This is an unfortunately overlooked and underappreciated comedy. It's stems from a romantic comedy, or romcom foundation, but it branches out with a lot of feminist humor, positive stereotypes, and the result is continuous moments of laughter; a "chuckle fest." The great Candace Bergman, Michael Caine, William Shatner, Benjamin Brat and dozens of others all pitch to creat complexity and a continuous stream of situational kicks and giggles that leaves a warm spot in your stomach.
This is also an opportunity to see some credible early work from Sandra Bullock whom we have seen since this film in some of Cinema's greatest roles and achieving the highest achievements.
