George (1972)
Very Watchable and Good For Kids
I am a male whose favorite movies include Bad Taste and Sweet Movie. However, George was a nice light-hearted diversion. It was very watchable and the scenery was gorgeous. Excellent family movie. It was made about 20 years before Beethoven. I am not a veterinary expert, but I think St. Bernards are around 150lbs, not 250 as stated.
The Great Riviera Bank Robbery (1979)
Excellent, True Heist Story
This movie was released on VHS back in the 1980's, and is very difficult to find (at least in N. America). I really hope a DVD edition comes out soon. Excellent movie! By chance, right after I saw it, The Learning Channel (TLC) aired a special called "Daring Capers: Plunder Under Nice". The movie was very accurate and realistic. It's nice to see a movie without Tom Cruise heroics. I would rate it 9-out-of-10.
Age of Consent (1969)
Watchable Eye Candy
The story rather plodded along, but the scenery was gorgeous, and Ms. Mirren's big-boned British bod kept my attention. Perhaps they could do a remake starring the equally-bodacious Kate Winslet. She could possibly pass as being under the Age Of Consent. This movie was never released in North America on video. I give it 7/10.
