Kyoukai no kanata (2013)
Beautiful and emotional
This is so sad and beautiful that words cannot describe it, but emotions can. It's so emotional, like Violet Evergarden. I'm literally crying while writing this review, because I just finished the show 2 minutes ago.
This is the most tragic and beautiful anime I've ever watched, despite Fruits Basket being my 1st for such a long time...
At first, I thought it's some stupid cringe romance and fighting, because Mirai was such an annoying girl and Akihito & Hiroomi are weirdos that are obsessed with cute girls wearing glasses, but I was completely fooled.
Some shows start out as a cringe comedy, but it starts to get darker and darker.
The last episode and the movie (future) was so emotional and tragic.
This show was so dark because of the blood and cruelty that makes you want to burst out tears because of the realisation of twisted humanity.
I recommend this show for people who are okay with blood and gore and dark fantasy.
Orange (2016)
Very beautiful and emotional
I just finished watching the series and the movie, and I was crying like a newborn.
I have no idea how to describe this "beautiful" feeling of sorrow, but I'll try anyways.
It's very sad to know that someone is wanting to commit $u!c!d3, Kakeru had a very stupid reason to. He blamed himself for his mother's death, when she was the one who chose to die, none of it is his fault.
He didn't think about his friends' feelings about if he dies. He has such amazing friends who deeply cares about him, and he has a crush that cares about him as well, and he doesn't think that they're going to be sad if he dies.
He and his friends made such great memories, they were laughing together, putting on the biggest smiles. If he k!ll$ himself, then all the fun memories they made were for nothing.
Through the whole series, I was thinking Kakeru was being the biggest idiot for the idea of leaving his friends on purpose.
I'm just so happy the anime got a happy ending, when Kakeru and Naho got married in the end of the movie.
I really do feel bad for Suwa though, he's so kind and understanding, knowing he doesn't have a shot for Naho, and he wasn't insanely jealous when Kakeru stole Naho from him. But, at least Suwa and Naho are married in the other world!
This anime really do like Fruits Basket; tragic story with a happy ending, and broken characters being fixed.
Fruits Basket (2019)
The most emotional anime
This anime is so beautiful, it's full of emotions, sadness, heart melting, happy, and a lot more. It's really hard for me to write a review, because I'm in tears after finishing the last episode, and it's really hard to describe.
The bond between Akito and the zodiac members is so tragic to watch, and Akito's backstory made me cry. Akito was very cruel, because her father spoiled her, saying "she was special and she was bother to be love and the zodiac members will love her no matter what she does".
Tohru's backstory also made me cry. Even though Tohru lost both her parents, she's still smiling, she is very strong to smile despite being orphan.
To be honest, everyone in this anime has a sad backstory.
Even though it's sad, it's also very beautiful, and it ends with a happy ending. At the end, I cried because of how sorrow the anime was, but the ending was happy. I was so happy to see Akito change, but she still deserves to be arrested for the crimes she committed, and to see Kyo and Tohru have children and even grandchildren, and every other couples being together without being stopped by Akito.
I highly recommend watching this anime, don't forget to grab a box of tissue once you reach season 2! (Season 1 is happy and full of comedy, but season 2 gets dark)
