Stranger Things: Chapter One: The Vanishing of Will Byers (2016)
Great start for this series!
The first stranger things episode does things in a way where there is a perfect flow of information to the audience. One scene that happens very early on in the episode is when they are talking through that microphone and if you didn't already catch their names before you would have then, you basically get a whole introduction to them.
I jumped a bit at times where I wasn't really expecting a scare to come on so abruptly which adds to the interest in the show since it always keeps you on your feet.
Oh yeah and the soundtrack is amazing with the synth wave noises for the theme. Loved this episode can't wait to watch the next one!
Make Me a Sandwich (2019)
It's snappy but somewhat boring
Make me a Sandwich is the type of short film that looks stunning but everything else about it is kinda off. The plot is just uninteresting and the way the plot is executed is worse. The pacing is alright but that old guy became super annoying after the third time he said "make me a sandwich". I like how the maggots and mold look pretty damn good on the bread I guess. Plus how does this dude have no pain chewing bloody glass like Jesus Christ. I don't know it's boring but somehow always gets you looking at your screen after about 30 seconds of looking at your phone and eh it's alright but not amazing.
Better Call Saul (2015)
Better than it's predecessor!
Better call Saul is one of the shows that your first sceptical about because lawyer stuff sounds boring compared to the high stakes adventures of breaking bad where Saul was just comedic relief, but in this great prequel the characters are better written, it's shot way better and we finally get to see more of a backstory on the Salamancas and how nacho played a major part in the reason of their downfall. Last few episodes look amazing with the nice noir look to it. Really love Kim in this series because she has some really great arcs and falls in love with slippin jimmy (Saul Goodman) and they do more and more schemes together as the series progresses. Love it <3. Best series ever made. BRAVO VINCE!!!!
Hocus Pocus (1993)
Soulless film that looks and feels like a school play
The title is the best way I can summarise this movie it looks like a stage play more than a movie and the effects are even outdated for the time that it came out. Feels like a worse version of the witches (much better Halloween movie) + the opening has no idea what time period it is set in because the movie tells us it's the 18th century but everything looks like it's from the 13th century to be completely honest. And one question I have since I am very curious about this doesn't wood decompose in about 100 years why is the house as good looking as it was in the 1700s just with a few spider webs around? Plus can we please stop getting virgin jokes, the first one was alright but it's just repeated over and over like jeez it's not bloody funny anymore.
Spider-Man (2018)
Probably my favourite adaptation of Spider-Man
Insomniacs Spider-Man (2018) is an experience to say the least. Stunning visuals, Great voice acting, Perfect pacing, Amazing Story, Spectacular Mechanics and reignited my love for Spider-Man and superheroes in general. It's great that we get to see a glimpse into Peters normal life with aunt may and MJ, the supporting cast of characters is great too. It also is heartbreaking to see Ottos transformation into doctor octopus, seeing how he completely turns on Peter due to the machine they both built together is tear jerking. Black cat is a baddie too MEOW ^~^
Anyway it's a great game give all your life savings to insomniac to help put food on the table oh yea did I mention black cats hot.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
It's good but wouldn't consider it "one of the greats" though..
This movie really just felt unneeded even though everything else feels stellar. Kinda wish they put the money to another character but here we are. The acting is good but Jesse just doesn't feel as good as he was in breaking bad even though It's clear Aaron Paul loves the role he plays in this film. Most of the movie was fan service flashbacks which doesn't bother me but can be a massive pace killer the mike one was okay but when they started showing Todd and Walter it got out of hand. Effects look nice is something I can say but I can't elaborate that much on. Ehhh it's alright I'll rewatch it one day.
The Amazing Bulk (2012)
A fundamentally bad movie but an amazing experience to watch with Friends
The amazing bulk delivers all of the "bad" movie status quos but dialed up to 11. The acting is hilariously bad as if they hired random supermarket workers. The music is obviously just a playlist of classic 1700s-1800s music and I always burst out laughing when I see "music supervisor" in the credits. The effects are terrible and makes the movie look like a ps2 game. Oh yea forgot to mention the camera cuts to so many random stock animations that it's laughable.
Personally enjoyed watching this with my friend but if your actually considering watching this movie and have a good time.. don't watch it alone.

Outrighteous (2008)
Absolutely horrible
Everything in this movie is dull. The acting feels like 6 year old me playing with my stuffed toys but even more boring. The cinematography in this film is repetitive the camera is always put behind the shoulder viewing the other character. The plot is uninteresting and filled with Christianity that is unwarranted to the story overall. The amount of bad romance cliches in this movie drove me nuts. The guy Calvin changes his mind more than the amount of times superhero's must face down the next "big" bad of their comic run
Do not watch it's not bad it's good it's just... actually I don't even know what to say for this movie it just baffles me.
Breaking Bad (2008)
Smart drama that pulls you in and leaves you wanting more
How can I even get started on this masterpiece of a show. Almost everything about it is executed perfectly.
1. The music always delivers a banger that even I go back to listen to on my free time cause it's so great
2. The character work is brilliant. Over the course of the series we see Walter whites family slowly going deeper into the criminal underworld and the side characters are amazing at making you care about them and the world they live in i never would have thought the saddest deaths in the series would be side characters
3. This show has really great subtlety that really pays off etc the characters clothing and some lines of dialogue.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Fun watch just a few flaws though.
Thor 4 is my second favourite Thor film because I felt excited most parts of the movie there were some questionable cgi but everything else I enjoyed whole heartedly.
Elvis (2022)
Last half Is some of the greatest film I have ever seen
Elvis is a roller coaster ride. At times I couldn't tell what else they were gonna throw at me.
The first hour of the movie is mostly just a massive montage of Elvis making it painful to sit through.
The last 45 minutes of this movie are perfect though I actually really liked Tom hanks performance personally unlike other reviews on here and Austin butler is literally the perfect Elvis Presley. His voice is spectacular in this
Definitely recommend if you love Elvis or 50s/60s culture.
Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022)
Surprised me definitely
Minions: The rise of gru is a fun time for any family wanting to go to the cinema for a couple of laughs.
This movie starts off with the main antagonists stealing a ancient object which can transform stuff into animals from the zodiac they betray the villian who gru looks up to.
The references from the 60s-70s are insane in this movie I can't even count them in my head without writing them down
My only complaint with this movie is that the Karate sub plot is extremely unneeded and I found my self dozing off at those parts
Overrall it was a fun movie to watch :)
