty of this film is it feels like you're in the cinemas for ages. Halfway through I didn't want to ever leave the cinema. Feels like a 5 hour film, but you get out and it's only been 3 hours! Amazing. My other gripes however is sometimes the camera cuts a little earlier than expected for a particular scene in the first half of the film. I think this was intentional rather than lazy editing, but who knows. It's a clever use of the budget to both have slim content in first half of the film then cut scenes early and to make the viewer feel like the story is always moving... you think "oh wait we're not done looking here" then it's already cut to the next scene. It's just different. I kind of like it.
Shameless (2011)
From the First season I've seen, mother of god this is good..
I have no idea where this show has been all my life. It is truly shameless. And not afraid of representing all manner of situations and the absurdities of life as realistically as a tv show possibly can. It doesn't shy away, but as the name and R18+ rating suggests, it does the material justice. It's downright hilarious many times. Many times. In fact, so hilarious that I often find myself looking for more scenes I've already seen.. I don't normally do that with movies let alone Tv shows! This show is like crack cocaine (not that I've done any hard drugs, I haven't!)
Not to rant for too long but if you like the first episode, Keep watching till the first season and second season ends.. that's my recommendation. I fully intend to watch All 11 seasons. Right now I'm blazing through the show as fast as humanly possible. This is especially a fun show to watch with uptight/conservative parents..
If you can get them hooked in somewhere in the first season, you've got a great show to watch together. Why aren't other shows like this?
To put it simply. I can't think of a TV show that better illustrates the depths of the human condition than this. When a character goes through something, it's done justice in a realistic manner and doesn't seem to annoy me whatsoever, the quality of the acting is high/accurate as is the script. Thank you for reading, go watch this masterpiece!
The Hustle (2019)
I didn't get to watch it fully as it was on TV for NYE, but i'd love to rewatch in full!
Channel 9 before the NYE fireworks/whatever was on telly here this was on, I saw the train scenes for like 2mins and was hooked. Seriously, this film was like a breath of fresh air (from someone who's used to crappy action films). It's just fun, the jokes and acting is amazing as a simple escape from reality.
Could not stop watching hathaways curves/accent and rebel's facial expressions. That's the reason enough to watch and have a laugh. Fun for the whole family but not really a overly wholesome film, it's just really well done from the bits in the last 1/2 I saw. No idea if it's really an 8/10 film but I reckon it deserves at least a 7/10, so when I finally rewatch this hilarious comedy I'll update the review... anywho if you're looking for a light comedy with no emotional rollercoasters, this is it!
Dumb Money (2023)
I cannot understate the cringe of going to the cinemas to see some redditor being praised for using reddit
Just got back from the cinemas.. I think a 5/10 rating is fair. Honestly this movie lacked a lot of substance. It was just dumb. Acted well, directed well, but totally cringe. It glossess over the real consequences of gambling, stress, the sleepless nights, it really just likes to pretend that gambling is overall pretty fun, and losing money is fun, like no, it's not. Not like that at all.
So redditors are cool again, they're so hip right? Better than investment bankers! Beep. Wrong. This movie wants you to think the following: redditors are so cool, that anyone can make money, and that anyone can get rich on the stock market if they just go with the flow.
The movie convinces you of that, it convinces you that dangerously well, it promotes gambling, and it ushers in the next generation of impressionable youth, into the next, most sinster version of gambling..
3 stars for effort, 4 stars for acting and 2 stars for entertainment.
There were only two scenes that were funny, the "hello" part where she gets fingerbanged and the obnoxiously trashy music played at the rich upscale party.
This story needed to be told, but this is like the most forgettable movie ever. Nothing of value was watched, no fantastic visuals, hell I'd say this movie looked more like tv news than anything else, like a new, bland formula of film. Maybe that's what seth rogen was forced to do with his script. I expected a slightly better film than what we got, but I won't blame seth for that, yet.
The movie is only worth watching if your local cinema has a $5 ticket, and the seats are packed with drunk carefree lunatics, then you'll get your moneys worth as you devolve into comparing dick sizes with strangers to amp up the experience. In every other cinema, the movie is worse than your local fast food joint, and cringe. So cringe.
