Assassin's Creed (2007)
Best free-roam game EVER!
I got this game for Christmas on my PS3, although I had played the game on the 360 previously. I have to say, I do not regret getting this game, and I will never allow it to leave my home.
You play as Desmond, a man forced to get into a machine and relive an ancestor's past as an assassin from early 1100 A.D. Every once in awhile you will be pulled out of the machine because of random causes, such as the machine overheating, you need your rest, you need to be spoken to, etc. The best part of this game is the freedom you get anywhere, even during fights and missions. You can climb and hold onto literally anything, including cracks in the wall, bricks sticking out, or windows. My one complaint about this game is when you get Counter Attacks. At first, you are doing great and facing an ass load of men, and your scared like hell. Then when you get Counter, you can do 1 hit kills on almost everyone, you can basically run out into the open, kill a load of ordinary people(Not recommended, seeing as how you lose 3 bars whenever you kill 1 person), get almost 30 guys surrounding you, and easily take them out within 5 minutes.
Graphics- 10/10 Gameplay- 9.5/10 Story- 9/10 Music- 10/10 Overall(Not averaged)- 10/10
[eM] -eNCHANT arM- (2006)
Pretty, but not beautiful
I believe this game has some potential, but it wouldn't really be called the best RPG on the PS3. It does compare to titles such as Final Fantasy and Rouge Galaxy, but it no where near compares to games such as Oblivion and PS Universe. If you have played Final Fantasy Tactics, they have similar battle systems. It is grid based battling, where each take turns picking the characters to move and when moving them, picking where to strike on the opponents side of the grid. Much like Battleship, really, except you can see your opponents pieces, and they can see yours. The graphics aren't a big step from PS2 to PS3, or Xbox to Xbox 360, although you will find the graphics amazing if you had just switched from last gen to current gen gaming, if you own games such as Oblivion and Assassins Creed(With the incredible graphics), you will not find these graphics to be very special or even good, for that matter. If you get this game, you will probably get in about 80 hours before continuing on to a different game. You may want to be aware, if you are against homosexuals, be warned, because there is a female in this game, sort of trapped inside a males body, meaning he is a homosexual. A cross dresser, is a better word for it. And he expresses his homosexuality with pride, which does not bother me, but may offend some.
Halo 3 (2007)
Wow. Can you say 'Overrated'?
This game was fun, but the online wasn't THE BEST ONLINE EXPERIENCE EVER, like most people say. And the Legendary ending, where it turns out Master Chief is alive? That is bullshit for them to say that is the last game, but keep him alive so they can make another Halo game! I think they need to stop the series right now. Over 80mil on the first release? That is probably the dumbest thing any of us could have done. It looked good, but that doesn't mean you need to waste 80mil on this damn game on the first day! Ohhh, I can get a gay little extra disc, Im gonna spend $20 over the price to get it! Ohhh, a collectors helmet! Im gonna pay $60 over the price to get it! What is wrong with you people?! I am disappointed in anyone who bought the Legendary Edition! Its just a freaking helmet people, get over it!
Killzone (2004)
Best FPS ever made.
This has to be THE(or damned near) best FPS game ever to come out. I enjoy Halo, but it is extremely overrated, and to me, it is just another Alien Shoot-Em-Up. Killzone is quite hard to the average gamer, because there are no difficulties to choose from. All gamers will be playing the exact same game, same number of stages, same AI difficulty, and the exact same number of soldiers. This game has quite a wide variety of guns and weapons. Although there is campaign mode, I suggest playing with a friend 1 on 1. It is the most enjoyable way of learning how to play the game and mastering the weapons before you even have a chance to pass the first stage on campaign. This game is pretty hard to the average FPS fans, but if you are a hardcore gamer, this game is definitely for you.
