The Marvels (2023)

Marvel, please do better!

This film felt like a "Filler Movie" to just create some potential future storylines. I am the exact type of fan that Marvel studios loves, because I go to every single movie (often 2-3 times per film), subscribe to all platforms, and I spend money on ALL of it. As a fan I would typically rate any Marvel film higher on IMDB because I want to see Marvel and the films succeed, but this one I rated a 4... I probably should have rated it a 3. If you went to see this movie and haven't kept up with all of the movies and Disney plus series, you will be scratching your head wondering what is going on. The Marvels is cringey in every possible way... the only part I enjoyed was the post credit scene. Marvel, please do better! As a fan I look forward to the blockbuster films and they have progressively gotten worse over the past 2 years. I wanted to love this movie and I truly was let down.

So far fetched, So ridiculous, So predictable, and So freaking Stupid. Olivia Pope described as some "Superwoman" fixer who is Strong and powerful ends up becoming a whiney little crybaby by the 2nd season and displays some of the worst acting I have ever seen. The acting displayed in this series proves that ANYONE at all can get themselves an acting gig. You will be so sorry that you spent time watching Scandal and lost all of these precious hours of your life. Looking at the reviews this Soap Opera is getting here on IMDB tells me that the network must've paid people to rate this a 10 to avoid disgrace. Because anyone who rated this disaster anything above a 2 is a complete idiot and should have their heads checked.

Kerry Washington aka "Olivia Pope" is absolutely ridiculous in this series. I was forced to watch the series because my wife was into this and couldn't stop watching it. For me it was torture. The idea of a "Fixer" controlling the President and the entire White House because of her powerful attitude is just way out in left field. I couldn't even stand to see her face towards the middle of the series... the only character I could get behind was the Story of "Huck" and his issues with being a murderous torturous ex military secret spy. My advice is to watch something else.

Honestly I couldn't make it through the first episode. Unbelievably slow and stupid. I give this two thumbs down.

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

A Homerun for the MCU

What do you get when you bring together over 20 of the most talented actors of all time to team up in an effort to save the planet from extinction? Infinity War.... I was blown away by the emotion I felt throughout this movie and I just didn't want it to end. I'm a huge fan of the MCU and before seeing Infinity Wars I watched all of the other Marvel movies in sequence to prepare myself for this masterpiece... let's just say that I was not disappointed by any means. Josh Brolin did an awesome job playing Thanos. I will most likely see this film 3 or 4 more times in theaters before owning it on DVD and Digital. Don't even pay attention to Anyone who rated this movie low (1 thru 5), these people don't have an understanding or the MCU and therefore cannot fully grasp all that this movie masterpiece really offered.
