The Big Lebowski (1998)

How on earth is this funny?

I've read about 100 comments on this film and didn't find any negative ones. To me that's very weird since this film only has about 5 memorable laughs.

You can predict every single joke miles ahead, the one with the ash in 'dudes' face at the top spot.

Then that guy dies in the end.. what about that? I didn't feel any connection to any of the characters, so I couldn't care less..

This film could be funny when you're high on weed, but everything is funny then.

If you're looking for stupid practical joke stuff, watch this. Otherwise don't ever bother and watch a Friends rerun instead. Even that is more funny when you watch it for the tenth time.

Joey (2004–2006)

I think I'm not the only one watching this show with hopes that it's going to get better. It's just dumb comedy.. Now I realize how well balanced Friends was. There always was something viewers liked about an episode.. If you didn't like one story in an episode you did like the other two or sometimes three. The level of sophistication was the highest of all sitcoms ever and THAT was the brilliance of the show.

Joey just s*cks on all fronts.. No intelligent & suggestive jokes, no lovable characters, no interesting stories, no multiple story lines. It's just so bad and predictable.. If it wasn't a spin off it would have been taken off the air after three episodes because no-one was watching the show.

The only way the show deserves a second season is if they do the following:

• kick agent Bobby out of the show (she would win an Emmy award for most annoying and absolutely not funny character year after year, if it existed)

• kick Joey's sister out of the show (she's stupid in a not funny way, and the 'dramatic' scenes just don't work..)

• Do multiple story lines in one episode, at least 2, but 3 as a standard)

• Include other apartments of the building. Introduce new lovable characters with brains (not like the nerd neighbour). Joey's nephew is smart but his lines are not, so that should change too.

Well that's about it. Go do your job writers, cause you haven't done it successfully in the first 8 episodes. The ONE AND ONLY REASON YOUR SHOW HAS HIGH VIEWING RATES IS BECAUSE IT'S A FRIENDS Spin off AND PEOPLE ARE WONDERING IF IT GOING TO GET BETTER. Use that while you can, because people are losing faith.

Wild Things 2 (2004 Video)

As dumb as storylines can get

If you have seen the first Wild Things film and enjoyed it, don't see this one. In the first film I was pleasantly surprised by the great storyline, thinking it was just some lame story with two girls making out (based on the trailer I saw in the theatre).

Well, in part two they did exactly what I first expected of part one. First you think.. what the h*ll?! This story is almost identical as part one only with other actors! In the second half of the film it takes a different route, but it's not before the girl-girl-guy scene ;) They even made the scene twice as long.

*SPOILERS*

The detective arrests the ensurance guy because he saw the security camera tape placed next to the dead body in his trunk. What killer would place a tape, which could be evidence against him, next to the victim in the trunk of his car? What detective would believe that this wasn't a set up?

The guy found in the crashed plane was already dead for a year (he looked pretty hilarious) and they didn't see that? (or checked the dental record for that matter) That's just stupid because they did find a clue in the stomach of a rat that was in the same plane..

Well almost everyone dies in the end and then the presumed dead earlier in the film arise. I like twists, but they have to be believable and clever.. These ones weren't

Overall the story has too many sudden changes in plans by non predicted events, so it could never have been planned beforehand by mom and daughter.

A good laugh though: the guy falling from the plane and has no parachute but some cut up newspapers in the backpack. Hilarious. You can almost see him laying on a blue screen.

8 Women (2002)

Definitely a movie for people who want to see something different !

I wasn't sure if i was going to like this movie but since there were no other good movies playing, we decided to go to 8 femmes.. I must say it surprised me with it's original plot ! The songs were nice, even though i don't like musicals. It was fun to watch !
