Murder Is Like Sex (2009)
Not bad for a first time director
I ended up getting a copy of this film the other day and I will say that for director Keith Boron's first time directing, it's not too shabby. The idea for the storyline is a very interesting one and the variation in locations, editing, and continuity are well-done. The acting is a mixed bag (the stronger performances being given by the main actors) and I would have cast someone with a more mainstream look in the role of popular girl, Michelle Clark, but overall it wasn't as though I was sitting there cringing whenever someone would utter their lines. All in all the story concept is entertaining, the acting isn't too bad and the production quality is overall pretty good for a low budget. I hope that director Keith Boron takes what was learned with this film and applies it to making future ones.