Northern Exposure (1990)
By the 4th episode, I was glued to the screen. Not many places you can find this show anymore.. But should you find it? YES
Genuinely good character writing. Deals with complex issues quite well, it's hard to find flaws in such a tight show. Would I recommend you watch it? Yes. Comparing this show to most other shows, most shows feel like they rely far too much on humor and violence to "entertain the masses" but this show gives you REAL entertainment. Realistic characters with brilliant character arcs, and resolution.
I really wish you could stream this show on more websites, I don't know why such good shows like this don't make it to sites like netflix... Anyone else think older shows should be streamed on more websites?
That said, movie-web.app.
Expend4bles (2023)
If you see this in theatres, you're bound to enjoy it
That's really all that needs to be said, it has action, jokes, it's on tap entertainment. Yes there are flaws but I walked out satisfied by the film. Statham was excellent as christmas! Hilarious.
Now if you're going in expecting some kind of thought-provoking social commentary or something you're probably not going to get it, but go in as a simple man of simple taste and walk out a satisfied man (assuming you didn't overpay for your tickets and the screen was a "premium" one like mine).. yeah I have no real inclination to rewatch it but it was definetly fun!
What else can I say about it to meet minimum character limit? Oh yeah there wasn't enough scenes of hot tatted asian chick with the cool weapons, and the urine scene was funnier than it had any right to be. Stallone does it again. Mixing conservative contemporary humor with blockbuster action. Simple formula. Maybe it deserves only a 7/10 but when I walked out I had indeeed thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't really have a thing to pick apart! No I'm not going to examine it closer just to give it a lower rating. I think it's a justified 8/10 Go see it if you're inclined.
Ice Age (2002)
The graphics no longer hold up, sid looks very dirty, but still very good film
But I liked it, there was always something special about this movie. Every bit of dialogue lands. All the jokes are surprisinlgy relevant, almost like they fool-proofed or future-proofed the dialogue. I just wish sid didn't look so dirty because as a kid he was my fav. But now as an adult I see maybe that was an artistic choice to make his textures/diffuse look so dirty, same as the squirrel to represent the lower class in society. He really looks like he's from a early ps3 game.
Perhaps it was an artistic choice, since the mammoth and tigers look quite excellent by comparison, same as the humans, which i was REALLY surprised by how good the human animation and models were, we're represented quite well.. I loved how they went for the human look of the time, the bone structure etc, but at the same time they looked clean, shaven, trimmed eyebrows, it's begging the question "what if humans of thousands of years ago, were just as clean looking as humans today, they're not covered in hair, no weirdly bushy eyebrows?" interesting to think about in the context of the film.
All in all watch it in the highest quality you can, with the best sound you can, you'll enjoy every bit of it as an adult too. It's as good as I remember. Just graphically sid looks a bit rough, but maybe that's intentional. Otherwise the film seems really first-class. IMO if a modern film cannot excite me as much as this one, I'll lose all faith in modern animations.
Ballerina (2023)
unexpectedly enjoyable if girly but hey! it's actually good
Questioning if you should watch it? Well the english dub is a tad cartoonish but adds a layer of humor with it's disconnect, defeintly watchable and better than most english dubs! I tried going to the korean audio and ended up switching back to the english audio so yeah give this little film a go if you're in need of a classic revenge film, this film satisfies!!
Solid film. Amazing cinetomagratohpy, amazing actors will rewatch, but i was so impressed! Loved the lead girl too.. and surprisingly very believable.. good direction and script.. feels like a big budget film the john wick fighting was good too, maybe a tad camera-shaky but freaking fun overalll!! If this is a new type of film for korea, I'm all for it, this film rocks as an revenge flick, you feel totally immersed!
The Batman (2022)
I was ready to hate on this but it ended up redeeming batman for me
Yeah...its a bit long it starts out a bit boring the look of the film is a bit too dirty. Its not a beautfiul film but they made robert patterson work as the batman. Im pmressed. Totally thought hed shittify it up
But when the credits finally roll you feel like they did the character justice the reveal and twist was good too. I actually didnt anticipate it. But some mightve wondered why would he turn himself in? Surely that would give it away... They really knocked the story out the park!
I found thumb drive to be hilarious.
