Fallout (2024)
Pretty good but it has a cringey feel to it!
I recently caught the Fallout TV series and it's definitely an interesting watch. There were moments that felt a tad cringey, especially with some of the acting, but I have to admit, the gore was on point. It's a bit of a mixed bag - some scenes really nail it, while others fall a bit short. Still, I'd say it's worth giving it a shot. Personally, I found myself enjoying it despite the occasional awkward performance. You can tell they really invested heavily in production - the sets, props, and effects are top-notch. Surprisingly, it exceeded my expectations. That said, there's room for improvement, particularly in the acting department. It feels like they may have prioritized visuals over casting, but hey, it worked out pretty well in the end. Overall, a solid effort, but there's definitely potential for even greater things with some tweaks here and there.
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Mad Max Is Awsome!
I checked out this movie a couple of years ago and ended up watching it a few times - which is saying something because I usually never do that! But this one? It felt brand new every single time. I'm not kidding when I say I'm the type who can't sit through a movie or series twice, no matter how much I've forgotten. Yet, this flick has some magic that keeps pulling me back in.
I'm already planning to give it another go right before the sequel drops - fingers crossed they keep up the trend of making those creepy guitar guys look ridiculously cool! But enough joking around. From what I recall, this movie is seriously awesome. If you're into action, it's a must-watch. There's hardly any downtime; it's almost all action and suspense, with just enough dialogue to keep things rolling. And it's got this unique vibe, you know? The director nailed it - it's like a fresh take on the whole action genre, especially for a film from 2015. It's like Marvel villain movies, but cranked up to the max. Definitely worth your time.
Road House (2024)
I like it but i dont like it
The movie was alright, but man, I got real hyped when I saw Post Malone pop up on the screen for like a solid five seconds. Then poof! He vanished, never to be seen again. It's like they dangled this exciting cameo carrot in front of us and then snatched it away.
Don't get me wrong, the film is well-made. There are some killer fight scenes and all, but honestly, it's the kind of movie you put on in the background while you're doing something else, like playing a game. When I watched it, I couldn't sit still. It felt oddly empty, even though there was all this excitement going on. The setting gives me serious Outer Banks vibes, but something about it just doesn't quite click. It's like there are pieces missing, and the whole thing just doesn't make sense.
Your Lucky Day (2023)
Very good! Just a bit to long movie for what it was
Alright, so full disclosure, I mainly tuned in because of Angus - that dude was awsome fly high! But you know what? The movie surprised me, it's actually pretty solid. It really gets you in the feels, and the gore scenes? Not bad at all, definitely better than some other flicks I've seen. The ending? That's where it's at, really ties things together. The beginning's decent too, but that middle part? Nah, not my cup of tea. Overall though, it's like a wild rollercoaster ride, with ups and downs but totally worth the ticket. I feel like it could have been executed a tiny bit better! But also not saying anything was done wrong because i cant point out what i would have changed! Might just be because i dont like single set movies!
La casa de papel (2017)
Has to be my all time favorite tv show!
Seriously, Money Heist is awesome! Whenever a new season drops, I dive right in and binge-watch it in a day, no breaks allowed! This show takes you on a wild ride of emotions. It's exhilarating and you become so invested in the characters, feeling like you're part of the heist in some way. It's just fantastic! Although, I must admit, it can be a bit confusing at times with all the flashbacks and whatnot. But overall, it's amazing! I even tried watching the Korean version, but it just didn't compare. If you're a fan of action-packed heist dramas, Money Heist is a must-watch. It's packed with thrilling scenes and some really touching moments.
