A more faithful version of the Street Fighter than the movie
18 February 2008
In the mid 90s, USA created a Street Fighter series that followed some aspects of the 1994 film and mainly attempted to keep it close to the source material.

In the show, Guile leads a task force of Street Fighters to stop global terrorism, usually, M. Bison's Shadaloo. Some of the changes of the movie (Balrog a good guy and Dee Jay a bad guy) were corrected to the original storyline, special moves were more prominently featured and characters like Akuma and Feilong, who were left out of the movie featured in the show.

Other movie changes/additions like Chunli being a reporter, Zangief aligned with Shadaloo and the existence of movie character, Sawada were kept. This led to a pretty decent vibe to the show.

In addition, characters from other Capcom games were featured most notably the Street Fighter Alpha and Final Fight series.

When I was a teenager I enjoyed this show because of the action-packed nature of the show, which was carried over from the video game it's based on. I give Street Fighter a perfect 10/10.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (2003–2005)

What a strange show this is. To think that Toonami picked it up in the first place is strange. Strange or not this anime is freaking cool.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (or Bo x7) is an anime about the titular character mostly know as just Bobobo and his allies stopping an evil group called the "Hair Hunt Troop" from shaving the world's populous bald. Even some members of the Hair Hunt Troop align themselves with Bobobo after he defeats them.

The catch of this show is the amount of weird and borderline absurdest humor from Bobobo, the majority of his allies and just about everyone else in the show. At one point Bobobo or one of the others are fighting an opponent, out of nowhere somebody (usually Bobobo or Don Patch, a character shaped like the sun with legs) does something completely random to what they were doing, sometimes effecting the outcome of the first thing they were doing.

The show was written with many Japanese jokes, with the English dub came, they re-wrote many of the jokes, making the show even weirder.

This show's hilarious, though the absurdity of the show is too much for some, I recommend you watch it once. Some hate it, some like it, but I'm certain most will be entertained by Bo x7's random humor instead of put off by it.

The Best of Power Rangers
8 August 2004
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was not only the best Power Ranger show and a memorable kids show, but it also deserves a place up there with Ninja Turtles and Dragonball Z. For those who say the rangers had NO personality whatsoever and just one slight stereotypical trait, are sadly mistaken. Each character have many dimensions to them.

Also the rangers were real martial artists or gymnasts that added a fast pace to the action. The cast were not the most seasoned actors, but it was a kid's show, they did not need to be.

IF you come across this gem of a show, I suggest you watch it. If not for the battles in the show, then for the hilarity of Bulk and Skull.

City Guys (1997–2001)
Roll With The City Guys
26 August 2003
This was a very cool show, almost like SBTB the second coming. Each character on the show had a special trait that made City Guys unique and awesome. Like all Peter Engel shows this one was constipated with morals and life lessons, and like SBTB it had a very, very strict prinipal figure, however, mix that with the main two characters (Chris and Jamal) and the great writing of the series and it is a very decent show.

This is the only show I watched on TNBC and I'm glad to have seen it. Take it from me folks City Guys is one great show.

Gary the Rat (2000 Video)
Gary Andrews is Fraiser Crane with no morals
4 July 2003
Gary the Rat is TNN's best cartoon on their block, Gary is mildly funny and the majority of it has dry hummor and crude violence. Gary and Fraiser are on being in this show, the difference is Gary is a rat and he is somewhat of a bad guy, but overall he has the same woman problems that Fraiser does.

The downfall of the show is that dumbass guy and his cat, they suck and are completely unnesccisary, to the plot, all he does is try to kill Gary. He botches every attempt because he's such an idiot, what a dumb fool.

All and all I'll watch Gary if I need some time to kill before going to bed after work.

EXCALLIBER....BE MY STRENTGH
20 June 2003
This show was so frikkin awesome, it was too bad it was so underrated, or else it would still be on.

The story was great and the characters were just awesome. The crowning point of the show was the vairious wepons used on both sides of good and evil. Battering rams, spirit animals, one of the bad guys could fly, now that is awesome.

Very good show, I deffintly recomend it to anyone who loves action.

