Labyrinth (1986)
Classic and Great!
21 March 2004
I have loved this movie since I was young. Now, at 23 years old, I can still get excited and 'spooked' by 'Labrynth.' The story is timeless, the art direction, puppets, cinematography, etc. are extremely well-done, and the acting is top-notch. DAVID BOWIE is amazing, and his composition and performance of these original songs never fails to astound me. Also, he is a fine actor and very seductive and irrestistible as the 'Goblin King.' Jennifer Connelly in one of her first roles plays the whiny teen-ager precisely, and develops throughout the film with the life lessons she learns in the labrynth. DON'T MISS THIS FILM ADVENTURE. It is truly excellent, and all my generation X friends will attest.

Talk to Her (2002)
EXCELLENT FILM!!!
3 April 2003
Recently I have become a huge fan of Pedro Almodovar's work.

This film, "Talk to her (Hable con ella)," along with "All About My

Mother," are creative pieces of genius that should not be

overlooked. The themes of life, love, sexual orientation, endurance,

communication, relations, and more are universal and treated with

great respect. The beautiful cinematography and acting always

adds to Almodovar's films, as well. GO SEE ALL THESE FILMS -

they are unique and wonderful.

Annie Hall (1977)
SOOOO GOOD! Why didn't I see this earlier?

I absolutely loved this film. I am NOT a Woody Allen fan, but watched this movie on the recomendation of my friend. It was a wonderful, witty film. The dialogue was clever, the acting grand and the overall feel of the movie was splendid. I would recommend this comedy to anyone who appreciates a slow-paced, but EXCELLENT film.

Tortilla Soup (2001)
Thoroughly enjoyable film - go rent it!!!
15 July 2002
'Tortilla Soup' was a "scrumptious" delight. The acting was wonderful, especially by the lovable Hector Elizondo. Although the plotline was not unique, it was an endearing, entertaining, well-done film. I believe that anyone who did not like it missed the point. Give yourself a treat - rent it - and enjoy!!! Also, as a bonus, the food in it looks divine

THIS WAS THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME!
15 May 2002
I'm an avid movie-goer, a film buff, and an addict to celebrity gossip. I also have been 'Arts & Entertainment' editor for my high school and college newspapers. I never write on this website, but I had to after watching 'Life as a House.' It was a horrible horrible movie that was a waste of 2 hours. There are no redeeming qualities to this film. It has a horrid plot, pathetic acting (even though Kevin Kline is normally good), bad dialogue, and tasteless content. DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE. IT IS UNBELIEVABLY RIDICULOUS AND BAD. That's all I wanted to say.
