A Great start to Phase 5
19 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Going into this movie theme trailers looked awesome and it was the first time we would the actual Kang since the variant we saw in Loki Season 1. The main positives here are that's it's incredibly fun Paul Rudd is a charming and comedic as ever it has a great family dynamic here and love how much the films are starting to feel like the comics. But the best thing about film is Jonathan Majors as Kang, every time he's on screen your listening and you know he's a threat everyone is serious and they've done a great job of setting him up for future films and tv. I know some people don't like that this Ant Man film more of an avengers level threat and they prefer the more fun heist feel but Ant Man 2 Lost it for me. Other than Modok being pretty dumb ass and cutting some tension I had a lot of fun with this one but I do wish someone died as we are dealing with Kang the Conqueror!!!. Overall 84%

Fun Netflix Rom Com
14 February 2023
I love rom coms so this one worked for me. I loves Ashton Kutcher and Reece Witherspoon, they both have great chemistry even though there're not on screen together a hole bunch. Steve Zahn is also in this one as the comic relief and I loved him here, he's an actor that just makes things better what ever film no matter how bad he'll make it better. It also got me at the end because I love stuff like this, what are gonna do? There are problems here though the kid in this one gets on my tits massively I also think it's weird there's not much screen time with are leads but they still have great chemistry together so a solid 👌74%

Fun but could have been more fun
5 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Rom Coms always work for me mostly so I didn't hate this movie. The two stars of the movie (Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel) are fun in the film they have good chemistry. But this film felt like it could have been more badass where a bride starts killing loads of Pirates and it dose make you think it's gonna go that way when it doesn't. I also think Jennifer Coolidge is annoying in this film, I never thought she was funny in American Pie or her appearance on friends and what ever else she's done she just got to me. So there is fun to be had here if you like Rom Coms but if you don't you miss this one 6/10.

A Fine film, not for me
5 February 2023
So I've never seen the Teen Wolf Show so I'm not sure why I watched other than just wanting to watch as many new releases as possible. And so I didn't know what was going on at all was not connected to any characters what do ever but I've never seen the show that's not the movie's fault. But even then I found the film boring and MTV feeling which it may have been. So if I watched the show might have really enjoyed this film if I liked the tv series of course. But still in this circumstance the film was still boring and annoying in the MTV feel of it. At the end of the day it was a slow watch and I should have watched the show but still 4/10.

Surprisingly disappointing
1 February 2023
When you have two of the greatest comedy actors of all time in Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy you expect it to be way better and a lot more funny. Now don't get me wrong there are funny moments and it is enjoyable it's definitely not boring but when you have such a great cast you can't help but walk away disappointed by the comedy. Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Hill's mum is annoying and I always liked her in Seinfeld, I'm not a veteran of that show but of what I've seen I liked her in it. So overall a fun but disappointing Netflix original that could have been way better so I'll give it a solid 6.5/10.

Emotional Fun
22 January 2023
So I wasn't expecting much from this as it's a Netflix dog movie. I did not know it was a true story until I watched the movie and I really enjoyed this film. You've got some really relatable stuff in there for me when it comes to Fielding not knowing what he wants to do with his life and his relationship with his Dad. The film got me really emotional at times when I wasn't expecting that at all. I thought it would be some cheesy dog movie with bad dialogue. But it was way more fun and heart warming than that. It won't end up being my favourite of the year or anything but it's still fun 7.5/10.

Cool action bland story
22 January 2023
So JUNG_E has some very exciting action and some great visuals, a great lead performance from Kang Soo-yeon, (Rest in peace). The film is clearly taking inspiration from other Si-Fi futuristic movies such as Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2049, and I Robot. So the inspiration shown is very interesting to see but the film doesn't live up to those expectations at all as the story is pretty forgettable and feels like we've seen the film a hundred times before. There's also some annoying characters here such as the director played by Ryu Kyung-soo. So cool action and visuals but forgettable story 5/10.

Good But could have been great
22 January 2023
Whilst Bale and Melling give great performances the film as a whole is quite slow and forgettable. I enjoy the murder mystery to the movie with Christian Bale that I find to be really intriguing. But the film could have gone more for an R rating or 18 depending where you are. I was hoped g it would feel like a David Fincher Movie in the 19th century. I wanted it to delve into the horror side more, and the twist at the end was kind of obvious. But it is enjoyable at times to mystery dose interest me and for a movie in January it was solid enough, like most movies this month seem to be. So 7/10.