Overall the movie? I think at first i might not have wanted to rewatch it but now im not sure... Maybe ill rewatch it??? The ending was that cohesive.
Im sure some people found it too much of a slog.. Much like batman begins
But it was almost justified here.. Definetly Worth a watch if you like slow burn long movies!
I wish there was some more use pf colour.. The entire movie felt too confident in its color palette... But i giess robert patterson is the edgy angsty batman after all. What this movie does great is the realism in situations and fight scenes.. How imperfect batmans fighting skills are.. Was cool to see. He gets hit in the head quite a few times LOL.
I also thoguht the riddler was genuinely amazing you really see how they developed his.arc and character was great.. Keen on next batman film. Not a bad movie just a bit long in the beginning and felt like they used their budget creatively on a better story rather than showering us with action throguhout. It was a nice change. I think they nailed this film. But i feel like this formula is being rated higher because comparatively theres a lack of decent movies these days.. But really this type of movie could have been made 20 years ago. Its not all that new. But its good. The reveals are good its all satisfying the dull colors are just a bit annoying to look at i suppose thats my one other complaint. There are some memorable scenes though.. That surprised me. The "not Romance " was good too but there was one forced line from catwoman... Other than that all good 👍 if you can last watching a 3hr film, youll like it!
Burn (2019)
Very good film. More horror than thriller. Heres why lmao
Was really surpirsed about the rape scene. The rape scene was really good stuff because a lot of people are scared stiff to put a female rapist on film and sell it. But this film did that.
That was probably the real horror is that women in the audience would watch this film discover the woman is the rapist and then walk out. I betcha thats exactly what happened. This film was a horror film for them more than a thriller. I loved it. Great engaging but a bit predictable..
The most predictable part was how i could suddenly tell the film was going to be confined to the gas station...
But actually its pretty smart for a film.. Because it allows them to reduce the budget etc.
If most othet films were confined to a single gas station theyd suck but the casting waz excellent for this film..
Everyone is memorable.. Melinda most of all.. She was truly terrific
A joy to watch but yeah a lot of yall modern people are in for the horror of your lives once you discover the rapist is a female. You cant handle it. Top shelf script and top shelf film for the budget.
Big Brother (2001)
Started with Season 7... the MOST annoying thing is how they replay whole scenes at a later day
This show starts out as a genuine 10/10 (host is amazing with her dialogue) then became an 8/10 now it's a 7/10... First the good: in the age where social media makes me miserable(most forms that aren't just a youtube video that is) this show reminds me that even hot people have to suffer. Even hot people are normal people, and they're normal in the way that the only difference is they have life easier and have more fun in general because of their looks and image(which they have learned they have to maintain at all costs). This show did either teach or remind me of that... BUT the stitching of scenes from other days into a previous day is a totally cheap move, a total SIN.....
Makes you think it's all part of the same day, this is some bullshot editing!!! Like a scene that happened on episode 2 is suddenly playing again in episode 3??? Sometimes it's the same camera angles too... like what's the point????????????? At least when they played it with different camera angles and perspectives it showed something in a new light... but still
also after realizing this is part of the formula, it's a bit terrible..
because it's like they deliberately cut the scenes that would make someone look good, then in a later episode you find out they weren't simply slutting around (hailey) because the footage of her confessing to andrew and big brother was cut from the previous episode and put two episodes too late... made her look like a heartless sloot but now after its revealed she's finally a human again.. but still.. this is annoying editing, same stuff the bachelor AU does(2022/2023). Why would the show do this? It's kinda like they cannot simply show people as ordinary, they have to make some look bad, some look hot, some look like a sook, they can't make anyone look too "normal" or "good" especially if they're in a romantic relationship. Now I literally have no idea how much footage and stories/scenes they're actually cutting from say day 2 to smash it together in the episode that runs day 4...just to mess with our heads as viewers... no telling how much "reruns" theyre going to stitch together to fool us or how much theyre going to.
And how does hailey in ep 4 (even jokingly) get off on calling billy a creep when she's the creepiest scheming, cheating person on the entire show? That's some projecting. See what this editing done... it made me see the worst parts of hailey, then later they show she was actually more human than the editors let on...rinse repeat... I'll be predicting it cause how else can i enjoy the show unless i just mindlessly watch it? Anywho. I should really rate this show a 5/10 or a 6/10 but it's probably gonna keep giving out "gems" and im still gonna keep watching it, without question, so my anger will die down, I'll rate it a 7/10 and call this review a day.
