wonderful, funny show!!

i love this show!!, i own many of the episodes , and it has been my favorite for quite a few years. chris barrie, craig charles, and of course danny john-jules were all wonderful and hilarious in this show. the cat was my favorite character! it is one of the best english sit com's ever made!!

The Crimson Cult (1968)

very insane, bizarre karloff film, possibly best known to people by the crimson altar

this is a very underrated film. i guess people, who were fans of karloff's frankenstein, monster years were more glued to formula of his monster acts. but, this film was half and half, it had it's strengths and weaknesses, of what Karloff was trying to prove through this role, to his fans, from witch this role takes him many light years away from his monster years, as he plays a corrupt man who causes strange things to happen. this film also includes film noir-classic film english actor Michael Gough. and, monster movie favorite Christopher Lee. this film, surprisingly, for not so much recognition, it was regarded as a flop, for his final big movie like this one. until he made 4 final low budget motion pictures in Mexico, witch all of those did not receive too much recognition. i was shocked about this movie too, cause of given it's rating of PG, it has a lot of mature content. some critcs and reviewers rate this move as being, a total waste of time, and acting, then remark, being given karloff's final way, until he made 4 low budget films in mexico, as explained. this film could be a delight to karloff fans, who want to see karloff in non'monster movie roles. this film also goes by many alternate titles.

One Eight Seven (1997)

one of my favorite Jackson films!!

this may not be a pulp fiction type jackson film, but, i really enjoyed this movie. it was gritty, intense and realistic. this film follows Jackson as garfield, a man who is critically injured in a new york school, and decides to move and work in a dangerous, unsafe school environment in los angeles. where he confronts, student gang wars, and then finds the students themselves hard to deal with, and finds a few who just want attention from there teacher, garfield. John heard plays a very riveting/insane role as a violent/homicidal like teacher. jackson then trys to help them out. the only thing i found a bit of a disapointment, was the women who played the teacher who fell in love with garfield a short time. i thought she ruined certain strong points to the movie. i enjoyed clifton collins jr's role, as an aggressive student who is very hard to garfield, and start's to play mixed mind games with him, that was very fun to see him that way. i thought the female student, that found jackson's character, garfield attractive was very good in this movie too. very taught suspenseful thriller is one of jackson's best.

this is a wonderful DVD compilation of one of the best 80's political like rock bands of the late 70's, 80's and today. it is great that this DVD shows the complete collection of the oil's best work's including their overall complete music videos and live performances they have performed throughout the years. there are some interviews with the band members themselves. my favorite videos and songs are, beds are burning, and the 1986 classic, the dead heart, for me, for some reason i find the setting of the video very funny, when their out in the desert wearing their plaid shirts, and hat's. plus great live performance songs include short memory and harrisburg, and read about it, a great video too. the best of both world's video is very bizarre.

i love this DVD music video. it's packed with all of Georges greatest videos. it even has interview footage with parkinson, of the parkinson show, witch had featured many celebrities on the show over the years. i love all of the videos. recommended for ages 13 and up.

Little Monsters (1989)

may be a disappointment to some viewers.

i thought this film was going to be fun. i remember seeing this film, when i was little, and since i was so young, i couldn't remember too much. so, i thought of it as a fun movie, some of the elements in the beginning were kind of cute, and had some fun moments with fred savage and howie mandel. until, i was watching it more, it was beginning to become extremely dull and unexciting, and the film was losing all of it's fun! the jokes were sick indeed, but were not funny at all. i think Howie was trying too hard to be like the comedy persona of beetlejuice, but it just didn't work. i did not laugh at all. i thought that when the story was moving from fun like times, to dull times was a complete mess, and really ruined the movie very much. this film is not made to be a family film, it's more for Teens and adults. cause there is a lot of hidden adult humor as well. anyway, it was funny for a little bit, but then was just kill the monsters, after having fun with the monsters attitudes. highlights: there a few fun songs, and that's it. and, some of the set designs looked very tim burton movie like set. it was a well done set. well, see this movie if you like, but then, it may become a disappointment to the eye.

Dream a Little Dream (1989)

Comedy and heavy drama mixed into one

well corey feldman and corey haim, have proved themselves as being fun loving teen idols through the mid-late 80's, this time, it was time for some changes in pace of their own acting. Both of the corey's star as best friends, who do their own things, and have their own suave styles. while an old man played by Jason Robards, whom both corey's stumble onto his property for short cuts, on thieir way to school every morning, start to be annoyed of eachother. until, one night feldman is accidently bumped into his love interest (meredith Salenger) there both knocked out cold that night, until the next morning, he awakens, and discovers, that Robards is inside of him, and Feldman is inside of robards. they both start having this conversations together, giving eachother directions, on what to do with themselves. so, for over a few days, feldman must go around to get himself back inside of him, while robards is in search of his wife. this wrote written for haim,is very rude and was a little unfun to see him that way. i loved corey feldman's dress styles, and his dance inpressions of Michael Jackson. this was a nice teen comedy. and was very intense at the same time. i enjoyed it very much.

