17 Again (2009)
Really not as bad as you would expect.
17 Again wasn't as terrible as you may expect, considering it is a Zac Effron movie. This movie was pretty interesting, and I think it was better than the original. There were a few awkward scenes, like when the daughter was acting like a lion, but overall, the movie wasn't that bad. I give it nine stars because it is good for a Zac Effron movie. If I was grading it on the same standard as other movies, it would probably be a 7 star movie. If you were considering seeing this movie, I actually think you should. Zac Effron was fantastic, as was the plot of the story. Matthew Perry was OK also. This movie is not a must see, but if you are looking for something to do on a rainy Saturday, this is a good way to spend your time. It has a happy ending, which is really cliché, but most movies are. See this movie. It is actually really good. Also, it was pretty awkward in like 5 parts, so don't see it with your girlfriends / boyfriends.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009)
Really good movie............and I mean it.
This movie was really good. It is the story of how Paul Blart, a semi- useless mall cop has his mall invaded. He has to save the woman he loves and his daughter from the invaders, who are lead by double agent Veck, a mall cop in training. This movie is funny mainly because of the physical comedy. The words that are said are not really that funny, but the actions are hilarious. Paul Blart does everything from falling out of an air vent to faking hypoglycemia. This movie is only funny if you are really stupid, but it if you are really stupid, you will love this movie. I recommend this movie for anyone who is either five years old or will Laugh at anything.
Rudy (1993)
Th best sports movie ever filmed.
This movie is one of the greatest ever made. It is about this small boy with a dream. He wants to play football. In high school, he was the smallest player on his team, but he had the most tackles. It is a story with a lesson on "If you have heart, you can do anything." Rudy is a great character. Nice, Quiet, Simple. It was really motivating. The way the coach promises to let Rudy dress for one game that season, but then retires. It was really interesting how all the other players came up to the coach and asked him to let Rudy dress in their places. That seemed just awesome to me. The only thing Rudy really did wrong in the movie was to paint the helmets with Notre Dame. Only actual students are allowed to paint the helmets, and Rudy broke that rule. Rudy is a great inspiration to people everywhere and is a very powerful character. This is a great movie and I gave it a 10 out of 10.
21 (2008)
Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!
This movie was great. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen, EVER. This is a must see. It was great. It is about Ben Campbell, who has no life at all and is trying to get into Harvard Medical. One day, in class, he figures out the famous Monty Hall problem (Goats and a Car). His teacher, Mickey Rosa, runs a secret gambling society. They go to Vegas and count cards on weekends. This movie is the story of how he tries to make enough money to get into Harvard Medical. The movie was fast paced, yet incredibly detailed. If you want to see a movie, rent this. It is really really good. Ben Campbell is a great character and is just really cool. This movie gets a 10, and it deserves it.
Faith Rewarded: The Historic Season of the 2004 Boston Red Sox (2004)
Finally!!! Sox Challenge Cards and Become Champs
This movie was incredible. It was the story of the Boston Red Sox historic season in two thousand and four. The best part of this movie was the fact that there were so many Boston Red Sox players who were interviewed for this movie. They spoke to players like Manny Ramirez, Kevin Youkilis, Jason Varitek, Johnny Damon, and Curt Schilling. It recounts the Red Sox season from the fist game against the Orioles until the final pitch of the two thousand four World Series. Keith Foulke was interviewed on his final amazing pitch to Edgar Rentaria. They show us interviews with Terri Francona about new additions and subtractions from the team (eg. Nomar Garciapara, Pokey Reese, and Marc Bellhorn). This movie was an incredible inspiration to all great Red Sox fans. If you are a great Red Sox fan, you will really like this movie and it is a must see for all great baseball fans. I really love this movie.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
Well, it was OK. Not great.
This movie was not great, just OK. It held to the personalities of all the characters. Anekin was impulsive. Obi was strict and tough. Overall, it was an OK movie. The plot was sort of boring. All Anekin and Asoka had to do was return little Rotta the Hut back to his father, Jobba. The story was thin and lacked any deception or plausibility. It always told you what was going to happen. When the bad dudes plotted to tell Jobba that they Jedi were trying to kill him, it showed that. This made the movie too simple and it didn't take any brains at all the figure it out. Overall, it was fun to watch, but after I watched it, I felt like I had wasted time. Its is an OK movie. If you are a real Star Wars fanatic, you should see it. Other then that, probably not.
Quantum of Solace (2008)
great movie, but not a great Bond
Well, this movie was a really good movie. The only thing is, it isn't a great Bond. James Bond was known to be a super-suave government agent who always knew what to do and could always keep himself in control. I have seen all the Bond, and no matter what other people say, this was not one of the best. In this movie, Bond was basically just a cold-blooded killer who "didn't care who he hurt" (Quote from M, played by Judi Dench). This Bond was not a real Bond, because the actual character James Bond did not act like himself. Don't get me wrong, the action scenes were fast and held my interest. Also, the plot was really interesting. This movie is a definite see if you want a fast pace shootout, but if you want to see a true James Bond movie, this should not be your first choice (Goldfinger, Moonraker, or Casino Royale would be better). I gave this MOVIE an eight out of ten. This is because of the action. If I had rated it on how good of a BOND it was, I would give it a 4. It may not be a traditional Bond, but it is still a good movie and a must see.
Rear Window (1954)
Great!
This was a really good movie. The story of the man who lives across the street and kills his wife is a great plot. L.B. Jeffries was a great character and always knew what to do. Like when the man came from across the street came into Jeffrie's room, he knew to make the camera flash go off to protect himself. The character was also great because he would always make snappy lines about the murderer. It was fun to watch the murderer become so mad at Jeffries. Jeffries was really smart and funny. That was the main reason I liked this movie. Eventually, I would like to see "The Birds" That movie is a story about a town that is attacked by evil birds. Both movies were rumored to be great. This is a definite see!