Barbie (2023)
Barbie is human... Cinematography was amazing But what kind of script is this really?
First 10mins was annoying, then it came around as it showed us it was self-aware enough to realise. Over and hour in i was enjoying it. The comedy is on point all round. Then came the part when the women plot to lie and "cheat" on their boyfriends at the beach...
That was a bit evil?. Im sure a lot of kids went to see this film and teens. The cinema i was in was sure packed but that wasnt a good message. "To save barbieland we must lie and cheat on our boyfriends" not sure a lot of parents would like that message either. Then the film wraps up wonderfully about barbie becoming human and herself instead of playing the role of barbie which was wonderful.. But are we supposed to just pretend and forget the message of this film just five minutes ago is to cheat on your boyrfriends and lie to them once youve gained their trust and made them happy? Hmm. Ryan gosling however was amazing to witness. Totally amazing just like he was in any other gosling film. Drive and blade runner being my favs.
I will rewatch this because the comedy is very much on point but ill fast forward a lot of the extremist feminist speeches as they leave a questionable aftertaste when examined. I cannot give this film a 10 even though you can tell the production budget is amazing as were the acting. Go and see it if you have the itch. But it's not for everyone.
Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965)
I didnt realy get it, i still kinda liked it
This is a pretty boring review....
watched this ages ago now... maybe in what 2017? Or even earlier...possibly i dont remember how i came acrosss it maybe i rented it from library? Anyways...
was probably a really good film for the time, but how does it hold up? Im not sure, cant remember what i disliked, everything seemed wuality for the time... i probably didnt dislike anything but id probably prefer to watch that movie with tony curtis in it.. called the great race.. if you havent seen that youre REALLY missing out!
So do yourself a favor and watch that if you're on the fence about this... now if youre not on the fence, go ahead watch whatever you want.
The Fog (2005)
Saw this a while back..liked it, good for a casual flick! Challenge yourself its...Not even that scary!
That's all you need to know, good casual flick, good thriller type stuff around a 8/10, just watch it when you have time to spare, it's not that scary either!!!.
For me I wouldn't rewatch it till next year, but radio girl was alsso hot.
And this review is too short so let me add some filler:
Well, this movie is pretty cosy tbh, good if you want to watch something mildly scary on a rain day with a warm cup of coffee or soup, since its not really scary like at all, and im the typ that gets scared stiff in horror movies or all types... so yeah, you'll probably watch it, you'll probably have a good time, you'll probably not need to rewatch it for some time.
Taekbaegisa (2023)
This has the vibe of "budget film director got new money"
Not going to lie, I picked this because I needed something new to review and thinking it'll be some netflix crap that would let me write a lengthy hate-review on here. So going off the first episode...The english dub seems fine. It IS however cartoonish with some awkward pauses like a play, for some that can be a huge turn-off
What ABSOLUTELY does my head in however is the jump-cuts every few seconds. CAN I NOT LOOK AT A SCENE FOR A FEW MORE SECONDS, EVERY FEW SECONDS BEFORE YOU CUT RIGHT BACK TO IT AGAIN? Who edited this like this?? Wtf? Just no, fire your editor pls for the love of whatever god supposedly exists
You can tell they had a budget, but it still somehow doesn't feel like the budget for this was rock bottom. Was it? It looks both cheap and expensive at the same time. How is that possible? Well it seems like the director is used to making budget movies, and got some new money to flesh out his set design and stuff, that's how I'd explain the vibe this has where it feels both "cheap and expensive" at the same time.
I love some of the set design. You can tell that they put effort into it and some of the scenes do look good and authentic. However... there's too many jump cuts, let me look at a person for more than 1 second before you cut the camera thanks.
I'm sure it's a ok show but I just couldn't go on cause of the jump cuts, shaky cam and weird delivery of the english dub lines. Stopped 10mins in. Yeah I don't think it's for me, even if I'm a sucker for the apocalyptic max mad style.
