Hum: I'm Because of Us (2018)
Has a message to understand...
The series is average. The execution and screenplay could have been a bit better...But it has a good moral to it. Watched the show for Kushal. He as Rahul was good. His character graph was strong throughout.
Highlights that Money and Branding isn't everything in life. These things are attractive in the beginning but fade away eventually.
It shows that your relations are important. Having your close ones around and trusting them , being there for them at all steps of life is the only thing one needs to stay happy. Once the trust and bond breaks , things will automatically get disheveled.
However , the story is incomplete and requires another season.
Bebaakee (2020)
Keeps you hooked !
Its not a typical rom-com where the girl and boy unite etc. It has its own twists , family drama , misunderstandings. The filming locations and songs add beautiful touches to the series.
The main highlight of the series is Kushal Tandon. The way he portrays Sufiyaan is just brilliant.
The love , anger , toxicity , the 'pagalpan' or 'bebaak' personality is intriguing to watch and tough to essay too. He enacts it with such subtleness , no overacting , sticks to brief. Absolutely loved him throughout the series.
Shivjyothi and Karan Jotwani did a good job as well.
Each character's personality is drafted and described well.
Barsatein - Mausam Pyaar Ka (2023)
Mausam Pyaar and Misunderstandings ka
Barsatein is a very catchy show and the highlight of the show are the leads , Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi, who make for a very attractive and different onscreen pair. The show started on a brilliant note highlighting 2 strong headed journalists who often clash with each other due to their different opinions but when they fall in love , they create fire. The story is interesting , holds a lot of twists , turns , misunderstandings, confusions , new revelations which makes you curious as to what will happen next. It's about a toxic relationship so obviously there will be a lot of heartbreaks too . It's a roller coaster ride 💫
Kushal as Reyansh who is a passionate journalist , the CEO of a news channel but personality wise , he is a misogynist who has never felt love and never loved anybody, and this has left a deep scar in his heart. Kushal plays Reyansh beautifully. The suave personality, his dangerous looks , the voice modulations all add a very sizzling spark to his bad boy character.
Shivangi as Aradhna is also a strong role who is new to the journalism but extremely passionate and holds the drive to achieve her goal and stubborn at it. She essays the role beautifully and adds a tinge of sensitivity and emotion to the character.
Naagin: Prathna-Raghuveer visit Naaglok! (2023)
Wonderful VFx for Naaglok!
Usually , fantasy or supernatural shows in Indian television are also criticised for having low quality VFx. But honestly, I was impressed with the quality of VFx done for portraying the whole sequence of Prathna and Raghu swimming to NaagLok and the whole setup of Naaglok. It looked visually so stunning ! 🌟
To top the episode , Tejasswi as Prathna has been doing a fab job on the show. After naagin1 watching the show just for Teja. And I love how it's going. Her portrayal of being pregnant and feeling the scene is beautiful .The story is super interesting now and it keeps the audience gripped. Looking forward to the next few episodes !
Naagin: Snake attack in Christmas Celebrations (2022)
Cute bond between Preethi-Raghuveer
The whole Christmas celebration bit was so soft and beautiful ! Raghuveer and Preethi have a sweet bond. The way Raghu cares for Preethi , he is always there for her when she is in need of somebody emotionally. Preethi is a golden hearted girl !
The whole fight sequence of Prathna and Mehek was fabulous! Prathna looks stunning in the snake outfit !
Overall , it was a very well executed episode and looking forward to seeing more of the bond between Preethi and Raghuveer aka PreeVeer !
Tejasswi and Sudha ma'am are doing a wonderful job and killing it. Shrey and Maheck are the cherry on the cake!
Naagin: Prathna becomes the MahaSeshnaagin (2022)
Emotional Episode :(
Probably one of the most emotional episodes of the season...
Tejasswi has played Pratha beautifully...We have seen every shade of Pratha from the beginning of the season. Lived her journey from the simple innocent girl in the yellow kurta to a fierce seshnaagin to a loyal wife to the sassy Kiara to a doting mother. She always wanted a normal and happy life with her family and finally when that was happening, she gets killed to protect her daughter... Simba has matured in his acting so much compared to the beginning of the season. Rishabh will be missed onscreen.
But , in the leap track , we see a very heartwarming intro of Prathna in her new avatar and Preethi is the prettiest :)
Looking forward to seeing how she gets back her memory and fights the people who killed her family.
Code Name: Tiranga (2022)
Nice performance
The movie was good. A slightly old and similar storyline. But the performances don't deserve the ratings it is getting right now. Just because Parineeti is not a Kapoor or a Khan , the movie will get trashed this way ? It's unexpected. Parineeti is a stunning and hardworking performer who is exploring as many genres of work possible . Hardy Sandu is a stunner too. Critics need to be less harsh on the non-Kapoor/khan kids. The movie was good , performance was good. Songs were okay. And it definitely deserves an IMDb of 5+ atleast. What's with the 1-2 ratings seriously. It's very unruly and unnecessary.
Mann Kasturi Re (2022)
Great plot and absolutely wonderful performance
It's a wonderful movie to watch. Its not a typical romance and it takes such a turn in the second half which takes you through a thrilling and emotional ride. The music and performance of the actors is great ! Tejasswi-Abhiney chemistry is cute and Tejasswi's presence on screen just added a different vibe and freshness to the movie ! Absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend the movie to others.
Considering it is a regional movie and is shown in less screens , the movie and its performance shouldn't be missed at all. Regional Marathi films like this deserve a lot of love and appreciation.