Undisputed (2002)

intense boxing fights, great performances by wesley and ving.

Unidisputed, was indeed a hard-hitting boxing drama about a tough boxer played by ving rhames who is sent to jail for a crime. and, see's all of these boxing fights going on, witch features the boxers most strongset man. (snipes) this film was very fun to see snipes and rhames cherograph their own boxing fight scenes.

Dunston Checks In (1996)

i thought this movie was fair, even though many people did not enjoy this movie too much. i love the scene with Jason alexander, and paul reubens as la farge and glenn shadix having this silly conversation together. i thought it was so silly, when Eric Lloyd had a pet monkey.

Smoke (1995)

i thought that this movie was wonderful. harvey keitel, william hurt and forest whitaker do a wonderful job in this movie!! it is filmed in new york city, and this film also features ashley judd, stockard channing (grease) both with blonde hair, strange. this film is cleverly directed by wayne wang. i thought all of the dialogue spoken from keitel, hurt and whitaker was wonderful. and, forest whitakers son in the movie, is also a great actor. i loved their father/son relationship together. keitels long monologue scene, was sad, funny, and moving. fun movie.

Desperado (1995)

Bloody action, escapist romp is a masterpiece!!

this was the best role i have seen antonio in since Ballistic: ecks vs. sever, even though people and critics slammed ballistic. this was a classic banderas film, and shows so much bloody gory action from the shootouts from El Mariachi. this is the sequel to El Mariachi. Mariachi goes out on a bloody vendetta against the corrupt criminals led by Joaquim De alemeida (clear and present danger) is very intense. and is fun to see him in this role. Salma Hayek (frida) was wonderful as usual as a girl banderas meets. then there is appearances by quentin tarantino and cheech marin. fun action movie! you will love it!!

My Own Private Idaho (1991)

classic reeves/phoenix film with great director and cast

this was a very dramatic/poetic film from gus van sant (drugstore cowboy) that stars keanu reeves and river phoenix who have a very big loving relationship together. by having their mixed emotional, and feelings together on their trips. this film also stars Flea, James Russo and Udo Kier who played Hans, the one who sang that strange german song for keanu and river was fun. great movie if you love films by keanu and river.

Young Guns II (1990)

just as fun as the original

this sequel follow up was just as fun as the first. returning emilio estevez, kiefer sutherland lou diamond phillips reprising their roles, as what they performed in the original. it was fun to see christian slater, alan ruck and balthazar getty as the new guys. william petersen does a convincing, hard edged job playing pat garrett. (patrick wayne in the first) i was surprised this film is PG-13, but, could have been close to being R to me, cause of it's sexual scene, and violence. James Coburn was also in this movie, as well as the lord of the ring's viggo mortensen. film is just as fun as the first, and has many fun action scenes throughout the entire film.

i like this movie. i thought the strong, brutal and belivable performances by, sean penn, gary oldman, ed harris and robin wright were terrific. this movie is set in New York, the Irish mob in hell's kitchen, where penn and oldman play gangster criminals who try to get more out of thmselves. from al of this violence they have caused. and dealing with their emotions. this film was very violent, but, is very well done with brilliant actring and casting.

Men at Work (1990)

Emilo Estevez and charlie Sheen both star as garbage men who sneak up into this woman, Susan's window, then carry a weapon, and accidently shoot susan's husband. then, the police start chasing after the both of them, when they were convicted of the crime, and when they were being folloed. there other Cool friend played by wonderful actor Keith David is very slick and funny in this movie role. being their man, who helps them to hide the body. this movie was funny, and had a fun old school soundtrack.

Kindergarten Cop (1990)

this movie was hilarious!! i loved how his character was undercover as a teacher, and didn't have much experience with kids was funny. and telling them to shut up was funny and reading them stories. i loved how he ws trying to get along with all of the kids, and being silly with himself. this movie was absolutely hilarious, and is very funny.

Gleaming the Cube (1989)

fun movie, if you like Slater films.

this movie was fair, and most of the time was fun to watch. i'm not a fan of skateboarding, but, it was fun to see slater's character go after the man for his brother's death. and to see christian with short spikey blonde hair, and wearing a dangly earring. his brother was fun to see on screen. some action in this film to keep you excited.

