another of Superman's greatest enemies arrives
19 August 2008
for all this time, Clark's greatest Nemesis has been the one person he tried so hard to be good friends with: lex luthor. now an even greater evil has arrived, the kryptonian warlord General Zod. at he beginning of the season a ship crashes, that contains 3 disciples, 2 krptonian generals, and the superman villain Milton fine(brianiac). his initial purpose on earth was to gain Clark's trust so he could lure him into a trap to give his master,Zod, a host body so he can exist outside the phantom zone, which is currently located int he fortress. however when briniac discovers Clark's resistance, he changes strategies and chooses lex to be zods vessel. realizing this, Clark's seeks out jor-el for help, jor-el gives him a dagger to kill lex before zod can consume him. however Clark's moral upbringing disallows him from killing anyone and instead turns the dagger on on fine, damaging the fortress and releasing zod from his imprisonment.

Zod is my favorite superman villain, because of his ambition and cunning, this episode is prelude to another episode, where Micheal rosenbaum(lex luthor) playing 2 of Superman's enemies. although i wasn't in favor of the idea, but it is zod so i'll go along with it 10/10

Smallville: Commencement (2005)

exit countess thearoux, enter general zod
19 August 2008
season 4 was definitely one of my favorite season as it had a balance of a dark story and some light heartness than the previous season. during the season Lana is possessed by a 17th century witch, who ironically happens to be your ancestor. Clark on the other hand has refused to locate 3 kryptonian stones, as he just wishes to have a normal senior year, however when the countess,in Lana langs body, stands one the elements in Genevieve teagues blood, it triggers a meteor shower that forces Clark to act on his destiny, its also a consequence of clarks refusal to obey his father.

commencement is not just an episode that adds to the story, its also an episode we can relate too in terms of closing one chapter of our lives and opening another. commencement something we all go through as well as an episode that will leave you wondering what happens next, event if you already do.

how can you argue with this?
5 May 2008
lightspeed rescue was a one of sabans last power rangers, which means its one of the last good seasons, in this one the rangers are recruited by a an underwater science/trainning facility that keeps itself secret until the time comes to bring in the new team of power rangers, each with their own unique talent. they accept their mission and train to defeat the demons. the demons return with the hope of rebuilding their palace for their queen who they intend to revive later as she has been long dormant, only to be haulted by earth greatest heroes. the seasons starts off with the rangers getting use to their new surroundings, building confidence in their team by winning a few battles, then 11 episodes later the fun begins as an old memory returns to haunt one of the rangers. join these new rangers as they search and translate ancient texts in the hope of reimprisoning these demons, trust me , you won't want to miss this season. sure its not the original power rangers, but who is?

power rangers vs super sentai
1 December 2007
its not really a cultural clash between the super sentai and power rangers, its just by using super sentai footage instead of shooting their own it just seems like they are just trying to make a Japanese scene look like their speaking American and also they use the the same scenes more than once, which, in the eyes of some, makes the series seem less impressive. in the episode breaking the spell episode were they free tommy and morph it looks like their standing on a beach and when they are in ranger form, they in the middle of a mountain area which can take the continuity away from the series. but this is American culture, they teach their kids about god and life after death and yet they don't want to show killing on television kid programs. this is where the difference between American and Japanese teaching, in japan they teach kids the consequences of death, destruction and revenge so that the message kicks in at an early age and they don't turn to life of wrong doing. here in the Americanization we just teach kids that aliens or people who are not like us are evil and must be destroyed.if they had done power rangers the same as zyuranger maybe it wouldn't be a bad series in the eyes of so many. culture each day are being compared some think theirs is better than others, but power rangers has its high points, they try to teach kids the value of teamwork and self-respect plus to work hard and take care of your body and mind and to always be strong. lastly they show there always a better way than fighting. nothing is perfect, no matter how much it may seem to be, even culture, but always try to see the high points of something instead of always looking at whats different, maybe we could appreciate something even more, instead of discarding it whenever it becomes to old or something new comes out.however, this is just my opinion how i see it, it may not even be the truth, or it may p.s the music is the most notable thing that separates pr from zyu ranger p.p.s power rangers in space is an awesome story
