Star Wars: The Bad Batch: The Cavalry Has Arrived (2024) Season 3, Episode 15

The main story is quite good, BUT!

Like many others I dislike that they made scorch from the game Republic Commando a loyal imp. In the game they were ...well... a lot more like the bad batch than regular clones and had minds of their own.

Scorch would never have tolerated imp practises he saw at that facility, but even ignoring that Delta Squad was such an elite squad and he's just supposed to die like a chump? Just for a reference that people who will understand the reference won't like?

Him being there is one thing, but he'd have grown more and more uncomfortable with the situation and then discovering the team and the similarity to Delta he shoulda joined them.

Wish (II) (2023)

Thief, Traitor, Torturist.

The King built a kingdom where everyone could live rent free and safe, and not only that everyone who CHOOSE can move there. All he ask in return is for them to VOULUNTARILY let him administer their wishes, seeing who is safest to grant.

An greedy brat who applies for a job working for the king starts asking the king for favours even before the job is hers.

When she faces the consequences of her arrogance she decides to rectify it with even more arrogance.

I'll grant that for half a second Asha realizes that stealing the wishes would be stealing, but then she tries to rationalize it away by claiming the wishes didn't belong to him even though they were voluntarily given.

In her little heist attempt she nearly burn the castle down and cause much chaos. Afterwards back home she tries to force her grandfather to learn about his wish against his expressed wishes. Only in the end does she reluctantly allow her grandfather to choose for himself, but then sulks about it.

With a sense of unjustified priviledge she decide to make war upon her own kingdom with no real justification.

Sure the king ends up being corrupted after a while, but why?

Because Asha breaks the law and ignite the Kings childhood trauma. It's pretty clear that it is a form of PTSD the king suffers from.

The fear and panic causes the king to be corrupted in his attempted defence of the kingdom and its people by using dangerous magic. All tis happens as a direct result of Asha's action and then she has the audacity to use the fall she caused as justification for her betrayal and everyone idioticly goes along with it.

In the end they seal the king away in a staff to suffer for eternity because that's not cruel and unusual at all.

The king was right. They were ungrateful and not worthy of his gifts.

Main character falls in love with a robot after they nuked a large human city, and then later because one of them says "nu huh" he's like.. All humans are evil... long live the robot overlords! Everything he does after then is done with the intention to betray mankind and maybe getting his sexdoll back.

Now of course this is just a film and usually I'm onboard with humanity losing and dying out. We are horrible after all, but when I want humanity to lose it's against a meteor or something like that. I don't want us to lose against something that's even more horrible than we are.

The most idiotic part is at the end the stupid main character, after having betrayed all life says "I'm going to heaven"