Beef (2023)
From the very first episode, i knew this is as good as gold
So good. Steven yeun. I'd never be able to see the bad in him after seeing him in the walking dead, so it was fun for me to see him completely undone, unhinged and totally normal looking here. He plays the part perfectly. I literally cannot get over how good he fits the poor unhinged and angry character here. Anyone else would just look like some nobody, or an incel. But yeun makes the entire screen enjoyable to watch.
Profound acting and directing in this one, the script feels like a breath of fresh air, it feels genuine and grounded, it's almost like the comedic aspects are competing toe to toe with a great story. Well done script and execution.
Crash (1996)
If you like porn, you'll like this film.
Explores everything erotic. Totally up my alley. Slow and erotic, but it never feels slow. It's ripe with detail in the tensions. Thematically sound film and one that if you get, you will enjoy it.
I'm trying to quit the addiction, but this movie is making me feel valid and normal and human. No other movie has made me feel so normal and content with my place in the world . Great film. New favourite. POSSIBLY now my favourite "adult" film of all time. The guilty pleasure of guilty pleasures. It has the timeless vibe of you being a teenager again, but it's actually just the best parts and more. Watch it twice, then another 10 times. Thank me later.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023)
Dismal. By far the worst of the series. And im a huge tf fan.
Im a crybaby and this film just did not hit the right spots at all.. Felt totally fake compared to the other TF films. Or is that just how much more derivative this film is now?
Movie starts out ok. Gets interesting till you meet the gorilla. Is an absolute slog for the next hour. Wraps up with an "uh ok?" And the random post-credits scene which was not actually post-credits. Seems director over here figured nobody gave enough a crap to stay past the credits for one.
So formulaic. From the girls plot armor to the now typecast optimus prime. Also too much filler. Of all the films. This one had like ZERO reason to be longer than 1hr 30mins. Seriously dumb.
Only exception was noah and the kid. Noth were decent. But the girl and the one dimensional transformers? Apart from mirage..
The jumpscare devilbotthingies were so annoying..too much filler. Is this a horror flick yet?
Why is the transformers villains teeth so rusty? Someone of his leadership and caliber is not going to rock some homeless teeth. Hes either going to have perfect optimus teeth or none. Totally took me out of his perfectly delivered lines.
Some of the cgi is just bad. A lot of it.
I will rewatch at my own pace just to slam it more.
Idiocracy (2006)
This film is right.
Its just right. I don't know what else to tell ya. The message it's giving, from the film, to me to your neighbor, to you is, everyone's getting a bit dumber. And it's true, it's systematic in it's delivery just like our social and corporate life is.
The parallels to western life, the reality, our reality, the parallels are endless here.
I remember a time where I was curious if there was enough merit to the concepts here. But I'm here today to tell you, they're bang on. Hit the nail. Nail in the coffin. Beating a dead horse (but a correct one). Yes you've heard this opinion before, but that still doesn't change it's righteousness(?)
So here is my retroactive review. Here's the future, it's not all it's cracked up to be but at the same time quality of life does statistically get better every 10 years. But if you can't live with waiting for the next 10 years to roll around, then you ought to find a philosophy, for which this movie can help you start on your journey of curiosity.
Mystery Diagnosis (2005)
I didn't think this show would be as interesting as it was. I thought it'd be typical "TV movie" quality
Note: binge watching this show for more than 2 episodes in a row can be a bit too much. So I'd say watch one episode a day to gain maximum knowledge and maximum fun and maximum entertainment.
Boy was i wrong, like actually wrong, this is TV movie quality but from 2005, so it's essentially TAKEN TO NEW HIEGHTS. It's got the feel that you know it's almost maybe/but/maybe/not kinda gimped by the tv movie budget but it doesn't leave you hanging with no answers or anything, the people interviewed always feel down to earth, genuine, human, they give the whole story very beautifully and not like they're reading from a low-budget script. It feels like a reaslitic portrayal of life and doctors and all that. All of it feeels reaslitic. So much that i have to watch more of it just so i know what reality is like again. Instagram/youtube/reddit and life in 2022 especially has brainwashed me too much away from the bad stuff and true normals in reality. What actually happens to most people etc..
I'm gonna have to remember to watch this more when bored.
