This part of the trilogy must be a joke
16 November 2003
I wonder if Wachowski brothers remember the first one. This third one does not have ANYTHING in common with the beginning except for the characters and the special effects. If you understood something from "The Matrix (1999)" then you should avoid this one. Will disappoint you.

Too much theater in a movie
11 February 2003
I mean, they fight like lads. Even a girl will keep a sword more strongly than this. There is a scene where a wood door is blown away with one foot kick. Peter Hewitt (I) must never have seen a wood door or he must think that in good old England, the wood doors must be something like todays done-in-a-day houses in US.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like the story and all. I appreciate the fact that it's not a bloody movie. But it could use a director who knows his work better than this one.

This is SOOOO fake
19 January 2003
This movie is SO fake. Even Tom and Jerry gags seem more believable than the ones in this movie. Over-complicated and over-elaborated script with no moral in the final. I hate this kind of movie. Many movies where Michael Douglas plays are very elaborated but this one it's just too much for my taste.

Quite *very* funny
4 September 2002
I don't know why a lot of people around here seem not to like it. I laugh at it from the begining to the end. My friends also did. Doesn't have intelligent jokes but... it's a casual *good* American comedy. A nice movie to see when you are in a bad mood.

A film for history hero lovers
4 September 2002
Anyone who like hero movies will love this one. And that's not the only thing. Sergiu Nicolaescu made this movie as the first in the world (as far as I know) with battle scene that looks real enough to get you on your toes. And that doesn't mean lot of blood but the way that the camera follows the action, big action of the troops and instant local action of "mano a mano" fight.
