Futurama: Jurassic Bark (2002)
The saddest thing I've ever seen...
Jurassic Bark is certainly the best Futurama episode ever. I know that this has been said a million times, but this episode is also the saddest... I'm not a BIG animal lover, but it's impossible not to cry at the end, or at least be REALLY REALLY sad.I've been able to watch it completely only 1 time. There's not much to say without revealing anything, but all contribute to the unique atmosphere not present in any other episode. I can't believe that futurama didn't won the Emmy for the best animated program in 2003 by presenting "Jurassic Bark". It is a hundred time better than "Roswell that ends well".
10/10 You must watch it even if you're a big Futurama hater !
Good Luck Chuck (2007)
Warning, this movie could burn your eyes and your ears!
When I first saw the trailer, I thought it will be a nice little movie, not Oscar worthy, but at least good. WRONG ! There's so much sex scenes, sex jokes, sex is everywhere. The story could have make a great movie. But no, you will only hear about sex during 90 minutes. Seriously, I didn't laugh one time during the movie. I watched it with my mom and this was more disturbing and embarrassing than anything I've ever seen. Actors aren't bad, they're actually pretty good, but that's not enough to make the movie interesting. Don't rent it, don't even watch it on TV.
2/10
I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)
Creepy atmosphere + Great cast = I Know What You Did Last Summer
I can't count all the slasher movies that were produce during The 80's and 90's and I don't remember half of them. Some were good... a lot wasn't...
Do I really need to summarize the story, I mean, almost everyone know it. The story is about four teens who got an accident and unfortunately killed a man. One year later, they receive strange letter telling them that someone know what they did.
The movie create a great and creepy atmosphere that will captivate you until the end and maybe more. It's not just murder from the beginning to the end with a lot of gore. No, it's more psychological. I saw this movie for the first time when I was 9 or 10 years old and today, I'm always scared when I watch it.
Another important element is characters. I must admit that at some moment, they can appear a little "cliché" but we really care about what will happen and if he or she will survive. A key element in horror movies.
What can I add except that the cast is great, specially Sarah Michelle Gellar. A movie that really deserve to be watch. A classic!
