The Wrath of Becky (2023)
Powerful Vengeance
This film and its predecessor "Becky" were both incredible! Character development is fantastic! The plot is perfectly on the edge of reality and fantasy. It gives those of us who want to find retribution an outlet in fantasy. I wish I could be Becky and terrorize my perpetrator with this much violence and justice! It's a fantastic masterpiece in storytelling and visual violence. The perfect balance for compassion, complexity and raw intensity! I really, really hope they make a third installment. The actress has done an incredible job! The rest of the team is perfectly cast! Left me so excited to see what would happen next!
Special Forces: World's Toughest Test (2023)
Surprisingly Educational
I love that this show exposes my own deep rooted issues and inspires me to challenge myself to do hard things, to be uncomfortable, and to possibly move towards change. A quick note: the arm chair quarterbacks giving this one star are only doing so because in their delusional world, they think they could do better than olympians. This show is unique and honest. These "celebs" have agreed to be yelled at, disrespected, and put in incredibly harsh and difficult conditions. Sleeping on a cot with crap for food is, in itself, a serious ask for any of us watching from home. There's a reason people dropped out in the first day. It's because 108 degree heat causes a two mile jog to be devestating. I think this show is great and I would love to see more of it. Yes, some participants are ridiculous (Nastia) but most are on a personal and real journey and they have allowed us to witness it. How cool is that!
Rambo: Last Blood (2019)
Ultimate Satisfaction
No one can beat the unstoppable John Rambo!
This film is an epic tribute to the triumph that is Sylvester Stallone. The hard work and dedication this man has put in is so inspiring! To produce and act in such a powerful roll over so many years is incredible.
I am full of nostalgia because I watched the first Rambo film as a young boy and remember playing with Rambo action figures. It inspired me to fight for the innocent and oppressed.
This movie was so well done and a blast to watch.

All presented in a radical action movie.
Stallone has mastered the montage and the essence of the action hero! Bravo!
Bullet Train (2022)
Cinematic Perfection
This was so enjoyable and entertaining! Bullet Train is exactly what an action comedy should. So much action and so much witty humor! I loved every minute of it!
Brad Pitt, thank you for your honest and humble performance as Lady Bug. What a treat to see an action hero just being his humble self. Absolutely nailed it!
Every character was spot on and so enjoyable to go on this adventure with. Rarely do I laugh out loud, but Bullet Train had me doing this more than once. So fun!
I really can't come up with anything that I would change from this adventure. It's not often that I leave a review but this film was exactly what cinema should be; an outrageous escape from the ordinary.
Doom Patrol (2019)
Brenden Fraser for the Win
I love Brendan Fraser! He is perfectly cast for this part. The show is so full of surprises, and it is so unique! Getting to know the characters and see them go on their journeys is awesome. It is a nice break from the standard storyline, and the standard heroes journey. I really appreciate the use of intense emotion to convey serious plot points and character development. There are moments when CGI is not perfect but when you see some of the other pieces of extravagant set work and costuming, it all comes together perfectly. I am only through episode two. I can't wait to see more! Doom patrol is a fantastic adventure, exactly what I was looking for!
A Christmas Story Christmas (2022)
Nailed It
An insurmountable flood of nostalgia and joy full of Christmas charm. This is a fantastic sequel and nod to the cult classic that is "A Christmas Story". Highly recommend. Having the original be such a huge part of my childhood, this is an absolute treasure to see. Having the original cast return is absolutely amazing. Seeing the original locations is also mind blowing! I never realized that the original, though filmed in 1982, was set decades earlier. Sequentially, this sequel lands us in a time before cell phones. What a beautiful and moving continuation of a great story. The scene with the carolers is comedic gold!
