Satan's School for Girls (1973)
Love this movie and the remake
I love horror movies and for me the older they are the more creepy and this one was definitely creepy. Although you don't always need blood and gore for a good horror film, the eerie music and dark atmosphere already made sure of that. Personally Roberta (Kate Jackson) was my favorite character with doing a good job to seem innocent in front of Elizabeth while also manipulating her to lead her closer to the cult. Kate Jackson also appeared as the dean in the 2000 remake which I really liked as well although the original had a lot more detail in some areas like the background of the sister who died in the beginning but not so much in the 2000s version although that one has its own extra events since their both pretty different, but with a same storyline.
I'm gunna add parallels bc why not:
Elizabeth Sayers/Beth Hammersmith
Roberta Lockhart/Allison Kingsley
Jody Keller/Hillary
Martha Sayers/Jenny Hammersmith
Lucy/Lisa Bagley
Mrs. Jessica-something/Olivia Burtis or the dean (Kate Jackson)
Student Bodies (1997)
I love it!!
I'm only 15 but I found out about this show when I was a freshman last year it's really good! It has pretty likable characters my favorite are Flash and Grace and I can kind of relate to some of their situations from my 1 and a half years of high school so far I love how Sassy Flash is and her duo with Victor is iconic I love how they team up together to do harmless pranks on the student bodies group (before they all became one friend group) and although in one episode Victor really screwed up their friendship in season 3 which made me mad But I think it gets better (I haven't watched all of season 3) I love the character development in all the characters the character I had a problem with was Chris since he was kind of a player😭 Still one of my favorite shows ever.
Tales from the Neverending Story: Resurrection (2003)
Slayy
I love this series, I love the plot and the connection with characters between the real world and fantasia. I found this show when I was 12 years old, Bastains age. I am now 14 and fly girl and Atreyus age. It's weird how that changed. I still wonder what happened with Xayide and Fallon in dark city (she probably just tries turning her into a drone like everyone else) I'm glad at least Gemma and April could get out of dark city. I hope Gemma and Bastian could get along better. I also like the friendship between Fallon and Bastian that they developed, and that she isn't a b!tch to him anymore.
Btw Xayide/Victoria Sanchez is so underrated throughout this series 🖤🖤
Once Upon a Time: Sympathy for the De Vil (2015)
Underrated cruella
She's my favorite villian in ouat because of her personality. She doesn't have a sob story instead she was made purely evil to begin with and her backstory was my favorite. She may not be the most powerful but her sass, her style, humor, and personality is everything 🖤🖤
Satan's School for Girls (2000)
Sanchez was amazing in this
Victoria Sanchez has always been one of my favorite actresses and her role as Lisa Bagley
I still have a few questions about Lisa that wasn't in the movie like; how is she related to witchcraft or have to do with the five? Why does she always stare at Beth/Karen but doesn't want to talk to her? What's her backstory? What happened between her and Jenny Hammersmith? Why did she slice Beth's hand open? There's a lot of unknown questions that can't be for sure answered but this is still one of my favorite movies and way better then the original.
