I like Justin Hartley ....
...but not enough to make me want to continue watching this series. Thought I give it a chance and did so till Ep5. Still nothing that makes me wanna tune nor look forward to next episodes.
Justin is so easy on the eye but can't make me want to continue. He's a bit bland. I love This is Us - but always find his acting not quite there to Milo or Sterling.
So this being show being him as the headliner, I thought it might change my mind. Not really.
I have only so many hours in a day and this tv series not strong enough to keep me wanting to continue. The other casts too not so strong. Storyline still only so so.
Seojinny-ne (2023)
I've always like this!
When I happen to view Youn's Kitchen a few years back, I was hooked!
I love Youn Yuh Jun and I like Lee Teo Jin too! Am a fan.
Also I found this concept quite fun. I love the overseas town they end up in. Also so beautiful.
Yu Mi and Park Seo Jun are also very nice. Ever since then I've been a fan of theirs.
Anyway Jinny's Kitchen is the same/similar except Seo Jin is the head now. Previously Youn Yuh Jun.
Always very entertaining to see them.
Looking forward to new season I hope.
Bring Youn Yuh Jung please.
Also shout out to the director Na Young Seok. I think he's brilliant. I love Unexpected Journey with Youn too Congratulations!
Fool Me Once (2024)
I TRIED TO LIKE IT
I was really looking forward to a thriller. I've been watching too many non-English tv series and was really looking forward to this one.
BUT seriously. The acting is weird. The script is bad. I mean when someone snatched your thumb drive and drove away - wouldn't the first thing to do is to go after or report police whatever.
But Maya just let it be and took her time to try to look for the Nanny.
Yes totally unrealistic. (as one other reviewer put it).
It's also so bloody draggy. So many characters here which makes me wanna slap them. All the actors are just so weird in this series.
Don't waste your time.
FBI: Most Wanted (2020)
Am not enjoying Season 4
After reading some reviews here, I realised I'm not the only one.
I got confused with Dylan McDermott as bad guy Wheatley!
I am surprised they use Dylan because Dick Wolf's shows usually have those 'crossovers'.
After 5 episodes of Season 4, I found it really boring somehow. Dylan is a great actor but somehow in this series don't work for me at least.
Somehow the rest of the casts (while very good) just don't have the 'glue' to keep it together.
Was enjoying Julian McMahon's story and suddenly he's killed off. WTF LOL.
I'm gonna give it a go for now but if there's season 5 I don't think I will continue.
The Horror of Dolores Roach (2023)
Love it! Love it Love!!!
I didn't know what to expect when I decided to watch this. OMG from the 1st episode I was hooked that binged it!
I love dark comedy but this is one of the best in recent time. I love it whenever she say 'I'm going to jail'. I felt I was on the edge throughout as I thought she might go back to jail. I recommend everyone to watch it. I The fact it is about 30mins is just great to binge and I love the pace.
I hope there's season 2. Justina Machado is fantastic in the role. So is Alexandro Hernandez. In fact the casts were just great!
I hope it's not too long before season 2. Amazing! I think this is the to 2023 show for me!!
El silencio (2023)
Give is a miss.
The opening EP1 was quite promising so I decided to watch... But as it continued, OMG it was really painful. It could have been done in 3-4 episodes. The characters especially of Ana is really creepy and F*Up too.
All the characters seems poorly written. The storyline is quite ok but as it continues it kinda lost the plot.
Maybe the writers got tired. It's just dragging for so many episodes just to make it 6 episodes.
Waste of my time that I can't get back. I don't suggest watching. It's really pulling your hair out. Thinking WTH throughout .....
Sorry El Silencio...you should be silenced...
Perfil falso (2023)
Don't judge me LOL I am shallow
The guys are so bloody sexy, ripped and hot & good looking!
The ladies are very beautiful! Sexy!
Scenery is beautiful.
Everything is beautiful, Everyone is beautiful. Sexy.
The plot is and can be quite happening Except that there's so many twist and turn - some parts are so irritating - the fact Camilla keeps exerting herself when she knew Miguel is married - we keep going in circles - wondering why she's still hanging around - draggy to me.
Too many twists and turns that I forget what the heck was happening.
So I just watched for the beautiful people making out. That was my motivation LOL
Of course my curiosity about the ending too made me stick around but the sexy scenes kept me going.
The 5 stars I have given here is for the sexy people. I know I am shallow :p.
Unstable (2023)
I tried liking it...
Yes I did. I even go on watching till episode 4.
But seriously I can't go on. My time is too precious.
I am a Rob Lowe fan and will always check out whatever he's in.
This is another one of his which I cannot stomach. Is Rob so desperate? Is this another one project to help promote his son? Please do better. Get better producers, scripts.
Total cringeworthy. Some of the casts are pretty good but overall it just not working out. Not even funny.
The script is bad, storyline is just not on.
Not even worth as background noise while I do something else.
Rob Lowe definitely can do better. This is definitely not one of it.
Sprung (2022)
Love it! Truly funny!
These are the same cast from Raising Hope and I absolutely loved Raising Hope then. And very sad when it ended.
The casts are brilliant especially Garret Dillahunt & Martha Plimpton! LOVE!!!
Using Covid lockdown as part of the story is so relatable for most if not all. Just reminds me again of the crazy times when the Corona just hit.
Definitely worth watching. Just binge it all the way actually.
I never review anything on IMDB but I seriously hope many people will watch it.
Hope there's another season. I can't get enough of Martha and Garrett. They are both absolutely brilliant together!!!!!
