It was OK
20 December 2003
I never really was a big fan of George Clooney. I have to admit though, his husky voice pulls me in. If a movie cannot hold my interest 100% of the time like a good book, then it was OK. I was on the computer like I am now while I was watching the movie. The actors did a good job but I think that the movie should have put a little more emphasis on the killing itself. This is only my opinion because I am into organized crime(fighting it and researching it).

The only good part in my opinion was when the tables were turned on Olivia in the end. I didn't expect that little twist.

I have to give the movie a 6/10 because of my lack of attention span while watching it. I hope George can get more practice with his directing because I think he has great potential.

Oh my gosh!!!

I laughed through this entire movie. There are people who say this movie was not funny. These are probably the same people who don't have a sense of humor whatsoever. There are movies that you can't take seriously.

There is no one else who could have pulled off this movie. I can't wait to see Part II of this movie.

Whoopi (2003–2004)
Stick to Hollywood Squares...
20 September 2003
Because if she came up with those jokes on her new show, I will not like her for the rest of my life. I'm only in the first 5 minutes of the pilot, and I have not cracked a smile yet. I am a comedy lover and if I have not laughed in the first 5 minutes, it's not a good sign. I didn't start laughing until minute 8 when the white girl opened her mouth. I'm a black girl so I think it is so funny when a white girl tries to act black. Otherwise, that's the only thing that's funny. I think the life of this show is numbered. I'm going to make a prediction. This show may not make it past it's first season.

Carrie (2002 TV Movie)
What were they thinking?

Warning: Spoilers
POSSIBLE SPOILERS

I'm usually not aggravated when it comes to movies, especially when the reviews are really bad. I usually like the ones that are hated. This movie was a big disappointment. I found myself saying, "How stupid!" First of all, what's with the meteor shower? I know the movie was highly sci-fi, but they could have kept it a little bit more realistic especially at the beginning of the movie. The actors were horrible to me. Some people are natural actors and good with really feeling the part. I found Rena Sofer's performance less than fulfilling. That portrayer of Sue was just out in space somewhere. Everyone just seemed so inexperienced. Nothing can compare to the Original version.

My apologies Mr. Stephen King. You probably just shook your head in embarrassment. It will be okay. Let's just hope this never happens again.

BraveStarr (1987–1989)
None of my friends remembers this
11 April 2002
I remember Bravestarr and I still remember the theme song. I never forget songs so I remember a majority of the 80s cartoons theme songs. This show was cool. I always watched it right after school. Too bad it didn't last long. I wish I could get all of the 80s cartoons on video because it's wonderful taking trips down memory lane.

Too Funny
24 March 2002
I'm watching the show now and it is hilarious. This is ground-rolling comedy. So what if Jamie Kennedy plays all of the characters. It's no different than a variety show like Mad TV(which is also very funny). And so what if it resembles Candid Camera. Some things shouldn't be compared with other things. It may not last more than 3 or 4 years but it's funny.

Saved by the Bell (1989–1992)
Cool Show and Very Misunderstood
21 March 2002
Till this day I still consider Saved By the Bell one of my favorite series even though I don't watch it anymore. I didn't start watching it until it was in syndication. I thought it was so cute and entertaining. Overall, I see that the reviews are pretty good. I started watching this show while I was a teenager so it seemed real to me and I didn't recognize the "flaws". The people who are commenting on the shows "flaws" are probably not teenagers. This show was not supposed to be realistic(as obvious as that is). It was supposed to be a little off such as leaving campus to go to lunch or the principal chatting with the students. I'm sure this is what the creator intended. I'm sure he knew if he made this show like other shows, it definitely wouldn't have worked. Some shows are just not meant to be analyzed and logically proven. So all you people who are bad criticizers-lighten up. :)

The Godfather (1972)

I will love this movie forever!!!!
26 February 2002
Warning: Spoilers
****POSSIBLE SPOILER****

When I saw this movie for the first time about 2 years ago, I fell in love with it instantly. Everytime I watch it I fall in love with it more and more. The movie is just perfect!! I have never seen Al Pacino play a part like he did in that movie. Not only is he cute but he had his part down-packed. I enjoyed the way that the brothers protected their baby sister Connie. That stupid husband of hers beat up on her while she was pregnant. I wanted to beat the crap out of him. But Sonny did it for me. Unfortunately, the jerk retaliatated against Sonny. I found that part of the movie very sad.

And definitely hats off to Marlon Brando. I found myself sympathizing with him during the movie. He knew when to quit, unfortunately Michael didn't. All I can say is if you've never seen this movie, go out a buy it(not rent it) because you will want to watch it over and over and over again. 10/10

The Exorcist (1973)
9/10
Not scary, but good movie
24 February 2002
I saw The Exorcist today for the first time because I wanted to see what everyone was so scared of. Before I even watched this movie, I knew it wasn't going to bother me. I laughed through most of it. First of all, I am a very devout Christian so I know how Satan can be. So when I saw this movie, I wasn't scared of anything I saw because I am not afraid of the Devil and no one else should be either. But to be totally honest, I'm a little bit more reluctant of movie plots that can't possibly happen in real life. For example, take Freddy Krueger. Till this day, The Nightmare on Elm Street movies still make me flinch. But movies that involve demon possessions don't bother me because I know that stuff happens-look in the Bible for goodness sakes. I know some people say there is no such thing as the devil. For all you science buffs out there, you may believe there isn't. But some people like to look at evil actions from a science and spiritual point of view.