Snorks (1984–1988)
This is what happens when you try to drown a Smurf
31 May 2003
They loose their blue color and adapt to the water. Seriously, I loved this show it was cool, it featured four freinds (Fred Jones like leader All Star, the tomboy, Casey, Tooty who comunicates with .....well....toots and the Daphaine wanna be uh Daffeny in missadventure under the sea. All Star's DOG, Occy and brillient Uncle Galeo get in the act as well.

My favorite character was Junior, he was Brainy Smurfs underwater clone, well if Brainy was spoiled and rich. I miss this show it was awesome.

Fillmore! (2002–2004)
Everybody Runs
8 March 2003
I have to say Disney struck gold with this show, and I'm finding that I really enjoy it very much. For a kids show it is very intellegent and intreauging characters like Fillmore, Ingrid Third and the principal of the school really intrest me.

The downfall to it is the catchphrases for one

Fillmore: Disqo Ingrid: Crackers

They say them to often also why do all the villains think they can run? It never works and could get kind of old. However it's really great family entertainment for all ages and I highly recomended it for anyone.

PS The intro song rules.

Mediocre at best
8 March 2003
I seen all the reviews that came before mine and I heard good things of NWA TNA. I decided to spend my ten bucks to see this, and to tell you the truth I was kinda disappointed. I let all the hype from those whom previously viewed TNA get to me and I was treated to lengthy promos and matches that were sub-par. I liked some of the later matches but nothing the WWE (Especally Smackdown!) can't do.

I did like that they didn't have embarrassing gimmicks or stunts like the WWE in place of that NWA: TNA had Erotic Dancing girls in a cage (a far cry from the Nitro Girls of days gone by). I like Glen Gilbberti, Sandman, Juvi, Jerry Lynn and Goldylocks on commentating.

However the X-Division is overrated especially Jason Kross and Kid Kash. To be quite frank I will watch the show if they get a network deal, but until then my Ten bucks is going to something more important, my WWE T-Shirt.

I'm a Hardcore Street Fighter Fan, and I enjoyed it.

Warning: Spoilers
(WANING SPOILERS!!!!!!)

I don't know why people think this is a bad movie when actually it's not. It's story of Bison holding hostages for a ransom is not parallel to the Video Game's Story but that is something M. Bison would do. Also most of the characters did look like themselves or at least tried to (Ken was the only who didn't). The Humor by Dee Jay and Zangief was too good

ZANGEIF: QUICK CHANGE THE CHANNEL!

Captain Sawawda was an also welcomed addition to the Street Fighter franchise and I someday hope to see him in another SF related project. The acting was great and the action was unparalleled. My only complaint is they could have tried harder with the special moves. Other than that this was an awesome experience. 10/10

Polluters just wouldn't understand.
6 March 2003
Sigh it's a shame most of you guys had to rag on such an awesome cartoon. It spread such a good message without being preachy about it. I mean tell me it wouldn't be cool to control the elements, also the anamation may have been bad but the voice acting was great. Just be glad none of you ever seen the E Patrol now that's preachy.

If we all work together we can help spread the message this great show started with and remember the power is yours!!

PS Mah-ti did use the Hart ring.

¡Mucha Lucha! (2002–2005)
8/10
It's not just wrestling, it's a way of life.
1 March 2003
Mucha Lucha is a really good and difrent series made by Lili Mort and Eddie Chin. It's not everyday that the wrestling style of Lucha Libre is showcase like the way it is in the show. The fact that anyplace at anytime a ring would pop up and the wrestlers do slick, unreal moves. Other than that The Flea and Snow Pea make this series a hit. I hope Kids WB' keeps this show on for quite a while.

Mega Man (1994–1995)
If you think this show is bad I ask you why?
3 November 2002
I love Mega Man and even though it does not always follow the storyline of the games it is more like the video games than people think. So they have muscles get over it. As for Protoman being a bad guy he (or Darkman as the case may be) was a bad guy until Mega Man 5. This show was really excellent Cut Man and Guts Man were "Cut-Ups". :) Great storyline, awesome action and a vast amount of weapon changes Mega's got the Plasma Power.