Young Guns (1988)

this was an excellent film. it had an outstanding supporting cast performances by these young actor's who become teen idols during the 80's, and still famous now. i thought it was great when they had terence stamp in the film as john tunstall. and, rugged actor jack palance in the film. there is so much action in the film, you will be blown away. i thought it was interesting to see them traveling as a group, to go on a personal vendetta against jack palances cowboys. then having billy the kid as their leader. (estevez) who was very homicidal in this film. i loved lou diamond phillips performance in the movie as chavez. and, dermot mulroney who was chewing tobacco throughout the film was nasty, but is strange. and the fearful one, charlie, played by casey siemasko. charlie sheen is in this movie too. this film is over 102 minutes, but seems longer the first time you watch it. great action, and seeing all of billy's gang having different opinions, hobbies and feelings was also very interesting. Rated R for violence.

Twins (1988)

i love this movie, throughout. even Schwarzennegger and Devito look nothing alike for twins, this movie was hilarious. my favorite scene was the beginning where scharzennegger is eating food, from different restuarants in the opening devito was also hilarious in this role. and when their with their dates, that was hilarious.

Clean and Sober (1988)

Keaton is so believable in this movie!

this movie was very dark, but, it shows and teaches you how bad drugs really are. michael keaton is sent to drug rehab, for his strong drug abuse and use through people he had talked to, and strangers, and the rehab tries to teach him a lesson to learn. morgan freeman is wonderful in this movie, as another man in the rehab with keaton. very strong, compelling drama, that is very watchable, and intersting.

Dead Aim (1987)

independent cop film should be more recognized

Dead aim is a very intense/suspensful cop thriller that is fun. Ed marinaro's role as det. malcolm douglas plays a very dedicated role as the police officer, who is on the line between justice and revenge. Mace who is douglas's nick name is fighting between two gang's taking place in atlanta, georgia, one russian gang led by Harry Goz's character androsov is very interesting. and his right hand man Epi Flexnor, played by character actor rick washburn was very intense. and of couirse the cool gang led by Jamal played by Isaac Hayes was fun, to see him with an accent. mace is caught in between two worlds of gangs. he also investigates the murder's of the herion overdoses of a few exotic dancers. the film's supporting cast also includes, Corbin Bernsen(la law, Major league) william sanderson (blade runner) , john hancock and william windom star in this film. later in the film, it get's more disturbing to what happens to the featured characters. there some action scenes, but is fit to be a police drama. this film was very realistic, intense cop film that people may enjoy, if they like cop films. the film is very short, it should have been a little longer, and the ending is a little confusing and surprising. i like those kind of endings for films of all categories, cause, you get to make it up your own ending. Mace is also a lonesome cop with out any partner. who also falls in love with exotic dancer amber played by cassandra gava. at times mace could be very sypithetic cop. this film is recommended if you can find it. it is only on VHS. i hope one of these days it will be on DVD. this film was also never released in theatres. very independent. it is very hard to find in video stores.

Gung Ho (1986)

my favorite michael keaton comedy

this was my all time favorite michael keaton comedy. it was hilarious and refreshing. i loved the relationship between keaton and wonderful actor Gedde Watanabe was wonderful. i was very happy that this film had alot to do with Japan. and the car manufacturing of Japan. i was very happy to see Sab Shimono in this film too. classic, cute comedy.

Nightmares (1983)

i thought this movie was a bit disappointing. it was cheesy in many ways. i thought the story where emilio estevez stars as a video game junkie, and cannot take his eyes off the screen, from the girl who likes him, and homework he has to do, and overeacting about things was overly stupid. cause, that cannott happen in real life either. and, it was silly of how his obsession with video games, causes him to be inside one. the other story segements like that one, were all badly acted, written and dull. this film without any doubt is a dud.

Mr. Mom (1983)

old looking camera lensed, underated keaton comedy is funny

it was fun, and hilarious to see michael keaton in this role as a working man, who's wife becomes the working girl, and he becomes a househusband. raising his kids. i thought when he got so much use to, becoming a househusband, he got fat, and grew a very big beard was funny, when he was hanging out with a lot of women friends.

Trouble Every Day (2001)

pure, bloody film, with wonderful actor's to make this movie great!

i thought this was a well done gory film, witch was filmed in france throughout europe, witch depicts a bloody fairy tale between vincent gallo, and trecia vessey. the two couple on on a vacatiohn together, romantic one, and find this woman known as core, played by wonderful actress beatrice dalle. (night on earth) , who has an obsession with darkness, and the blood that she is surrounded by. gallo also has a very bad side to him, where he is trying to cure himself, from what is happening to him throughout the film. this film is very gory, and has a fair storyline that makes this movie unbreakably beautiful. see it, if you love gore, and dark fairy tale horror like stories. the scene where dalle is covered with blood is a classic.
